We transformed a Typical “developer built” Bedroom into a small child’s delight. Influenced by Pixar Animation, GDA created a palette of colors, textures, and physical elements & proportions that complimented the clients’ animation cells mounted on the walls. Custom Headboard and Valance, Custom Painted Walls, New lighting plan, many Custom vivid and fun Pillows including a Chenille Window Seat & Fun Fur body pillow. Also included in the design was a “jack and jill” bathroom with new VCT Tile in coordinating colors @ the floor and halographic plastic laminate at the mirror wall.

Second Story Addition/ Remodel

2nd story Addition & Remodel for an Eastmoreland home. The new back build-out and front dormer allowed for a New Master Bedroom and Bath as well as two additional Bedrooms and an Office. Design work was done after Architects drawings were submitted and before Construction was started. GDA revamped Lighting and Power Plans plus specified finishes, materials, fixtures and an extensive paint specification plan.

Walls were livened up with Family photos, Art and new Shelving storage in sitting room. Bringing much needed coziness to the 3 rooms were new lighting fixtures. Light can make all the difference in a room. Children’s clutter was organized with a new shoe rack and bins.

A New, Lighter feeling, more Contemporary Kitchen was desired for this favorite Beach home get-away. The Lay-out was redesigned to make it user–friendly and to accommodate larger appliances plus new lighting and power needs. A portion of the existing faux Fireplace Wall was taken down to make room for the New Buffet unit. Special cabinets were designed for the family dog’s food dispensery and storage of their leashes, toys, etc. Custom Designed Cabinets in Cherry with custom tile layout at peninsula island,

Master Suite Remodel

Master suite floor plans for remodel of a Street of Affordable Dreams home located in Tigard, Or. Updated materials of stone, glass block, granite and tile will transform the space into a spa like retreat. The overall layout was expanded to utilize the unfinished attic space to create more square footage in order to accommodate a larger bathroom and closet. Relocation of Window & omitting pair of entry doors in Master Bedroom provided better layout of Furnishings for client & gave ample space for a new Fireplace.

Clients contacted 20/20 for Site, llc to assist them with their Vacation House Remodel. 20/20 provided them with Space Planning, Design Development, Product, Finish and Materials Selections, and Construction Documents for Permit.

An Addition was added to the side of the garage to include a family room, bathroom, laundry room, mud room & storage room with connecting hallway to main house.

K The Kitchen footprint was enlarged & included a new walk-in pantry. Adjacent to the kitchen was a new entry way with mudroom.

The Master bathroom was renovated to include a new tub & shower. A new deck door was addedto the master bedroom.

20/20 provide Construction Administration acting as liaison between Client & Contractor during the entire Remodeling process. Client desires for their remodel were an enlarged entertaining kitchen, new entry w/mudroom, addition with new laundry, bathroom, additional mudroom, family room and recreational equipment storage. The existing Master Bath was enlarged& shower & soaking tub added.

We fondly call this project the “Money Pit” after the movie.

20/20 for Site did all of the Design work & the Construction Documents for Permit for this Whole House Renovation & Basement “dig-out” for a full, true lower level. It looked better before construction began.

During construction, the General Contractor abandoned the project, stole the money, and was never seen again!

20/20 was called in to finish the renovation as we have our General Contractor’s license. It was a headache, cost 3 times more than the Owner anticipated, and caused grief & heartache, but the following page confirms you really can make a silk purse out of a pig’s ear.

This Project from Hell turned into one of 20/20’s proudest accomplishments.

20/20 designed all of the Exterior & Landscaping. The Kitchen was done on a budget – all of the tiles in the backsplash cost a total of $100.A Powder room was shoehorned into the old staircase space- 3’x5’ with pivot door.The new Lower Level was finished to include a Fireplace, Office, Master Suite, Kitchenette and covered, outdoor Patio with hot tub.The upstairs Master Bedroom has an awesome view of Mt Hood that you can also see from an adjacent deck– Priceless!

Interior Design “Lift” for an existing Kitchen. The Kitchen had dated plastic laminate countertops and cheap tile backsplash. The windows were aluminum and lost their seal; now hazy. Our client desired a more Modern kitchen with richer looking Finishes and Fixtures while retaining her Cabinets which were in good condition. She also required Appliance Garages to hide her clutter. The worst feature of the existing space was the horrendous fluorescent lighting fixture.

Beautiful New Green Granite slab Countertops with coordinating 12x12 Tiles @ Backsplash replaced old plastic laminate countertop and cheap tile backsplash. New undermount, Stainless Steel Sink with stainless pull-out spray Faucet, New Lighting in new Coved ceiling, Plug mold under cabinets for unobstructed back splash design, New Appliance garages to organize counter clutter, and window replacement with new window coverings. Melding of existing that works with new desired finishes, fixtures, and lighting, and designer accents and details.
