We know transition is not easy. Many of you were cast into the role of caretaker and were well tuned in with your loved one’s needs and desires long before we were. Our support groups are an excellent opportunity to voice your needs, triumphs, struggles, and questions. All we ask is that you come as you are. All the sessions are free to attend.According to Susie, our Family Services Coordinator, the topics for discussion are open to whatever is going on with the individual lives and journeys of those who attend - things they are struggling with, things they are celebrating, and so on.

We are so excited to be opening up recreation activities again in the Village. Enclosed you will find our first Recreation Calendar since the pandemic struck in 2020. We have already started having scenic van rides and the residents have been enjoying the outings. We are also welcoming back previous performers who have been vaccinated and we will be ensuring they follow all safety protocols. In RemembranceIn RemembranceJac came to EHL in August of 2018. He was a big fan of music, especially music from the Big Band era. Isabel, our Resident Coordinator at the Birch Home, shared with us that, “We will deeply miss watching ‘Captain Jac’ dance to the Bee Gees!.” Jac was also known for his sense of humor and for his love for bananas. Jac passed away at the age of 90.

We have had some fun moments in the sun this summer. We held a BBQ in the Park to celebrate the 4th of July and our staff and residents have been enjoying picking our blueberries.
