“The History of Hostetler Tables & Chairs is woven throughout four generations of the Hostetler family. What began decades ago continues today, and our hope is that you will recognize and appreciate all that we have accomplished in carrying on our family tradition in furniture making. Unique designs, crafted for comfort and style.

Our furniture is durable and beautiful, and made from the very best poly lumber in the industry. We utilize stainless steel hardware and solid components, including a brand new swivel design, which we are glad to say is manufactured in the U.S.A.!What you see in our furniture line is a rich heritage of experience and craftsmanship displayed in our truly innovative designs, which we believe are incomparable in this industry.

POLY LUMBER WHAT IS OUR POLY LUMBER MADE OF?

FEATURESHostetler Tables & Chairs uses the highest grade of poly lumber. Made of High-Density Polyethylene or HDPE, it has a wide array of benefits.

Among them are :

Smooth feel

Dense, durable material

Resists cracking, splitting, and mold

Very low maintenance (cleans up with non-abrasive soap & water)

UV stabilized color throughout the material which resists fading

Environmentally friendly product that is made from recycled plastic products

Comes in a wide variety of colors, from earthy woodtones to rich, dark hues and vibrant colors. * New for 2019 : WoodGrain Poly! (See Page 39)

WHAT IS OUR POLY LUMBER MADE OF? The Poly Lumber we use in making all of our quality hand-crafted furniture is made of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE). This is the raw material base used in the manufac-turing of all our raw lumber. HDPE makes up on average 96% of the product. The remaining 4% is colorant with Ultra-Violet inhibitors as well as blowing agents. There are absolutely no other products added into this lumber such as wood pulp, wood fiber or fiberglass.

The feed stock of HDPE that our lumber source incorporates into their product is currently derived from Wide-Spec material which is the off-spec / scrap material from refineries. All material that is used in their product would be landfill bound if not for companies like ourselves that can use this waste to make a useful, high quality, hand-crafted product. Hostetler Tables & Chairs indeed “ Thinks Green ”.

A continuous extrusion process is used to produce all our plastic lumber. The plastic pellets, colorant and foam are combinedbefore being fed into the extruder. Once this mix has been melted it flows thru dies that form the plastic into the desired size. These boards then travel through a series of cooling chambers and tanks before entering a saw that cuts it to length. The boards are then packaged on pallets for shipping . . . to us!

THE HOSTETLER DIFFERENCEQUALITY, DESIGN, & SERVICE

* You’ll see a very minimal amount of exposedhardware in our designs. In our Daisy Collection, Snuggle-Back Collection, & Comfy-Back Collection, most of the screws & bolts are hidden, which is vastly different from what you will see in most of our competitor’s products.

* At HTC, we custom shape the edges on each piece of poly lumber. We custom shape every single slat, from the seat to the back assembly all the way down to the legassembly. In contrast, our competetors typically construct their furniture using the Raw Poly Lumber as it comes with it’s original factory edges.

Our Woodland Rocker was designed back when we were

still working with wood. We made this rocker in hickory, oak, and cherry woods. Our Woodland Rockers have been a customer favorite for over 15 years and they are still our best-selling product. All of our Poly Furniture is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE).It contains an added UV protective agent that resists fading. It never requires painting or staining, and will not promote bacterial growth. This durablematerial also stands up to the harshest outdoor conditions, will not rot orsplinter, and is not affected by most corrosive substances.

In order to maintain the beauty of your furniture, clean it regularly with non-abrasive soap and water. Most colors require cleaning several times a year, however some colors such as white and other lighter colors may require more frequent cleaning. In the event that your furniture shows signs of heavy soil or stains, it also may be necessary to spray it with a non abrasive cleanser. You may then scrub it with a soft bristle brush or use a high-pressure power washer.*

* Pressures should not exceed 1500 psi, and you should always keep the spray nozzle no closer than 8” to 12” away from the surfaces. Finish up with a rinse of warm water.

Never place flower pots or any items on your furniture that will leave stains, and never place extremely hot items directly onto the furniture to avoid any possibility of melting.

The fasteners we use are all stainless steel and naturally resist corrosion, but use caution in extreme conditions such as coastal regions. We recommended that you regularly rinse it with fresh water to ensure the longevity of yourfurniture and fasteners.

HOSTETLER TABLES & CHAIRSCARE & MAINTENANCE

Hostetler Tables and Chairs warrants to the original purchaser that its polyethyleneoutdoor furniture products will be free of original defects in workmanship and materials fora period of twenty (20) years of residential use or five (5) years of commercial use unlessotherwise noted in this warranty. This warranty is effective starting on the date of purchase.

At it’s option, Hostetler Tables and Chairs will repair or replace this product without charge formaterials and labor, providing our inspection indicates that an original defect does exist.Should Hostetler Tables and Chairs choose to replace the product, and the product is nolonger available at the time warranty service is required, a substitution of similar performanceand equal or greater value will be made.

Polyethylene is a synthetic product and may scratch or fade slightly when exposed to sunlight, or stain after prolonged contact with other substances. Some expansion and contraction is also to be expected due to extreme changes in humidity and temperature. The aforementioned shall not be considered defects in materials or workmanship and are not covered under this warranty.

Stainless steel fasteners are warranted not to fail structurally for the applicable warranty period. Stainless steel may rust in certain extreme conditions (such as coastal areas) if not maintained.This warranty does not cover rusting fasteners or structural failure due to rusting fasteners, damage caused by unauthorized service or repair, alteration of this product, abuse or misuse, normal wear and tear on materials, or any attempt to use the product in a manner or for a purpose other than for which it is customarily intended.

This warranty also does not cover scratching or chipping of the polyethylene, however, thiswarranty shall not limit any warranties made by the manufacturer for such items whichmay extend to you.

Swivels are warranted not to fail structurally for five (5) years of residential use and five (5) years of commercial use.

Hostetler Tables and Chairs makes no warranties other than those which are specifically described herein. Some states do not allow limitations of implied warranty so this limitation may not apply to you. In that event, any such implied warranty is limited to that required by law.

The only remedy provided in this warranty is repair or replacement of this product. Any cost ofshipping and handling shall be paid by you.
