    Findings

    69% of employees said that the training was identified

    according to work.

    50% of the employees voted for training being given intime.

    61% had attended training programs once in a year.

    93% of the employee actively participated in training

    programs.

    14% of the employees were extremely satisfied with thetraining imparted whereas 71 % were satisfied.

    66% said that they applied the learning from trainingprogram to their daily work.

    86% of the employees agreed to the fact that IFFCO paidgreat importance to training and development ofemployees.

    7% rated their previous training programs as excellent

    while 66% rated it to be very good.

    86% of the employees were sure about Trainingbridgesgap between current and standard performance, whereas11% had no opinion regarding it.

    40% strongly agreed to the fact that trainers werecompetent whereas 1% disagreed to it.

    Recommendations Employees are satisfied with the current training

    and development system.

    A feedback system should be developed so that

    employees can immediately tell/record theirexperience.

    Some incentive or award to be attached so that it

    motivates employees to attend training sessions.

    Short duration training programs to be held at

    office itself so that it saves costs and employees

    nominated do not refuse to go.

    Training programs to be more interactive and

    practical so as to have more employee

    participation.

    Employees to be encouraged to give correct

    feedback so that improvement can be done.

    This project has a few limitations otherwise could

    have given a clearer picture.
