We start our vacation by boarding a Direct Flight to Beijing, the huge capital of China and an ancient city of great splendor whose history goes back 3 millennia.

After breakfast, we will transfer to Genghis Khan Statue Complex, the landmark of this complex is 40 meters (130 ft) tall Genghis Khan Equestrian Statue. It is the tallest and biggest stainless steel statue in the world. We can also walk up to the back of the horse to view the grassland. After that, we will take a day trip to Terelj National Park, the most popular destination and the third biggest protected area in Mongolia. Visitors can take leisurely strolls on meadows carpeted with edelweiss and a dazzling variety of other wild flowers, view fascinating rock formations against a backdrop of pine-covered mountains and wander along the wooded banks of a mountain stream. On the way, we will visit the Turtle Rock and Caves. In Terelj Park, we will enjoy the charming scenery of grassland, mountain, river and forest. Then we will go Horseback Riding and visit a Nomadic Family before driving back to Ulaanbaatar in the afternoon. Tonight, we will enjoy a special dinner - Mongolia Stone Roast Lamb.

After breakfast, we will visit Gautama Buddha Park. Gautama Buddha is also known as Shakyamuni Buddha, who is the founder of Buddhism. After that, we will drive to Zaisan Hill for a bird’s eye view of Ulaanbaatar. After visiting the Russian Red Army Memorial that honors Soviet soldiers killed in World War II, we will take a short flight to Hohhot. Founded by a Mongolian king in the sixteenth century Hohhot once belonged to the Mongol empire and is now the capital of Inner Mongolia. Upon arrival, we will enjoy our dinner before we transfer to the hotel.

Hohhot – BaotouDay 8**June 21 (B, L, D) After breakfast, we will go to Xilamuren Grassland in Baotou, the largest industrial city in Inner Mongolia. Meaning "yellow river" in Mongolian, the Xilamuren Grassland is the earliest grassland developed as a tourism attraction in Inner Mongolia. It covers an area of 1,000 square kilometers, with an altitude of 1,700 meters and is a typical plateau of grassland

Today we will take a city tour in Ulaanbaatar, the cultural, industrial, and financial heart of the country. We will visit the Gandan Monastery, the largest center of Mongolia Buddhism. It is Tibetan-style Buddhist Monastery. Its name means “the big place of the complete joy”. Many of the Bodhisattvas statues and images established in Gandan temple are of significance. Then we will visit the National Museum of Mongolia, is a cultural, scientific, and educational organization, which is responsible for the collection, conservation and interpretation of the objects under its creation. It is the first museum in Mongolia. Next, we will visit the Winter Palace of the Bogd Khan, the only one left of four residences of the eighth Jebtsundamba Khutughtu, who was later proclaimed Bogd Khan, or emperor of Mongolia. It is one of the few Mongolian historical attractions not which neither have been destroyed by the Soviets or the Communist Mongolians. Last, we will visit Sukhbaatar Square, the central square of Mongolia's capital Ulaanbaatar and State Parliament House. In the evening, we will be able to enjoy a Mongolia Folk Performance.

Arrive at Beijing International Airport. An Air & Sea travel representative will greet us and take us to the Temple of Heaven, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is widely regarded as the noblest example of religious architecture in all of China. Thisis where emperors came to worship heaven for a bountiful harvest. The design shows that heaven is high and the earth is low and reflects an ancient Chinese saying: 'the heaven is round and the earth is square’. Today’s lunch features a local specialty, Beijing Zha-jiang-mian. Then, we can explore the city or enjoy free time before checking into our hotel.

After breakfast, we can explore Beijing city on our own. In the afternoon, we will take a short flight to Chinggis Khaan International Airport in Ulaanbaatar. Ulaanbaatar means “the red hero” in English. It is the largest city and the capital of Mongolia. With a population just over 1.2 million, this municipality is not part of any province. Located in the north central part of the country, it lies at an elevation of about 1,310 meters (4,300 ft) in a valley on the Tuul River. Upon arrival, an Air and Sea Travel representative will greet and escort us to dinner before checking into our hotel.

Baotou – Ordos Day 9**June 22

(B, L, D) Upon arrival, take a bus to Ordos via Meidaizhao Village and Meidaizhao Lamasery. The lamasery (combination of a town and a temple) was built by Alatan Khan, chief of the Tumed Mongolian Tribe of the Ming Dynasty. The architecture is a mixture of Central Chinese style with Tibetan and Mongolian features. It was one of the most important centers for spreading Tibetan Buddhism in Inner Mongolia. Next, we will visit Resonant Sand Bay by Chairlift. This is a National4A-Grade Natural Scenic Area located in the east section of Kubuqi Desert, China's seventh largest desert. The sand makes a sound like an automobile or aircraft engine -- a natural phenomenon that nobody can explain. There are more exciting activities afterwards including: Camel ride, Mongolian-style Wedding Show, Sand-sculptures, and Train Ride in the Desert.

OrdosDay 10**June 23

(B, L, D) Inner Mongolia is the home of Genghis Khan (1162-1227), the Great Khan (Emperor) who founded the Mongol Empire, which became the largest contiguous empire in history after his death. He came to power by uniting many of the nomadic tribes of Northeast Asia and started the Mongol invasions that conquered most of Eurasia. By the end of his life, the Mongol Empire occupied a substantial portion of Central Asia and China. His Mausoleum, located about 71 miles south of Baotou, holds his clothing buried in his memory. This morning we will visit Genghis Khan’s Mausoleum. After lunch, we will visit Mongolian Cultural Industrial Park. This park represents cultural, tourism and film entertainment of Mongolia. This park is completely built according to different dynasties and constructed as a functioning village for filming dramas. We may be lucky and run into some actors and actresses, and scenes being filmed.

Hohhot – BeijingDay 12**June 25 (B, L) After breakfast, we will visit the Inner Mongolia Museum which offers an insight into the history and traditions of the Mongolian people with exhibits highlighting paraphernalia used by nomadic Mongols. Then, we will visit Qing General Office, which was set up to govern the northern part of China. Tonight, we will transfer to the Hohhot airport for our return flight home via Beijing.

Our flight to Honolulu leaves after midnight, ending our wonderful tour in China.We arrive at Honolulu on June 25 at approximately 5:30PM.

Ordos – Hohhot Day 11**June 24 (B, L, D) In the morning, we will drive back to Hohhot. Then, we will visit Milk Dairy Factory, one of the leading manufacturers of milk, yogurt and other dairy products in mainland China. After that, we will visit Dazhao Temple, the oldest and the largest Buddhist monastery in the city of Hohhot. It is also called the Silver Buddha Temple (Yinfo Si) because of an astounding 10-foot high silver statue of Sakyamuni Buddha among the temple’s many treasures. Dazhao also has an impressive collection of musical instruments and dragon sculptures related to Mongol legends. Tonight, we will enjoy the famous Mongolian Hotpot.

with a chain of undulating hills around it. Upon arrival, we will participate in the ceremony of “Dismount Wine”. We can learn about the modern Mongolian people’s lives from activities on the grassland. In the afternoon, we can watch The ThreeHeroic Mongolian Sports: wrestling, horse racing, and rodeo events. Tonight, we will taste the local specialty–MongolianBoiled Lamb, and enjoy the Bonfire Party with Mongolian songs and dances. In addition, we might have a chance to experience spending a night in the Chariot Yurts, an important means of transportation in Mongolia.
