precise measurements supplied by your dealer to build a liner that fits your pool like a glove. Using our unique SureSeam

welding process your liner will not only fit better but will last longer. The SureSeam process uses proven RF welding

Here at Tara Manufacturing, we began manufacturing vinyl pool liners in 1984 to fill

the need for pool liners that fit. Precision and attention to detail are the hallmarks

Water Color

When choosing a liner it helps to decide whether you want it to be a deep blue, a light blue or an aqua color. The floor of the

pool is the most important factor in creating the water color. Selecting the floor pattern is a good place to start your pattern

selection. We’ve used the color categories below to show which type of water color the liner will give you.

Deep Blue Light Blue Aqua

Liner Thickness

The standard thickness for pool liners is 20mil. It has been found to be the best balance of strength and flexibility for in-ground

pools. We offer 27mil liner options for pools that need additional thickness in the wall and/or floor of the pool. Thicker liners

can be helpful in areas that experience long hard freezing in the winter or where the floor of the pool is rough and uneven. If

you have questions about whether you need a thicker liner, your pool dealer is your best resource. They have the experience

and knowledge of your area and can recommend what will work best for you.

Environment

There are other factors that will also determine how the water looks in your pool. The amount of shade, the depth of the

pool and the time of day all effect the water color. It helps to take these factors into account when choosing your liner. You

can see below how each of the liners above can vary in different lighting conditions. Since these factors are different for

every pool, your pool’s water color will be completely unique.
