Coming to St. Jude Healing Mass: 7:00 p.m.

This Wednesday, May 28, 2014

We are blessed to have Fr. Michael Barry, SS.CC., come to South Florida to lead us in a powerful evening of prayer and healing. Fr. Barry is from San Bernardino, California, where he tends Mary’s Table, a ministry for the poor. He also travels the world giving Heal-ing of the Family Tree Workshops

and Retreats. He is the former provincial of his or-der: The congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Fr. Barry has visited our area many times over the past several years doing healing masses and retreats. Those who have come can attest to the joy they have felt in hearing Fr. Barry’s insightful shar-ing and healing prayer. His Irish charm and humor keeps spirits high.

Our Lord has blessed Fr. Barry, with gifts of word of knowledge, word of wisdom, and a powerful inner and physical healing ministry that is a witness of God’s love and mercy.

“It (the abortion killing center) represents a place women go and are left confused because they do not hear the truth about abortion and their choices. They are in a sense abused by the medi-cal procedures that are performed without quality medical instructions/information. It’s a tragic place” ~Abby Johnson.

136. What does the Church mean when she confesses: “I be-lieve in the Holy Spirit”?

To believe in the Holy Spirit is to profess from the Father and the Son and “is worshipped and glori-fied with the Father and the Son.” The Spirit is “sent...into our hearts” (Galatians 4:6) so that we might receive new life as sons of God.

Children are made for faith! Chil-dren can reach great heights through a real relationship with Jesus and knowledge of their Catholic Faith. This CD features ten songs from the K4J programs

that kids are sure to love, and which will help them build their character and teach lessons about the Faith. See how quickly your kids will learn the words and meaning of the songs!

Parishioner Comments: K4J has made the Catholic Faith come alive in an imaginative way that’s understandable to the kids. They love it and it is so FUN!

O Mary, Queen of All Hearts, Advocate of the most hopeless cases; Mother most pure, most compassionate; Mother of Divine Love, full of

divine light, we confide to your care the favors which we ask of you today. Consider our misery, our tears, our interior trials and

sufferings! We know that you can help us through the merits of your Divine Son, Jesus. We promise, if our prayers are heard, to spread

your glory, by making you known under the title of Mary, Queen of all Hearts, Queen of the Universe.

Grant, we beseech you, hear our prayers, for every day you give us so many proofs of your love and your power of intercession to heal both

body and soul. We hope against all hope: Ask Jesus to cure us, pardon us, and grant us final perseverance. O Mary, Queen of All Hearts, help us, we have confidence in you. (3 times) Amen.
