Arts Leaders of Metro Atlanta – 2020 Class Bios Kristin Allin – Bread & Butterfly, Inc I am a graduate student at GSU in Urban Studies with an emphasis on affordable housing. I currently intern at the City of Decatur as a city staff liaison to the Decatur Affordable Housing Task Force, and love learning the tools and challenges around housing and how it relates to so many other parts of our society. I also co-own two small businesses with my spouse: Proof Bakeshop and Bread & Butterfly, a restaurant and bakery in Inman Park. I hope to learn more about promoting community desires and arts into affordable housing and related developments. I live with my husband, two boys and two dogs in Decatur. Kate Balzer – The Atlanta Women's Foundation Kate Balzer is the Director of Communications for The Atlanta Women’s Foundation (AWF) and has been with the organization since 2011. She is responsible for developing and executing the Foundation’s communication strategy across traditional and digital platforms. Kate uses storytelling to educate the Atlanta community about the barriers women and girls in metro Atlanta face and how AWF is helping to eliminate those barriers in order for women and girls to live safe, economically self-sufficient, successful lives. She has over twenty years of professional and volunteer nonprofit experience with a focus on social change organizations. Kate earned a B.A. in International Studies from Emory University and a Master of Public Administration in International Management from the Monterey Institute of International Studies. She has been a panelist at The Social Shake-up and 100SMALLBIZ’s Breakfast + Conversations, speaking about digital media and nonprofits, and was award the Phoenix Award – Social Media from the Public Relations Society of America – Georgia Chapter in 2014. Kate currently serves on the Emory College Alumni Board and recently completed a six year term on Emory University’s Friends of Dance Advisory Board, five and half years as Board Chair. Retta Bodhaine – Atlanta Radio Theatre Company I am a fiction writer, a photographer, Managing Member of Write Brain Artistry, LLC, a board member of Atlanta Radio Theatre Company, an audio and lighting technician, a freelance recording engineer, an audio editor, and a literary magazine publisher. A writer and photographer from a young age, I worked on school newspapers and was contracted to do several photo-shoots for local musicians and families. Outside of the scholastic world, I started publishing my written works in 2016. My short stories have appeared in Violet Windows and on ShortFictionBreak.com. With the Atlanta Radio Theatre Company, I’ve written, produced and directed live and studio performances, become the Foley Master, PR Director, and Education Committee Chair. I am currently working on developing a year round educational program for Atlanta Radio Theatre Company, editing Ellie Raine’s Willow of Ashes audio book debut, and on launching The Gray Sisters, an online literary magazine focused on new folk tales and myths. Lauren Bohn – Midtown Alliance Lauren Bohn is the Program Manager of Placemaking and Public Art at Midtown Alliance. As a member of the Urban Design team, she provides staff support to the Midtown Development Review Committee, which gives feedback on new development projects in the Midtown commercial core. She’s worked on the most recent update to Midtown’s long-range plan, Blueprint Midtown, and has assisted in updates to Midtown’s design guidelines and zoning.

More recently, Lauren has focused on defining the organization’s public art and placemaking program as well as contributing to larger plans for a robust open space network. Developing collaborative relationships with property owners and district stakeholders to transform vacant plazas has been a key component to creating active and engaging publicly-accessible spaces. Midtown is proud to be the home of numerous arts and cultural organizations. Therefore, public art and artist engagement is a key component of each project. Lauren’s goal is to continue engaging with the district’s arts community to make this concentration of arts feel more tangible in the public sphere. She is additionally interested in identifying opportunities for Midtown to contribute to Metro Atlanta’s larger arts ecosystem. Amber Bradshaw – Working Title Playwrights Amber Bradshaw is an Atlanta native, a proud Southern queer and a fierce believer in the power of storytelling. She is a dramaturg, director, producer and deviser with a sole focus in new works and script development. In Atlanta she has worked with Actor’s Express, Synchronicity Theatre, the Alliance Theatre, the Center for Puppetry Arts, Out of Hand Theatre, Out Front Theatre, Gathering Wild Dance, and the Essential Theatre. For several years, Amber has directed, dramaturged and produced play readings as a freelance artist in Atlanta. Of the plays developed, the majority have gone on to be awarded readings, development labs and workshop productions in Atlanta and nationally (Some highlights: Split In Three by Daryl Lisa Fazio and That Uganda Play by Theroun D’Arcy Patterson). For WTP, she directs for the Ethel Woolson Lab, the Table Series, dramaturgs member scripts and moderates regularly for WTP’s Monday Night Critique Sessions (MNCS). Amber has co-produced and written three original works (Circa 50; Learning to Fly and Identified: A Queer Variety Show!). She is a proud member of the Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas and the Dramatist Guild of America. Rita Breen – Georgia Power Rita Breen is the Charitable Giving Executive Director for Georgia Power. In this role, she is responsible for Foundation and Corporate Giving programs, with a focus on the Georgia Power Foundation, Inc. She started with Georgia Power in 1998 as an operations consultant and held positions of increasing responsibility in customer service and marketing including management roles in customer satisfaction, customer care operations, and renewable energy. In the community Rita serves on the Board of Trustees for the Georgia Tech Alumni Association, the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Atlanta and the Board of Directors for Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta. She is a graduate of Leadership Cobb, the Conservative Policy Leadership Institute and Catholic Charities Atlanta Leadership classes. Rita received a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Brittnee Buley – City of Atlanta - Mayor's Office of Cultural Affairs Brittnee Buley serves as the Program Manager for Contracts for Arts Services/Power2give Atlanta with the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs. She aims to help artists acquire knowledge, resources, and funding to execute their art projects and programs. From a young age she began drawing and honed her creativity through dance. From the dance ministry at church to having served as President and Choreographer of Tau Sigma Dance Fraternity at Brenau University, Brittnee’s arts leadership skills flourished.

In 2009, Brittnee filled a void for local dancers to find out about auditions and classes when she founded the online platform, ATL Dance Source. She interned with the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs and shared her skills at the Atlanta Cyclorama and Civil War Museum. Her excitement for Atlanta arts continued, as Assistant and Lead Volunteer Coordinator for three years for the Atlanta Jazz Festival and ELEVATE Public Art Festival. Most recently, she helped grow Chastain Arts Center’s social media and marketing presence, including co-creating its 50th Anniversary Interview Documentary. Brittnee holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brenau University in Arts Management with a concentration in Dance. Her passion? To help artists accomplish their dreams.  Tarsha Calloway – Woodruff Arts Center Tarsha Calloway has extensive experience in leadership development and business strategy, in both for profit and non-profit sectors. Ms. Calloway has held management positions in marketing and sales at Marriott International, US Airways and Porsche Cars North America, where she has been highly successful in developing and strategies designed to reduce costs, drive business growth, and respond to evolving customer and constituent needs. In the non-profit sector, Ms. Calloway has developed strategies at the American Cancer Society designed to generate revenue and create partnership synergies, focused on corporate engagement, executive philanthropy and community mobilization. She has also trained and coached fundraising professionals on effective fundraising techniques, prospecting and closing deals. She is currently Vice President for Advancement the Woodruff Arts Center where she leads central fundraising efforts including development operations and shared services. Ms. Calloway is a feature columnist for NonProfit PRO magazine and writes a monthly blog, Fundraising Connections, where she shares her insights and expertise on corporate engagement and philanthropy; diversity and philanthropy; and foundation funding strategies. She also holds a professorship at LaGrange College, teaching The President, the Board and Strategic Planning for the Masters of Arts in Philanthropy and Development Program. Ms. Calloway holds a M.B.A. in International Business from Mercer University Stetson School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Theater from Texas Southern University. Ms. Calloway was named the 2018 Nonprofit Professional of the Year and the Atlanta Journal Constitution 2018 Woman of the Year for Nonprofit/Community. Most recently Ms. Calloway was named as a 2019 Woman of Distinction for Community by the Atlanta Region of March of Dimes. Ms. Calloway resides in Atlanta, GA with her husband and son. Manda Costoulas – Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre Manda Costoulas is a lifelong Marietta resident and currently serves as the Marketing Director for the Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre. She's been with The Strand since 2009 and has had a blast embracing the challenges and triumphs of the non-profit arts life. As a lifelong theatre behind-the-scenes-er, she's had the opportunity to hop around multiple creative disciplines including graphic design, writing for stage and screen, directing, and production management. Traveling, writing, and finding the perfect crossword are some of her hobbies. Willing the Braves to win the World Series is her full-time job.

Sheila Crumrine – City of Suwanee Sheila Crumrine, from Crossville, Tennessee. Attended University of Tennessee, Knoxville (Go Vols!). Married for 31 years to John Crumrine (from Huntsville, Alabama and attended University of Alabama. (Roll Tide!). Son is Connor (age 25 & works at Honda, graduated from Alabama (another Roll Tide) & beautiful girlfriend that just graduated Nursing from Vanderbilt (Go Doors!). Daughter is at UGA and traveling the world on study abroad (Go Dawgs!). We are an SEC Family. I am an avid Folk Art collector and Public Art patron & admirer. I absolutely love the theater and every Broadway Musical ever produced. For the past 20 years we have lived in Suwanee, GA and I have had the opportunity to bring a great deal of art and music into our schools through raising a lot of money by opening 7 new schools as PTA President. I believe that art and music in our schools inspire and encourage every student. Currently, I am chairperson for the city of Suwanee ‘Art for All’ Capital Campaign. We are raising $1.25 M for an iconic piece of Public Art for our new park. Public Art is the key component of our community and we love that it is accessible to everyone. Nicole Davis – National Black Arts Festival Nicole has a Bachelors in Theatre Performance with concentrations in Acting, Dance and Visual Arts from Salisbury University and a Masters in Educational Theatre for Colleges and Communities from New York University. She is the former Program Director for the Children’s Performing Arts Academy at Newark Symphony Hall; Program Associate for the National Coalition of 100 Black Women; Administrative Assistant for the Department of Homeland Security “Homeland Security Advisory Council”; Reports & Analysis Assistant for the Department of Defense “Security Forces”; and Theatre Teaching Artist for Wicomico County Public Schools “Destination Imagination”. Currently she is the Director of Youth Programs for the National Black Arts Festival and Teaching Artist for the Fox Theatre Institute. Nicole is a prolific artist; role-model; motivational speaker; and youth activist who dedicates herself to her community in various capacities including a Managing Director for the Special Ensemble youth vocal performance group, mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters; volunteer Child Advocate for C.A.S.A a “Court Appointed Special Advocate” and Cheerleading Coach for Pop Warner. Nedra Deadwyler – Civil Bikes Nedra Deadwyler is the Founder and CEO of Civil Bikes an organization using Public History, Education, Preservation and is Anti-racist to create safe and inclusive spaces for people learn and evolve. She is a Licensed Master of Social Work from New York University and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Georgia. She is a Center for Civic Innovation Fellow 2018. She published chapter, Civil Bikes: embracing Atlanta’s racialized history through bicycle tours. (Routledge, 2016, Bicycle Justice and Urban Transformation: Biking for All? Edited by A. Golub, M.L. Hoffmann, A. E. Lugo, and G. F. Sandoval). Whose Bike Lanes, a book review of Melody L. Hoffmann, "Bike Lanes Are White Lanes: Bicycle Advocacy and Urban Planning." She has presented conferences. Sally Eggleston – Horizon Theatre Company SALLY EGGLESTON (Managing Director) joined Horizon in 2019, bringing three decades of administrative experience in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors, along with stage management experience in regional theatre. After training at Penn State’s College of Arts and Architecture, Ms. Eggleston began a decade of stage managing in Houston, Texas, regional theatres. She also completed one season at The American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. Shifting into the corporate and nonprofit sectors, she was director of corporate

communications for a AGL Resources (a Fortune 1000 energy company in Atlanta) where she oversaw a complete brand overhaul spread across five states. She most recently served as director of marketing and donor relations for Senior Connections, a 45-year old senior services agency. She formerly served on the boards of the DeKalb Library Foundation and Park Pride. Nisa Floyd – Atlanta Contemporary As Executive Assistant at Atlanta Contemporary, Nisa Floyd supports the day-to-day operating and administrative efficiencies to the staff. Nisa joined Atlanta Contemporary in July 2019 and created an ongoing critique program - Contemporary Critique, which allows local artists to engage in discourse led by selected independent curators. Previously, Nisa served as the Programs Coordinator of Montessori School at Emory from 2017-2019, where she restored the arts and culture curriculum to the elementary enrichment program. Nisa received a bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University in English with a concentration in creative writing and a minor in French. She is currently working on a mixed-media project that explores intergenerational trauma and the archiving of fragmentary narratives of black expression. Nisa is passionate about utilizing public spaces to tackle complex social challenges related to scarcity of resources, mental illness, social isolation, and genuine cultural competence that is not enforced because of capitalistic pursuits but instead because of the inherent humanness of others. Fredalyn Frasier – Central Atlanta Progress Fredalyn currently serves a Project Director for Planning and Urban Design with Central Atlanta Progress and the Atlanta Downtown Improvement District. Her role includes standing up the newly created Arts and Entertainment District for Downtown as well as managing the Design Review process for SPI-1 District, and urban planning initiatives. Fredalyn has over fifteen years of private sector experience along with public sector experience in urban planning strategies, intergovernmental relations, community development and transportation research experience at the university level. "As an urban planner, I have worked with communities of every demographic blend through thoughtful engagement, analytical insight, and organizational skills, which inform my professional and personal dedication to meaningful civic engagement. I look forward to absorbing all ALMA has to offer, discover more about our rich creative spirit, and use this valuable experience to elevate the art community and the vibrancy of Downtown Atlanta all while making new friends." Brian Gamel – Elm Street Cultural Arts Village Brian works as the Production Manager at Elm Street Cultural Arts Village in Woodstock, GA. He is involved with every theatrical production, and works on booking and presenting guest musicians from all across the globe as part of the Lantern Series. David Giguere – Atlanta Regional Commission Professionally, I am a geospatial technology expert with experience across desktop, server, mobile and online geospatial platforms. My interests include organizing a series of regional film screenings for independent adventure travel filmmakers, developing proof of concept applications using projection mapping and virtual/augmented reality technologies, creating a route and community for off-pavement vehicle travel across North Georgia, and exploring the intersection of digital and analog technology.

Clifton Guterman – Producer/Director/Casting Director/Actor Clifton Guterman is a producer, director, casting director, actor, teacher, and member of the Atlanta theatre community since 2001. He formerly served as the Alliance’s Artistic Assistant, as Casting Director and National New Play Network Producer in Residence at Actor’s Express, where he is an Associate Artist and Teaching Artist, and as the Associate Artistic Director of Theatrical Outfit, where he served for eight seasons. A member of the Advisory Committee for The Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards (The Shulers), Clifton also sits on the Atlanta Area Actors’ Equity Association Liaison Committee and is the Artistic Advisor for Audition Revolution. Clifton has directed locally with Theatrical Outfit, The Atlanta Opera, and Alliance Theatre. As an actor, he has appeared locally with Alliance Theatre, Actor’s Express, Dad’s Garage, Synchronicity, and Theatrical Outfit. Regional: Arena Stage, Berkeley Rep, California Shakespeare Theater, San Jose Rep, Weston Playhouse, Barrington Stage, and The O’Neill Center. He has appeared in numerous Atlanta-shot films, TV shows, commercials, and industrials and is represented by Houghton Talent. Education: BA in Drama, University of Georgia; MFA in Performing Arts, Savannah College of Art and Design. Clifton is from Iron City, a blink-and-you-will-miss-it town in southwest-GA. He and his husband Chad live in Cabbagetown and are obsessed with their two Schnauzers. Laura Heiman – United Way of Greater Atlanta Laura Heiman currently serves as a Community Engagement Project Manager for United Way of Greater Atlanta. She runs United Way’s InForum Breakfast series, which invites movers and shakers across Atlanta’s nonprofit, public, and philanthropic sectors to learn together from thought-provoking national and local experts. She also co-leads a capacity building roundtable for leaders of collective impact initiatives called CoLabs, and supports other projects that power the Child Well-Being movement. Before United Way, Laura worked for Fernbank Museum of Natural History. She has a background in museums, history, and archives, and earned a Masters of Arts in Public History from American University. Laura recently completed board service for the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Atlanta, where she helped to run a microgrant program that enabled young leaders to access professional development opportunities. She has been a resident of Metro Atlanta for the past five years. When not working she can generally be found crafting, reading, or enjoying some Butter & Cream ice cream with her husband. Robert Herrig – Aerotropolis Atlanta Alliance I am a native of metro Atlanta and have lived here most of my life, growing up in the Fernbank neighborhood between the city limits of Atlanta and Decatur. I attended the Paideia School, which remains a big part of my community, and went on to the University of Georgia where I studied French and Philosophy and played ultimate frisbee. After college, I went on to get a Master of Public Policy at Georgia State, where I became increasingly intrigued by the ways our city makes plans and develops and the ways it does not. Before graduating, I took a position at the Atlanta Regional Commission in the Community Development group, riding MARTA every day for the next 4 years and loving it. In July, I accepted an opportunity with the Aerotropolis Atlanta Alliance working to attract quality investment around the airport, and now commute alone in a car. I forever love Atlanta--for its music, its food, and its people. I reside in Gresham Park with my partner and spend a lot of time sweeping the floors of our German Shepherd's hair, watching Jeopardy, and growing one handful of blueberries a year.

Julia Hill – Sculpture Things Julia Hill is an artist and business owner in Atlanta GA. She was born in New Orleans, LA. She studied sculpture at Tulane University and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2005. Julia’s studio practice incorporates many different genres, including performance, installation, puppetry, metal fabrication, carpentry, ceramics, drawing, and painting. Her large-scale puppets have been performed at The High Museum, The World of Coca-Cola, The Atlanta Zoo, The Hambidge Center, The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, and numerous regional parades and festivals. In addition to her studio pursuits, Julia Hill works as an art consultant and director, designing and constructing physical components for other artists, events, and productions. She enjoys collaboration, and incorporates a passion for facilitating artistic visions. Through all endeavors, the goal is exploring and expanding creativity with humans of all ages. Anne Irwin – Anne Irwin Fine Art You might say I am a serial entrepreneur. My little red wagon was full of comic books and I wound my way around the neighborhood selling to my friends, I guess I was around 6 at the time. I attended the University of Oregon where I made jewelry and sold to stores to provide for extra cash. Moving to Atlanta, with a husband in graduate school helped me launch a graphic design business that eventually transitioned into selling art at home shows, where it quickly grew into a gallery. it's been over 30 year adventure, and I love every minute. Maybe the most rewarding aspect of my work is helping young artists navigate their way through this maze called the art world. I so look forward to learning and growing in my understanding of all the wonderful, unique and incredible aspects of this rich and unique arena. Shelbia Jackson – Decide DeKalb Entertainment Commission Shelbia Jackson currently is the Director managing DeKalb County’s TV/Film, Music and Digital Entertainment Office also known as the DeKalb Entertainment Commission, which is the primary driving force attracting and expanding businesses supporting the film, television, music and digital entertainment industry in DeKalb County. She is responsible for the coordination of all TV/Film projects produced in unincorporated DeKalb County as well as the facilitation of film permits from its 13 cities and unique communities. She also oversees the implementation of the DeKalb Entertainment Strategic Plan that outlines the collaborative, supportive infrastructure stimulating the growth and success of creative ventures in film, television, music and digital entertainment. Shelbia has helped facilitate the production of more than 500 film projects in DeKalb County. A few of these critically acclaimed projects include Bad Boys 3, Waldo, The Passage, MacGyver, The Mule, Teenage Bounty Hunters, Green Leaf, Black Lightning, Love Craft Country, Ozark, Star Girl, Dynasty, Legacies, Stranger Things, Lodge 49 and American Soul. She collaborates with strategic partners such as the Georgia Film, Music & Digital Entertainment Office, the Association of Film Commissioners International, Atlanta Film Society, the ten entertainment organizations that comprise the DeKalb Entertainment Commission as well as other counties, regional, state, and national partners including DeKalb’s 11 entertainment studios. Lisa Kiely – YMCA Lisa Kiely, BFA, CPT, CAD, CEHA, is associate executive director of Cowart Family YMCA and founder of Monarch Collaborations, both in Atlanta, Georgia. Kiely believes in being "exclusively inclusive" and is focused on bringing people of all ages and abilities together through the Arts and Civic Engagement. An ICAA Champion for the Changing the Way We Age® Campaign, Kiely has more than 30 years of experience in the field of gerontology. She previously worked as director of enrichment for Lenbrook life-plan community and consulted on retirement community life services and whole-person wellness programs for Life Care Services (LCS) and its multiple senior living communities. During her tenure with LCS, she served as director of wellness and community life services for one of its largest continuing care retirement communities, Park Springs. Kiely holds a bachelor of fine arts degree in drawing and painting and a minor in gerontology. She is a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor, certified activity director and certified Eden at Home associate. Kiely recently attained the Leadership in Wellness Management certificate through ICAA Education Stephe Koontz – City of Doraville Stephe Koontz has lived in Doraville for over 30 years. Realizing the city was at a pivotal point, she decided this was the right time to take her long history of community involvement and venture into the political realm. She was elected to city council in 2017 and is proud to be the first openly transgender elected official in the state of Georgia. A former small business owner, she is a charter member of the Doraville Kiwanis Club and has served on the Board of Directors at the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta. She has been given multiple awards for her Diversity and Inclusion work, and most recently has focused on bring the Arts front and center in Doraville. She hopes to bring back to her city what she learns from being in this program. Nathan Koskovich – Koskovich Architecture, LLC Chair of the Architecture and Design Center, Founded in 2012, the Architecture & Design Center is an independent, non-profit cultural organization dedicated to bringing together architecture and design professionals and aficionados to promote high quality design and connect Atlanta’s design culture to the world. AIA Member, Architect, Principal Koskovich Architecture. Miranda Kyle – Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. Miranda Kyle is the Program Manager of Arts and Culture for Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) and curates the annual Art on the Atlanta BeltLine Public Art Exhibition. Since her appointment in 2017, Kyle has restructured ABI’s Public Art Program, managed an NEA Our Town grant to create and implement an Arts and Culture Strategic Implementation Plan, and overseen the commissioning of hundreds of art activations along the corridor. She supports ABI’s department of Design and Construction to incorporate art into park and trail design, engage developers to consider public art in their construction, and advise on secondary design elements like benches and future transit stops. Additionally, Kyle works on interdepartmental collaborations with Community Engagement and Planning by managing relationships with outside arts organizations and institutions. She ensures the local creative community is integrated into the

Kyle holds an MFA in Sculpture from the Savannah College of Art and Design, and an MA in Painting and Drawing from the Edinburgh College of Arts. She was awarded the 2013 Lee Kimche McGrath Fellowship for Arts & Sciences for her research in utilizing 3D printing technologies within traditional foundry practices, and in 2014 she was awarded the StarSeed Fellowship to research the intersection of Public Art, Performance and Space in Riga and Pedvale, Latvia. She has curated exhibitions locally and internationally over the last ten years, ranging in disciplines from performance to public art. Todd Lamkin – Emory University / Michael C. Carlos Museum Todd Lamkin has served as Director of Collections Services and Chief Registrar at the Michael C. Carlos Museum of Emory University since 2011, serving previously as its Registrar from 2000-2011. He facilitates meetings and workflow for the museum's collections management team of conservators, art-handlers, and registrars and directly supervises the museum's Collections Services Office which cares for the museum's artwork collection of more than 25,000 objects, its collection's records, artwork imaging, rights and reproductions, collections management databases, and online exhibits platforms. Todd manages legal and logistics for the museum's collections and exhibitions including insurance and indemnity, contracts, packing and crating design, transportation, and customs. Todd was previously Registrar at the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum in Palm Beach, Florida and Curatorial Assistant at the Maxwell Museum of Anthropology, University of New Mexico. He received his MA in Anthropology from the University of New Mexico and his BA in International Studies from American University. Jennie Lobato – drawchange It all began with three passions: art, children, and helping others. After receiving a General Fine Arts degree from the distinguished Maryland Institute, College of Art, Jennie, the founder and CEO of drawchange, proceeded to work in the Advertising industry for 10 years. After about 6 years into her advertising career she realized that her passion had evolved and she desired to help others. Contemplating on what her passions in life were, she took the leap and started drawchange, a 501c3 nonprofit organization that aids impoverished children through the use of art. About to embark its eleventh year, drawchange continues to be a beacon of hope for over 2,000 children annually both overseas and in the U.S. Jennie lives her truth and passion every day through drawchange and is loving every minute of it! www.drawchange.org Indira Londono – Coxe Curry & Associates Indira Londono has dedicated most of her life to empowering underserved communities. Her career has involved working with a diverse set of nonprofits; from the arts and advocacy to scientific research, Indira has made it her mission to uplift her organizations’ constituents through education and active participation. A native of New York City, Indira relocated to Atlanta in 2016 via Yucatan, Mexico, where she was the creative mind and Executive Director behind Fundación de Artistas. Through the foundation, she established a unique, inclusive arts environment never before seen in the Yucatan through engaging arts programs and civic education. Indira is currently a Senior Campaign Manager with Coxe Curry & Associates. There, she uses her proven track record of success in developing donors and building strategic partnerships to help nonprofit clients attract the resources they need to accomplish their missions. Stephen McRae – Atlanta Emerging Markets, Inc. Stephen McRae is the President of Atlanta Emerging Markets, Inc. In this position, Stephen is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the organization’s small business lending programs and $258 million New Markets Tax Credits loan portfolio. Ethan Messere – South Arts Ethan Messere is the Assistant Director of Presenting & Touring at South Arts, a regional nonprofit arts organization. He administers professional development programming for performing arts programmers who are new to the field, provides technical assistance for South Arts’ grants programs, and is active in the organization’s work in modern and contemporary dance. In this role, he was formerly responsible for registration and artist showcases for South Arts’ booking conferences. Ethan holds a Masters of Music in Orchestral Performance from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in music performance from Syracuse University. Prior to his work in arts administration, he worked as a freelance trumpet player in Atlanta and in his home region of Upstate New York. A lifelong fan of all things basketball, Ethan cheers on the Syracuse Orange whenever he can. Sharon Moskowitz – Conant Perfroming Arts Center / srmART Connect Sharon Moskowitz has been a proud “Atlantan” from her college years and then returning to live and start her career in the corporate, non-profit events and hospitality industry. She has been non-stop in every facet of the industry for over 28 plus years. A pinnacle point of her early career when hired as first Special Events Manager at Fernbank Museum of Natural History in Atlanta. She has had the good fortune to be part of some of the largest events in the city of Atlanta’s history ~ 1996 Summer Olympic Games, Super Bowl & The Final Four. Arts advocacy and supporting not-for-profit arts organizations elevated when raising her family in Roswell, where she was appointed by Mayor and Council as Chair for the cultural arts board. Its mission to create inclusion of all arts groups and integrate the positive economic impact on a community due to the arts and cultural landscape. Since 2011, Sharon was brought on as the Director of Special Events at her Alma Mater, Oglethorpe University. Then transitioned in 2015, to Managing Director of the Conant Performing Arts Center. Responsible for educational and collaborative partnerships. Sharon also started a small organization, srmART Connect, cultivation of arts in events as well as curating , coaching and supporting emerging and multi-level artists. Sharon is married to her college sweetheart, together they have three daughters, two son-in-laws, a precious grandson with another granddaughter on its way. Jill Nash Malool – Center for Puppetry Arts Jill Nash Malool joined the Center for Puppetry Arts staff as Grants Manager in 2015 and was promoted to Museum Director in 2018. She is responsible for the oversight of the entire Museum branch of the Center which includes programming, exhibitions, preservation, conservation, and museum store sales. She recently co-curated the award winning exhibition

Jim Henson’s the Dark Crystal: World of Myth and Magic and is currently working on an overview of puppetry in advertising. Prior to her time at the Center she served as Educator for the Kansas Cosmosphere, in Hutchinson, KS; Director of Education for Historic Spanish Point in Osprey, FL; Director of Education for the Arts & History Museums Maitland, FL; and as Communications Manager for the Southeastern Museums Conference. Nash Malool has served on the board of the Florida Association of Museums Foundation; reviewed grants for the Florida State Division of Cultural Affairs and Fulton County Arts and Cultural Affairs; and presented on a variety of topics from management to adult programming at professional conferences. Originally from the Midwest, Nash Malool loves being a part of Atlanta’s arts community and has been proud to call this city home since 2013. Kristen Ramsey – Kristen Ramsey Art I am a self-taught, working artist based in Smyrna. My primary art medium is wood cutouts and paint, which I use to create brightly colored folk/pop-art style pieces with inspiring messages. I sell my original artwork via Etsy, at art shows & festivals, and my wholesale line is sold at about 18 stores throughout the US. I also hand paint small and large-scale signs, create chalk art, and paint murals. I helped form Indie Arts Alliance in Smyrna in 2017. Our goal is to create a community of artists and art supporters in our city that work together to promote the arts and create opportunities for artists to show and sell their work. We have hosted multiple art shows, handmade markets, community art events, and a “Midsummer Night Faire” that included fire performers, fire sculptures, aerial performers, and an artist’s market. We also hosted a chalk art festival & lantern parade and worked with a local business to create a large public art piece, the Smyrna Jonquil City mural, that I had the privilege of painting. I’m looking forward to meeting more art-minded individuals and learning more about how to promote and encourage the arts in my community! Emily Saccenti – Atlanta Botanical Garden Emily Saccenti is a project manager with over 15 years experience working on special exhibitions. Currently, Emily is the Exhibitions Project Manager at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. Prior to that Emily worked for nearly a decade at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Emily holds a B.A. in Art History from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and is a 2016 graduate of the Getty Leadership Institute’s NextGen program. Ghila Sanders – Roswell Arts Fund Ghila Sanders is the new Executive Director of Roswell Arts Fund. Experienced in operations leadership and strategic planning in cultural institutions, Ghila brings a deep passion for community engagement and art-based placemaking to her role, and is focused on making the City of Roswell a destination for the arts. Born and raised in Rome, Italy, she holds a JD from Universita’ di Roma “La Sapienza” and an MBA from Georgia State University. Before joining the Roswell Arts Fund, Ghila was at the Breman Museum, where she served in several capacities, ultimately leading operations as Interim Executive Director. During her tenure, she was instrumental in the creation of a strong vision for the organization, leveraging expanded programming with a collaborative approach,

Ghila is actively engaged in several community organizations, including Congregation Shearith Israel, New American Pathways, Furnish with Love and the Museum of Southern Jewish Experience. Ghila lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband David, their three children and two dogs. Joel Silverman – Skychief Media, LLC Veteran advertising photographer Joel Silverman is an adjunct Professor of Photography and Film Studies at Emory University. Joel’s large-scale fine art photographs of Southeastern mountains and caves are held in many private collections and appear in The Economist, People, and Atlanta Magazine. He is known for shooting the Georgia on My Mind state tourism campaign along with ads for Georgia Pacific, Atlanta Botanical Garden, Kroger, and Dunkin’ Donuts. His fine art is represented by the Jenny Jensen Minkewicz Gallery. He has also taught at Portfolio Center and Creative Circus ad schools and has served as a national officer of the Advertising Photographers of America. He is an urban chicken farmer in Candler Park. Tyree Smith – W.O.L.F. Idea Group/ARTlanta Gallery A recent graduate of the Regional Leadership Institute’s Class of 2019, Tyree Smith is a father, Creative entrepreneur, experienced event coordinator, community activist and proud 20-year resident of Atlanta Georgia. As an event coordinator, Tyree has over a decade of programming experience, planning and executing more than 200 events throughout Metro Atlanta, including 2018s inaugural ARTlanta Fair which saw more than 5000 people. As CEO of the W.O.L.F. (We Only Live For) Ideas Group, a Creative consultant company that specializes in using Creative placemaking and tactical urbanism, Tyree and his dedicated team have founded several award-winning galleries and event spaces throughout this city including the extremely popular ARTlanta Gallery, and StAined Gallery inside of historic Fort McPherson. Tyree and his W.O.L.F. Ideas Group team already have some pretty major projects in the works for 2020 including working with real estate investors to open an ARTs centric park in SW Atlanta called Big Oak Park, this year’s ARTlanta Fair and the transitioning of ARTlanta Gallery into the ARTlanta Creative Workforce Academy. A space that will be dedicated to giving Creatives in this city and beyond, the work and life skills sets needed for long term success. Tyree also currently sits on En Route; MARTAs public Arts council and is the vice chair of the Fort McPherson Public Arts Advisory Committee.  George Staib – Emory University / staibdance George Staib is an Iranian-born Armenian who's choreographic work is rooted in the multi-cultural impact of his family’s immigration to the United States in 1977. In 2001, Staib joined the Emory University Dance Faculty and in 2007, he founded staibdance (501©3) to provide a conduit for adventurous dance-making, cultural exchange and educational outreach. Staib has been the recipient of awards, citations and commissions both nationally and internationally. In addition, he is a two time recipient of Emory University’s highly competitive and prestigious Winship Award; affording him the opportunity to study contemporary dance practices in Israel, England and Australia. Now in its 11th year, the staibdance two-week intensive in Southern Italy unites 40 artists and educators from across the globe to embrace creative collaboration and

Staib and his company are dedicated to remaining at the forefront of interactive and relevant dance-making and movement education by engaging community and embracing inclusivity. Staib also serves as a Regional Director for the American College Dance Association, is a contributing writer to ArtsATL, and serves as an educator for ImmerseATL. Dave Stevens – Board member for Out of Hand Theater After a long career in what was once called "television" production I now devote my time to creating and supporting the Arts. My wife Donna Willis and I have supported new plays and playwrights for many years through the boards of Actor's Express Theatre and the National New Play Network. This year I was pleased to join the board of Out Of Hand Theater whose mission of using theatre to spark discussion of social justice is gaining traction throughout the Metro area. Listening and learning to widen the theatre's reach and impact is my goal in the ALMA meetings in the coming year. Though I continue to paint, Stone Sculpting has become my favorite creative outlet. I especially enjoy the non-digital aspect of carving on a very solid object. I have two grown daughters; one a talented Printmaker in Atlanta, the other an environmental activist Attorney now in Vermont. I'm honored to have earned two U.S. patents for pioneering work in Internet Streaming and two Emmy awards for excellence in field Sound Recording. Allison Stewart-Harris – VHB Allison is a community planner with 15 years of experience on the consulting side of the field. Born in Seattle and raised in State College, PA, she lived in a variety of places—ranging from West Palm Beach to Buenos Aires to Philadelphia—before landing in Atlanta in 2012. Allison has a passion for heritage and the arts, particularly in how communities can express their local history and culture through infrastructure projects. She is a self-styled history and writing nerd, and enjoys writing narrative non-fiction in her free time. With her four year-old son in tow, Allison also likes to explore the unique nooks of our region, especially places where arts and the outdoors converge like the Doll’s Head Trail at Constitution Lakes and Abernathy Greenway in Sandy Springs. Currently she is a senior planner with the planning and engineering firm VHB, where she focuses on the intersection between land use, transportation, and economic development. Averil Taylor – Atlanta Music Project I am a freelance trumpeter, recording artist, conductor, educator, contractor, and Atlanta Federation of Musicians Executive Board Member. I grew up in DeKalb County, GA, received a BA in Music from Clark Atlanta University, and an MA in Music from Georgia State University. I perform with the group the Atlanta Showstoppers, and a horn section named Hard Hittin Hornz. We recorded on the Grammy Nominated song Bigger Than Me, and several other records. I serve as conductor for the Atlanta African American Jazz Orchestra. I am a former Middle School Band Director at Tucker Middle School in DeKalb County. I now serve as Manager of Primary Orchestras at the Atlanta Music Project. We empower underserved youth to realize their possibilities through music. As a contractor, I source the top musical talent in Atlanta for performances, recording sessions, productions, movies, and television shows taking place in Atlanta. Some recent examples are scenes in BET's show Boomerang, and Coming To America II. I serve the Atlanta Federation of Musicians as a new Executive Board Member. We are

revitalizing the AFM in Atlanta. Part of our strategy is to provide support to musicians in Atlanta in the form of activities like free workshops, low cost rehearsal space, etc. in our Union hall. Ellie Tsuchiya – Metro Atlanta Chamber Ellie Tsuchiya is an Associate Project Manager for the Metro Atlanta Chamber’s (MAC) Economic Development team. In this role, Ellie focuses on recruiting new companies and supporting existing companies in expansion efforts within the 29-county metro Atlanta region. Ellie also focuses on cultivating relationships with local and regional economic development partners along with the real estate community, Georgia Department of Economic Development, Georgia Power, the Atlanta Regional Commission and many others. Ellie has a personal interest in the arts through her love for dancing and art. She studied ballet for 4 years before transitioning to contemporary and jazz dance and now tap dancing. She dabbles in art projects some of which have included watercolor painting, block printing, and mixed media. She hopes to combine her love for arts and culture with her work in economic development by advocating for and ultimately growing the arts and culture community in Metro Atlanta. Ellie is a graduate from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. degree in Economics. She spent an exchange year at Waseda Univeristy in Japan earning a minor in Japanese. Sarah Wallis – Alliance Theatre Sarah Wallis currently serves as Teen & Adult Programs Manager for the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia. Through this role, she works to plan and put into motion classes, camps, outreach programs and education productions for students grades 6-12 and adults both at the Alliance Theatre at out in the greater Atlanta community. A favorite current project is the development of a theatre piece with the Alliance Theatre Teen Ensemble that will include performance and community dialogue around the theme of the civil rights movement & specifically the famous lunch counter sit-ins to engage families and teens with the Alliance Theatre and High Museum of Art’s picture book artist collaboration in summer of 2020. Sarah has a BFA in Performing Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design and, in addition to her work in the Alliance Theatre’s education department, she continues to work as an actor and all around theatre artist here in the Atlanta area. C-A Washington – Image & Etiquette Institute C-A Washington is an active community member in the greater metro Atlanta area. Today, she serves as the Marketing Chair and a board member of the DeKalb Symphony Orchestra, Docent Board member at the High Museum of Art, and Board Bank committee member with the Junior League of Atlanta. She is also a recent graduate of the ARC’s Regional Leadership Institute. C-A is a native of St. Louis, Missouri, where institutions such as the Saint Louis Art Museum (SLAM), St. Louis Zoo, and Muny Theatre all offered free and low-cost programming that allowed her to engage with the arts at a very young age consistently. With much gratitude for these opportunities, C-A remains committed to ensuring that both patron and artist feel welcome at the numerous intersections of art and public spaces as real estate pricing, land values, and income disparities continue to grow throughout the metro area. Ansley Whipple – Central Atlanta Progress Ansley Whipple is the Project Manager for Woodruff Park—a six-acre park in the heart of

She develops and implements programming and creative placemaking as well as oversees park operations and has extensive experience as a social impact designer, strategist, communications expert, storyteller, researcher, and fundraiser. Ansley received a MA in the History of Design and Curatorial Studies from Parsons The New School for Design and a BS in Industrial Design from Georgia Institute of Technology. Previous positions include: Assistant Executive Director of the Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator at Pratt Institute, Foundation Programs Director at Worldstudio, Assistant Director if Exhibitions at AIGA/NY, and Director of Operations at the Museum of Design Atlanta. D Patton White – Beacon Dance D. Patton White has worked as a dancer, choreographer and arts administrator since 1982, focusing on site-specific work since 1991, and dance for the camera since 1996. Named Artistic Director of Beacon Dance since 1990, he has sought innovative ways to bring art to the public. He has created site works in East Atlanta, throughout DeKalb County parks and nature centers, the High Museum of Art, the Woodruff Arts Center, in nightclubs, in the former Sears building on Ponce de Leon, in Freedom Park, at the Atlanta Contemporary Arts Center, at the B Complex in southwest Atlanta, on the Emory University Campus, and most recently on the Atlanta Beltline. White is also teaches part time at Emory University and is a free-lance performing artist and choreographer. He has been an artist in residence at UNLV, Rice University, and Emory University. He has conducted numerous community residencies and his work has been funded by the NEA, South Arts, GCA, Florida Council on Arts & Culture, among others. He has been a member of Alternate ROOTS since 1997, serving in various leadership positions on the ROOTS Executive Committee, and he has served on numerous Boards of Directors. Hannah White – High Museum of Art Hannah White is the Manager of Donor Relations and Special Projects at the High Museum of Art. A native of Gwinnett County, she moved to Searcy, Arkansas to study History at Harding University. Hannah returned to Atlanta to begin her career with Public Broadcasting Atlanta, a local affiliate of NPR and PBS. At PBA, she focused on Individual Giving, co-managing annual pledge drives and membership campaigns. There, she also participated in the Facebook Membership Accelerator Program, a series of seminars with a bootcamp-style curriculum designed to assist non-profit news organizations in building sustainable membership models through a curated online presence and strategic outreach. Her life-long passion for non-profit work and museums led her to her current position at the High in May of 2019. Ultimately, Hannah is working towards a career at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, TN. Dean Williams – DeKalb School of the Arts Dean Williams has been a dancer, teacher, choreographer and part of the Atlanta area dance scene since 1987. He graduated from the University of Iowa with BA in Dance and joined the Carl Ratcliff Dance Theater in September of 1987. Mr. Williams was a founding member of GardenHouse Dance Company under the direction of Nicole Livieratos from 1992-2002. Other performance credits include, Lee Harper and Dancers, Guest artist with the Atlanta Ballet, Dancer/Choreographer for Atlanta Opera, and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Young Audience Series. Mr. Williams was Resident Choreographer and Assistant Director for Capital City Ballet under the direction of Kathryn McBeth from 1995-2000. In 2000, Mr. Williams became a dance instructor at DeKalb School of the Arts (DSA), and in 2006 became the department director. He teaches ballet (Ceccehetti-based) Modern (Horton-based) and (Limón-based) and Introduction to Dance. Classes also include: dance vocabulary, dance history, anatomy/kinesiology, and composition and choreography. Mr. Williams has

choreographed nearly 40 works for the annual dance concerts and for DSA’s dance touring group, Dance Repertory Company. He has also choreographed for DSA’s show choirs and choreographed all the Spring musicals for the last 20 years and has been lead director on 7. Cleta Winslow – City of Atlanta During her tenure as a Councilmember, Cleta Winslow has garnered praise for her efforts to revitalize the historic neighborhoods that comprise District 4. Cleta graduated from Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in social work. She received her master's degree from the Clark Atlanta University School of Social Work. Professionally, Cleta has worked at the Carrie-Steele-Pitts Children's Home and served as housing director for the Atlanta Urban League. She also worked for the City of Atlanta as a Human Service Planner and as a Neighborhood Planning Unit (NPU) coordinator in the Bureau of Planning. In addition to her elected duties, Cleta spends much of her time as a community activist. She is a former leader of the West End Neighborhood Development Organization. She also initiated a youth scholarship program for college-bound students and a youth leadership project that focuses on community service. For her extensive volunteer work, Atlanta Public Schools awarded her the A.P.P.L.E. Corps award, the highest honor given by the city's public schools. Cleta has been cited for other national awards, including the Outstanding Public Service Award from the National Association of Neighborhoods in 1991 and 1992. She was also recognized as an Outstanding Young Woman of America. Cleta was president of the National Association of Neighborhoods, a grassroots organization that works to improve the quality of neighborhood life and promote social and economic development. She also served on the board of the Metropolitan Atlanta Olympic Games Authority, the state's oversight committee for the 1996 Olympics. Cleta served as a member of the Police Pension Board, Charter Review Committee and as a representative to the National League of Cities. Winslow serves as a board member of Comcare Housing and the Atlanta Urban League. She is also actively involved with the Georgia Women's Political Caucus, the Atlanta Urban League and the League of Women Voters Sara Womack – Atlanta Public Schools In her third year as the Fine and Performing Arts Coordinator for Atlanta Public Schools (APS), Sara Womack is creating an arts-rich district with arts-rich schools by providing opportunities for student engagement, building the capacity of teachers, and partnering with community organizations to ensure that all students have access to a high-quality, sequential arts education. Before journeying into administration, Dr. Womack served as an elementary music teacher in metro Birmingham, as well as an adjunct professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), for 15 years. She earned a BS in music education, MA in music education, and MA in instructional leadership from UAB and a Doctor of Education degree in music education from the University of Georgia. Dr. Womack achieved National Board Certification in early and middle childhood music and currently serves as Immediate Past President of the
