STUDENT SPOTLIGHT:

ALIYAH CONYERS, GABUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

Over the years, Georgia Tech has provided me with countless opportunities that not only challenged but further inspired my desire to pursue an occupation within the health fi eld. The semester before my fourth year, I studied abroad in Madrid, Spain. In a setting that was completely different from familiarity, I gained a valuable global perspective while simultaneously widening my outlook for the future. This experience, in addition to many others, serves as a constant reminder as to why I chose Georgia Tech!

HANNAH MARIETTA, GABIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING

I started at Georgia Tech with the goal of gaining the knowledge and skills to become a great engineer. During my time here, I have learned not only what I need to achieve academic success, but also so much more. Through involvement in a variety of student organizations, I have developed into a confi dent leader, and I have had the chance to serve campus and the world around me. I have also created a supportive personal and professional network that I know will last me long after I graduate.

At Georgia Tech, I found open doors to anything I dreamed to learn and resources at every corner to guide me. Inside this diverse environment, I picked up unexpected skills and passions through my rigorous classes, internships at Fortune 500 companies, and interactions with peers and faculty. All these experiences allowed me to develop a unique, multidisciplinary skill set, fi t to solve the next big problems in my fi eld. As I start my fi rst job, I take with me a lifetime love of innovation and a fresh approach to problem-solving, all because of the opportunities I had at Georgia Tech.
