220/132/11KV Shutdown Normalization Procedure :

At times of Shutdown, Both Earth

Switches -S2 and -S4 of main bus bar ,interlink earth switches -S6 and -S8 must

be at on position with breakers -S1,-S3,-S5

and -S7 are at off position. all off position

breakers must be verified before

commencing

operation/repair/maintenance work.

Ground Rods are best choice for checking

it.

Shutdown normalization process :

Engineer must well aware of Team clearance for shutdown normalization. Safety personnel clearance is mandatory.

both breakers at 132/11KV Transformer must be remain in off position during normalization.

In good practice the earth switch (Isolators) are couple mechanically with Breakers , in the normalization case S2 and S4 will be off and

Breaker S1 or S3 will be at on position

after that make -S6 at off position

then put on -S5

after that make -S8 at off position

then put on -S7 (Transformer Primary Breaker )

now you can normalized transformer breakers, 1st primary then secondary , all feeders breaker must remain at off position during

normalization process
