love. The Mass celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation will be held on Saturday, April 14

th at 5pm. Bishop William T.

McGrattan will be celebrating this Mass. The next Baptism preparation class will be held on Saturday, May 12

th at 10:00

these sessions prior to the baptism. Registration forms are available on the information tables in the Cathedral and on our website.

RCIA: The Next Step for the Parish

"The neophytes are those who were

recently initiated into the Church

through the sacraments of baptism,

confirmation, and Eucharist. During the Easter sea-

son, and often throughout the year after, they spend

time reflecting on the mysteries. This process is

called ‘mystagogy.’ But their practice of mystagogy is

simply a participation in what all baptized Chris-tians

are called to do. All of us who are baptized, whether

last year or many years ago, are called to constantly

reflect on our experience of God, discern its mean-

ing, renew our commitment to our baptismal prom-

ises, and commit ourselves to living those promises

in the ordinary events of our daily life." Taken from

Diana Macalintal 2007, Mystagogy: Savoring the

Mystery of God .

A special Thank

You to all of those

who helped,

planned, and par-

ticipated in the

Holy Week and

Easter liturgies —

the various Ministry coordinators, the Lectors,

Eucharistic Ministers, Altar Servers, and Ushers.

In addition, heartfelt gratitude is extended to all

of those who volunteered countless hours in

helping to transform the Church environment

from Palm Sunday through to Easter — The

members of the Art and Environment, Hospital-

ity ministries, and the builders of the Easter

tomb. Also a warm thank you to the volunteers

who organized the Easter Vigil Reception. The

gathering was a great success in bringing to-

gether our community. Throughout the week it

was evident that we have dedicated volunteers

who wanted to share their love for Jesus and our

parish. Your generosity was greatly appreciated.

DID YOU KNOW? Our beautiful main Altar flower dis-

plays are arranged by Sheila

Madonna a parishioner who volun-

teers her time to help beautify our

worship space. ([email protected]).
