2019-20 HORN AUDITIONS 1. Prepare the first movement of a standard solo piece, like Strauss Concerto No. 1, any Mozart Concerto (no cadenza required), or Beethoven Sonata 2–3. New members: select two of the following excerpts: Tchaikovsky Symphony No. 5, second movement solo Beethoven Symphony No. 6, third movement (Horn in F), mm.132–161 Brahms Symphony No. 3, third movement (Horn in C), mm. 98- 110 (rehearsal F – 12 after F) 4.
