About ArtsAccessThe purpose of the ArtsAccess Program is to make the arts available to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. We want to eliminate the financial barrier that prevents families and individuals from experiencing our city’s vibrant and diverse arts scene. Inclusion in arts events builds communities, inspires creativity, and increases understanding of different stories and viewpoints. In addition, exposure to the arts, early and often, builds future audiences, strengthening the economy and culture of our city.

ArtsMemphis is working to sustain Memphis’ world-renowned cultural vitality and strengthen local communities through the arts. In fiscal year 2019, we awarded over 160 grants to more than 70 local arts groups and individual artists, totaling nearly $2.5 million in annual funding.

All of this is possible because of the support we receive from more than 1,600 generous donors. Gifts to ArtsMemphis support everything from local dance and theatre to museums and public art…not to mention film festivals, outdoor concerts, arts education, and more!

ArtsAccess CardHow to use your ArtsAccess Card+ To reserve tickets, call the organization offering the event.+ Claim your tickets using your ArtsAccess Card at least 20

minutes before the event.

Conditions+ You may reserve up to 4 tickets per family.+ You need your card to reserve and pick up your tickets, cards

are non-transferable.+ Organizations may check your ID and ArtsAccess Card.+ If you cannot attend an event, you must call the organization

to cancel your reservation.+ If you do not cancel your reserved tickets 48 hours prior to

the event, the organization is not obligated to provide youtickets in the future.

Notes+ Tickets for events are limited.+ Seats are not guaranteed for every performance.+ Events listed in this brochure are eligible for ArtsAccess

passes.+ Each participating organization may determine their own

70% of state arts funding comes from the sale of arts and collegiate license plates and now you can buy a GIFT-A-TAG voucher for the purchase of any of Tennessee’s Specialty License Plates. There are over 100 designs to choose from! GIFT-A-TAG vouchers are just $35 each, and you can buy as many as you want—for your family, friends or treat yourself. Each GIFT-A-TAG is good for the purchase of a Specialty License Plate or the personalization of any license plate.

Americans for the Arts - ACTION FundThe Arts Action Fund, a 501(c)(4) nonprofit membership organization affiliated with Americans for the Arts. They are the nation’s leading nonprofit organization for advancing the arts in America.
