2 L O C A T E Y O U R H A L LUse the McKendree campus map tolocate your hall/area for move-in.Follow campus signage to your hall.
3 P I C K U P Y O U R K E Y SOnce you have arrived at your hall,please check in with the Residence Lifestaff to receive your keys, signpaperwork, and ask any additionalquestions.
4 C H E C K O U T Y O U R R O O MOnce you have your keys, locate yourroom and create a game plan forunloading/unpacking your belongings.
5 U N L O A D Y O U R V E H I C L EUnload your belongings from your vehicle inthe designated unloading zones. After youhave unloaded, please move your vehicle todesignated parking lots so others canunload. McK will have volunteers helpingyou unload your vehicle!

Label boxes/bins and all items withstudent's name, building & roomnumber (use the template providedon the housing assignments website)Remember that one person shouldstay with the vehicle at all times untilit is fully unloaded and moved to theproper parking locationWear comfortable clothes and shoesas you will have to park your vehiclein a further parking lot onceunloading is completedArrive on-time (plan for traffic andunloading time) so you can make itNSO check-in Know student ID number and bringstudent ID with you for check-in Know your health insuranceinformation for health insuranceinformation document that is filledout during check-in

LaundryMcKendree University offers laundry facilities in every building orarea. Laundry machines on main campus can be operated byquarters or an app. Machines in McKendree West only uses quarter operatedmachines for laundry facilities. 19 Meals per Week + $50 Flex Dollars = $2,500 a semester.
15 Meals per Week + $75 Flex Dollars = $2,275 a semester.
10 Meals per Week + $100 Flex Dollars = $1,990 a semester.
MEAL PLAN INFORMATION
DINING HOURS
Flex Dollars: Comes as part of meal plans and amount is dependent upon meal plan. They can be used in
Ames Dining hall for guests or when meals run out. Flex can also be used at 1828 Cafe.
Flex dollars expire at end of each semester.
Bogey Bucks (Munch Money): Can be purchased by anyone at the university (students without a meal plan,
commuters, faculty/staff and students who want to supplement their flex dollars). They roll over from fall to
spring semester but expire at the end of each academic year. for deposits over $100, a 10% bonus is added to
account. Bogey Bucks are loaded to ID card. can be used at Ames or 1828 Cafe. Can be added at
mckendree.sodexomyway.com or at any register in ames or 1828.
Bogey Bucks are also tax-free!
1828 Meal Exchange: Applies only to those with a 15 or 19 meal plan.
For students who cannot make it to Ames Dining Hall during regular lunch or dinner times, the 1828 Meal
Exchange can help. Meal exchange begins after Ames closes, so lunch is 1:30pm-3pm Monday-Friday and
dinner is 7pm-9pm Monday-Thursday in 1828 Cafe. During this time, those with a15 or 19 meal plan can use a
"meal swipe" instead of Flex Dollars or Bogey Bucks to order off the Meal Exchange menu.

The LairThe Lair is located underneath the McKendree Bookstore (next toBarnett Hall) and is a lounge for students to hang out, play gamesand socialize. Residence Hall Association (RHA) The McKendree Residence Hall Association (RHA) is aninclusive organization of student representativesworking together to create a sense of community oncampus through educational, service, and socialprogramming. RHA also provides leadership anddevelopment opportunities for members while workingto improve campus life. You can get involved by becoming a building orarea rep in the Fall!
