NB: Applicants are expected to prepare ALL excerpts. All markings and instructions (e.g. bowing, dynamics, tempi, etc.) are to be observed.

2. Own choice work

A concerto movement or other appropriate solo work that best demonstrates your technical abilities and musicianship.

3. Sight-reading to the level of the ensemble. GENERAL INFORMATION • Your audition will be unaccompanied; • Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your audition time; • Your audition will last approximately 7 to 10 minutes; • Due to time constraints, you may be asked to stop playing before you reach the end of your own

choice work; • The panel may not want to hear all your excerpts; • Any audition requirements not prepared will result in an incomplete assessment of the applicant’s

suitability for the ensemble.
