SAP Note Header Data Symptom Make-to-order planning, individual project planning, planning without final assembly: requirements on the same day, which differ with respect to the configuration, the production version, the effectivity parameters, the WBS element or the BOM explosion number are grouped together, covered by an order. This order has the features (configuration...) of the first requirement. Solution This repair has the effect that material requirements planning creates individual orders with suitable features (configuration, production version, BOM explosion number) in simple cases for the individual requirements. However, this is only possible in make-to-order production (make-to-order planning, individual project planning, planning without final assembly). Grouping cannot be prevented in make-to-stock production - not in the current development release either. The following program corrections are already contained in the standard system as of Release 4.6. However, you can only achieve a complete solution which guarantees the separation of stocks, requirements and orders according to the configuration, production version, effectivity parameters or the BOM explosion number by using the alternative procedures described in Note 85695. This correction cannot, for example, have the effect that the material requirements planning takes the characteristic value assignment of orders confirmed already (the stock) or the configuration of fixed orders into account for planning or the rescheduling check. This is, in principle, not possible. Furthermore, the change described here does not have any effect on functions such as the order report or the pegged requirements. As before, no differentiation can be made here between the individual requirements on the same day in the same section.
