Good News, Bad News
Summer’s over
Now the good news:
Something to Look Forward To
Compliments of the Instructional Technology Department
You get an extra planning period every other week Your kids get instructed in the Utah state core
curriculum for technology. Utah core is defined for grades 3-6 Not for K-2
How It Works STS must instruct no more than 20
classes of 45 minutes every two weeks
During this time, classroom teacher drops off students at the ProjectLab (room 24) and leaves for a 45 minute planning time
Schools with more than 20 regular classroom teachers must make other arrangements to provide a planning time for teachers numbering 21 or more “Be creative.”

How Can You Help? A seating chart would be nice.
They’re still new, but you probably have a better idea where to ideally seat students
Drop your kids off and take 45 minutes off Plan, catch up on email, stay and watch,
whatever
