SMA-HR, TREMOR, PRISM 40s and 120s BLAST and SMA Digitisers - record any sensor So, you're happy with the sensors you've got, but you want an easy-to-use, affordable digital recorder. The entry level 3+1 channel Gecko Compact offers full functionality at a budget price, with a splash resistant body suited for installation inside shelters or vaults. The next step up is the beautifully designed waterproof Gecko Rugged for outdoor monitoring applications, which introduces the option of an internal battery for all day monitoring. We can also supply an Ethernet+WiFi adaptor or USB cable to stream data to a PC. Professional all-in-one earthquake sensors Larger, higher sensitivity sensors are tightly integrated under the Rugged body for our Gecko "Pro" range of triaxial seismographs and accelerographs. An optional internal battery provides hours of backup running time if the main external power source is becomes unavailable. Gecko Tremor uses velocity sensors with a flat frequency response from 0.5 seconds to 1600Hz. By adjusting the sensing range, users are able to tune the Tremor for high sensitivity local earthquake and aftershock monitoring (e.g. 16mm/s clip level) or for low frequency blast & urban vibration monitoring using the full 254mm/s range. The Gecko SMA-HR uses the latest technology low noise optical sensors for high resolution strong motion acceleration monitoring while maintaining a ±2g full scale range, ideal for structural engineering applications. The Prism 40s and Prism 120s velocity sensors use compact, low power components to achieve high sensitivity in a robust, portable package. Two frequency range options are available: 40-seconds to 90Hz for regional scale earthquake monitoring applications; or 120-seconds to 60Hz for monitoring earthquakes worldwide. GECKO COMPACT GECKO RUGGED Seismographs and Accelerographs Portable all-in-one vibration sensors Add an internal triaxial geophone or accelerometer to the Rugged to create a simple, affordable digital sensor. The most affordable digital sensor model is the Gecko Blast with its triaxial set of 4.5Hz geophones that are perfectly suited to urban vibration or blast velocity monitoring. An extra channel allows input for an external air pressure monitoring microphone or other sensor. The Gecko SMA (strong motion accelerograph) uses a triaxial accelerometer block for monitoring large signal levels in noisy environments. It is available with full scale range options from ±2g to ±400g. A central hole passing through the entire sensor allows for rapid single hole installation using the included mounting kit. The Blast also includes spikes to replace the removable feet for quick installation in soil.
