NOTICE TO ALL ATTENDEESNO DOG SHALL BE LEFT UNATTENDED IN ANY CLOSED VEHICLEThe WCWDCA and WCA reserve the right to remove any animal in distress from a parked vehicle, exercisepen or crate and all persons attending this dog show hereby waive any claim for damages against the clubsfor such removal. An Event Committee Hearing will be convened to consider further disciplinary action ifdeemed warranted.
HOST HOTEL AND SHOW SITEThe host hotel and site of the 2021 national specialty is Eisenhower Complex, 2634 Emmitsburg Rd,Gettysburg, PA. Call 717-334-8121 for reservations. Eisenhower room rate is $119.00 + 11% tax while the Aspire (no dogs) is $139.00 plus tax. Please mentionyou are with the Weimaraner Club of America. This is a group rate with a reduced pet fee. This rate is validfor 3 days before and 3 days after the event based on room availability. Reservations must be received bySeptember 24, 2021.Please Note:- There are 2 hotels in this complex and both have been newly renovated. The Eisenhower accepts dogs and
the Aspire does not allow dogs.
-Pet fee is a flat fee of $50.00 for the entire stay. The hotel will furnish plastic for under the crates.-4 Dog Limit per room.
-Dogs must be crated when left alone in room.
-No dogs to be left overnight in the ballrooms.
-Guests will be responsible for any sleeping or meeting room damages done by dogs.
-No bathing of dogs in hotel guest rooms. A hose with warm water from the hotel laundry room will beavailable.
-Dogs will be exercised in designated areas only. Grounds must remain clean at all times includingimmediate pick up of animal waste. Plastic bags and trash cans will be provided. Please use them! Failure to follow these rules can result in a show committee hearing and disciplinary action.

RV PARKINGThe cost is $30/night and there are no hook ups (electrical or sanitation). If you have a room reserved, thereis no cost to park the RV. There are limited spaces available. To reserve space call the hotel roomreservation number (717-334-8121).Dumping & water service at nearby www.gettysburgcampground.com. You will need to travel to thecampgrounds for service. Fees available at campgrounds.
CRATINGCrating in designated area only. No dogs left in crating area overnight. Crating set up available after 4:00 pmon Monday, October 25, 2021. Please help us remain a welcomed guest at the Eisenhower Complex bykeeping your area clean.

NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS
Acknowledgment of entries will be made as soon as possible after entries have closed. Should suchacknowledgment not be received by the exhibitor within a reasonable time, please notify the Show Secretaryat the listed address or telephone. (610) 376-1880. The Show Secretary assumes no responsibility for cashsent through the mail.Post dated checks or returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Show Secretary will add acollection fee to the amount of each returned check. The returned check must be made good by cash ormoney order before the dog(s) will be allowed in the ring. Any person that issues a check that is returned fornon-payment, will be required to pay a fine of $30.00 per check and all items with which check or checks wereissued shall then be paid by cash, money order or cashier’s check.CONDITIONAL, UNSIGNED, INCOMPLETE ENTRIES received without fee will not be accepted.Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever may make such errors, and no entryfee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date. Everyeffort to find all duplicate entries will be made; however, if entry has been processed, no refund will be made.Entries not on Official AKC Forms or photocopies of entry forms without rules and agreement on reverse sideof Official AKC entry form are NOT acceptable.Changes, additions, corrections or cancellations to entry forms must be received in writing by email or USMail, signed and dated by Owner or Agent prior to the close of entries. Not acceptable by telephone.Entries must be submitted with required entry fee on an Official American Kennel Club Form. Entriessubmitted in the form of telegrams or by telephone cannot be accepted.Entry fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian orJudge, or barred from competition by action of the Event Committee., or because the dog is ineligible tocompete due to being entered incorrectly. There is no refund of entry fees due for duplicate entry oroverpayment of entry fees. If, because of riots, wars, strikes, civil disturbances, national emergencies, healthemergencies, unsafe weather conditions, and the dictates of law enforcement or of the owner(s) of thegrounds and/or facilities or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or tocomplete the event, no refund of entry fee will be made. The well-being of dogs, exhibitors and spectatorsis of paramount importance and, in the event it is necessary to cancel or stop the event before completion,no refund of entry fee will be made. To find out about any AKC event cancellations call the AKC EventCancellation Hotline (877) 252-3229.Only dogs that are eligible to be shown under the AKC rules shall be allowed on the show grounds.All dogs shall be held on leash or confined to their crates, except when being judged or when being exercised.There shall be no drilling nor intensive or corrective training of dogs on the show grounds or premises.Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presenceof their dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged. Dogs may arrive any time priorto their scheduled time of judging. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused.The Club reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All trophies must be claimed theday of the show.Class cash prizes will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for prize money must bemade in the ring before the judging of that Breed is over & the Show Secretary’s Office is advised at once.The Show Secretary & Show giving Club disclaim any liability for cash prizes after the judging of the Breedis over.The welfare of an exhibitor’s child is the responsibility of the exhibitor. It is distinctly understood that exhibitorswill exercise control and restraint over their children on the day of the show. For everyone’s safety, no babystrollers or wheeled child carriers are allowed on the show grounds.All persons attending this dog show hereby waive by claim for damages against Weimaraner Club of America& Weimaraner Club of the Washington D.C. Area, its members, or agents, in the event a motor vehicle mustbe entered to rescue a dog from overheating or suffocation due to improper ventilation.Weimaraner Club of America & Weimaraner Club of the Washington D.C. Area, its Show Secretaries, theiragents, employees, etc. will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will assumeno responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or to any of their dogs orproperty participating in these shows, and further assumes no responsibility for injury to children at theseshows.Any exhibitor or person in their employ found to be littering or failing to clean-up after their dogs will bebrought before the event committee.
