2020 Board ElectionsWAEMA members traditionally vote on the Board slate of nominees in‐person at our annual spring meeting. This year, in response to the global pandemic, WAEMA is moving both the annual spring meeting and voting to an online platform.  

To ensure that the WAEMA community fairly and fully represents our members, we encourage you to take part in the elections process. The WAEMA Board of Directors are elected to represent our members' interests and needs, and this is the best way to make your voice heard. 

How Do I Vote? You will receive an email with a link to the online voting and instructions. The email will be sent to the address we have on file. Please let us know as soon as possible if there is a different email address we should use. If you have not received an email notice, please contact us to ensure you receive the link to vote. 

Eligible members will vote on the enclosed slate of nominees to be appointed to the Board of Directors.  

When Do I Vote? Voting will be open after our annual spring meeting on Sunday, May 31, 2020. Online voting will be open for one week to allow for more members to vote. The voting deadline will be Friday, June 5, 2020. 

Who Can Vote? All Professional members of WAEMA with membership dues paid through June 30, 2020. This includes monthly and yearly membership subscriptions. As per WAEMA's bylaws: 

"Professional member is entitled to one vote for each Director and one vote upon each matter submitted to a vote by the Board."

I am licensed as an Eastern-Asian Medicine practitioner and acupuncturist with a combined expertise as a therapeutic massage practitioner with certification in cranio-sacral therapy. I offer an exceptional understanding of the importance of the practice of acupuncture and East-Asian medicine within a clinical (individual or group) setting to provide a foundation of sustainable health and optimal wellness with a strong foundation in Japanese Meridian and classic acupuncture modalities (Toyohari) in addition to auriculotherapy, Dr Tan’s Balance method and meridian therapy, other Japanese meridian techniques, TCM, electro-acupuncture, moxabustion, tuina,lymphatic massage and Acutonics.
