Literature display—$350Provides an opportunity to display pamphlets, flyers, magazines, and any other free materials. Materials will be displayed at the start of the meeting and left out until supplies are exhausted. This is not designed for book sales or for other promotional sales. Literature displays alone do not provide complimentary registration to the Annual Meeting. If you would like to attend the Annual Meeting, you must register as an attendee.

Representatives of commercial companies may attend an educational activity, but they may not engage in sales activities while in the room where the educational activity takes place.

It is the policy of the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry that all participants, including attendees, vendors, and staff, conduct themselves in a professional manner that is welcoming to all participants. Participants should treat each other with mutual respect, well-being, and collegiality. All individuals agree to conduct themselves in a manner appropriate for healthcare professionals.

Participants will avoid any inappropriate actions or statements based on individual characteristics such as age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, nationality, political affiliation, ability status, educational background, or any other characteristic protected by law. Disruptive or harassing behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.

If an individual believes that this policy has been violated or breached, he/she shall notify AAAP staff to assist with the situation. AAAP reserves the right to remove meeting access for any individual violating this policy and will not provide a refund.

By registering for this meeting, you agree to abide by the Code of Conduct Policy as described above.

Our exhibitor space is located in a highly visible area. The exhibit hall will be open during designated times in the schedule for

exhibitors to be at their exhibit. Throughout the Annual Meeting, the exhibitor hall will be the primary location where refreshments are served and general traffic for the conference.

Shipping and Agreement Information

All materials shipped to the hotel should arrive no earlier than three days before the Annual Meeting (12/02/2019) and no later than the start of the Annual Meeting (12/05/2019).

Before exhibitors are approved, they are required to complete an Exhibitor Agreement. Exhibitors are expected to adhere to this Exhibitor Agreement throughout the conference.

Reserve a room online at the Rancho Bernardo Inn. The hotel conference rate is $219 (plus tax) per night for single/double occupancy rooms. There is NO

RESORT FEE! You may reserve a room online or call the Rancho Bernardo Inn at (800) 542-6096. (Note: the online system will only accept reservations that are within the contracted dates.) Guests requesting to extend their stay outside of the block must call reservations directly Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm at (800) 542-6096 to make arrangements. Indicate that you are with AAAP to receive the conference rate. If you need to cancel your reservation, you must do so 72 hours prior to your arrival date to avoid losing your deposit. The hotel’s check-in time is 4:00 pm and checkout is 11:00 am.

If you are flying into the area, we recommend using the San Diego International Airport.
