Habitat for Humanity operates in an extremely complex environment. Operationsencompass everything from the nonprofit sector to mortgage law to construction sitemanagement to retail operations. Most people get involved because they have apassion for safe and decent homes for all. Habitat Texas’ work allows local offices tofocus on the mission, building homes for low-income families. Founded in 2005, Habitatfor Humanity Texas is a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation that provides associationservices for more than 70 local Habitat offices, serving more than 80 Texas counties,bringing hope and shelter to thousands of hardworking low-income Texas families. Our purpose is to build the capacity of local Habitats by increasing access to resources,facilitating communication, and providing statewide leadership to empowercommunities to thrive and support healthy families. Here are some of the services weprovide to the local offices.
