The Sharper Image Hover Board has a 36 Volt 4.4A Samsung Lithium battery. Is the battery safe? Our products are fully tested and comply with safety regulations. The Sharper Image Hover Board battery is UL listed and CE certified. How long does the battery last? A fully charged battery lasts about 12 miles (approximately 2 hours of riding). How long does it take to charge the Hover Board battery? Charging time is about 130 minutes for a full charge, 90 minutes for an 80% charge. Does the charger have an automatic shutoff? Yes, once the battery is fully charged it will stop charging automatically, even if it is still plugged in. This prevents overcharging and overheating. How do I charge my Hover Board? 1. Ensure charging port is clean and dry. 2. Connect the charging cable to the Hover Board and plug the power cord into an AC outlet. 3. A Red LED light will indicate that the Hover Board is charging. When the indicator light goes from Red to Green, the Hover Board is fully charged. What do the colored LED lights mean? There are two lights on the top of the Hover Board near the center. Trouble Shooting Guide Problem Possible Solution

My Hover Board won’t charge. There may be a problem with the charger. Do not use another charger, as this may damage the unit. Please contact Sharper Image Customer Service at 1 (877) 210-3449.

The bumper(s) are missing.

The bumpers are coming off.

We are sorry to hear this. This issue can be easily resolved by putting a permanent adhesive glue to the underside of the existing bumpers.

The battery cover is cracked.

The Hover Board is making a grinding sound.

This is actually a simple fix. Add a spray of WD-40 to the wheel axles and at the break in the center of the board.

The Hover Board is making a grinding sound.

If WD-40 does not work, stand the Hover Board up vertically on one wheel and lightly tap the center of the other wheel that is exposed with a rubber mallet. This puts the wheels back in place.

Hover Board is shaking / vibrating. This is an error message, and indicates that your Hover Board needs to be reset. Please follow these instructions: 1. Keep Hover Board horizontal. 2. Turn the power Off. 3. Press the power switch continually for 15 seconds and then release.

Make sure the board is on a flat surface and that the pedals are level. If that doesn’t work, try to reset the board (see above). If neither of those options work, the Hover Board is defective. Please contact Sharper Image Customer Service at 1 (877) 210-3449.

Half of the Hover Board is working, but the other half is not responsive.

There is no fix for this. The Hover Board is defective. Please contact Sharper Image Customer Service at 1 (877) 210-3449.

Hover Board is not moving. • The Hover Board will not operate if the surface is angled more than 10° forward or backward when you are trying to get on.

• The Hover Board will not operate on an incline of 35° or steeper.

• The Hover Board will not operate if the battery level is too low.

• The Hover Board will not operate while it is charging.

• The Hover Board will slow down automatically if it exceeds the maximum speed.

My Hover Board battery is not operating as long as it is supposed to.

• A smooth, flat surface will increase the range. • Riding and storing the Hover Board at recommended temperatures will increase the range.

• Reasonable battery charging and maintenance will increase the range.

• Maintaining a moderate speed will increase the range.

• Frequent starts, stops, acceleration and deceleration will decrease the range.

• Continued driving under low power will negatively affect battery life.

NOTE: Other factors may affect the Hover Board’s range, including weight of the operator, the temperature and surface conditions.
