Previously known as the William T. White, Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament, the American Cancer

Society Windy City Golf Open will celebrate its 38th anniversary in 2019 at North Shore Country

Club in Glenview, IL.

Golfers are able to play their own ball on North Shore Country Club’s golf course, ranked #18 in

Illinois by Golf Digest.

Sponsorships include:

• Green fees

• One caddie per foursome

• Cart

• Contest Package for each golfer ($200 value)

• Access to the driving range and putting green

• Buffet lunch

• Cocktail reception with heavy hors d’oeuvres

• Player gift

• Opportunity to bid on our silent auction and participate in our raffle.

We anticipate that we will sell out and have a full course of golfers, so please do not delay signing

up your foursome.

History

In 1981, William T. White, Jr. initiated a community golf tournament to bring friends and family

together to raise funds to support the American Cancer Society. The tournament was named in

his memory after he lost his battle with leukemia in 1993 and remained so named through 2017.

After honoring longtime American Cancer Society volunteer Kathy Mignin in 2017, Bill and Susan

White and the Executive Committee agreed to change the name of the event going forward to

the American Cancer Society Windy City Golf Open to honor all of those currently fighting cancer

and memorialize those that lost their battle.

Sponsors are dedicated to maintaining a sustainable event for the American Cancer Society by covering the

expenses of essential elements. If you and your company are not able to attend the event or are not golfers, but

would like to support the American Cancer Society through the Windy City Golf Open, these opportunities could be

the perfect option for you!

By committing to sponsor a specific portion of the event, these sponsors will receive name recognition on the event

website and in the event program book. Additional recognition benefits are listed below by opportunity. These

specific sponsorship opportunities do not include individual spots and foursomes. Your sponsorship would be 100%

tax-deductible.
