Introduction In order to visualize the conceptual
knowledge gained during studies, the
students of B-Tech 3rd year
(SECE/SEE/SEEE) are required to undergo
an internship of 6 weeks. The internship must
end before 24/07/2014.
No. of Letters to be Issued • Maximum 2 letters will be issued to students
• For an exceptional case 3rd letter may
issued for genuine case with the special
permission of HOD
Steps for undergoing six weeks
internship • First the students are required to submit request
letter for issuing of industrial/institutional training
letters to respective coordinator of school (available
on UMS)
• Coordinators will provide the training request
letters to students.
• Students are required to submit confirmation from
respective industry/institute to the respective
coordinators.
• Seminar based evaluation on training will be
conducted in the 1st week of August(tentative)
along with submission of training report.
Important Dates
• Last Date of Submission of request letter for issuing
training letter is 10th April 2014.
• Last Date of Acceptance of confirmation is 26th April,
14 (Saturday)
• Training Period : 9th June, 14 to 24th July, 14 or 6
weeks of training should be completed before 24th
July, 2014.

• Evaluation period: 1st week of August 2014 (Tentative)

• Note: students may under take training IT technology as well but it must relate to discipline

DRDO, HAL, ISRO, BEL. BHEL, NTPC, CEL, CDAC, BARC,
AAI
AIR, Prasar Bharti, Doordarshan Kendra, MTNL, DMRC,
Indian Railway,
The CSIR labs, National labs (NPL),
Research Institutes: IITs, NITs and IIITs etc.
Reputed Training institutes: CCNA,
Telecom companies: BSNL, Airtel, Aircel, Tata Indicom,
Vodafone, Reliance, Idea, Uninor, Ericson, Qualcomm,
