To Benefit Newton-Wellesley’s Workforce Development Council

How will the funds be used?The 2020 Newton-Wellesley Hospital Golf Tournament will benefit the

Workforce Development Council’s youth summer internship program.

Together with the Waltham Partnership for Youth’s Summer Internship

Program, the Workforce Development Council will welcome 15 high

school students from Waltham to Newton-Wellesley Hospital for paid

summer internships. These 15 interns will be exposed to an array of

employment opportunities in

radiology, nursing, women’s

imaging, environmental services,

development and other areas

within the hospital. The Workforce

Development Council hopes these

opportunities will build confidence

and offer firsthand experience to

our summer interns, while shaping

their understanding of potential

future training and employment.
