As the Wyoming Breast Cancer Initiative (WBCI) enters into our third year, we are so very grateful for the

generous support and trust we have received across the state. Sponsorships like yours are directly impacting

lives of Wyoming women and men - increasing breast cancer awareness and prevention in all 23 counties!!

benefits given back to you as a 2018 sponsor will solidify your desire to partner with the WBCI.

The volunteer-led WBCI, in partnership with the Wyoming Community Foundation, very simply is committed to

raising money that will be granted back into Wyoming. Funds raised in Wyoming, stay in Wyoming! To-date,

the WBCI has awarded grants into 21 breast cancer programs in 12 counties and is funding an early detection

voucher program that is available in all 23 counties. As detailed in the brochure, volunteers organize multiple

statewide fundraising events from April to December to increase awareness, finance early detection screening,

provide treatment navigation services, and offer post-diagnostic survivor support. As a sponsor, we will

recognize your generosity throughout the year and with primary recognition at the Wyoming Pink Ribbon

Run. This signatory 5K walk/run held on August 11, 2018 in both Cheyenne and Casper offers you double

exposure and recognition.

If you are a returning sponsor, we invite you to become a member of the Double D Club!!! If you ’push-up’

WHAT IS THE WYOMING BREAST CANCER INITIATIVE?

In partnership with the Wyoming Community Foundation, WBCI is the only advocacy organization of its kind in the state of Wyoming. WBCI is a volunteer-led nonprofit that facilitates breast cancer education, screenings, patient navigation, and survivor support by raising funds that are granted into local programs.

We are firm believers that early detection is our greatest weapon against breast cancer, and are committed to ensuring every man and woman in the state has a fair shot at beating it. Will you join us?

We work tirelessly to both improve and save lives in every Wyoming community, from Jackson to Burns. Here’s how we put your sponsorship dollars to work:

COMMUNITY GRANTSWBCI grants funds to Wyoming-only programs that increase breast cancer awareness, fund early detection screening, support patient navigation, or improve survivor sustainability. To date, we have supported 21 programs in 12 counties.

VOUCHER PROGRAMIn partnership with the Wyoming Cancer Resource Services, WBCI’s Voucher Program supports breast cancer screening for uninsured and underinsured Wyoming residents that are not eligible for the state breast and cervical cancer screening program. Vouchers are available throughout the state.

We have one mission and one mission only: to increase breast cancer awareness and prevention across Wyoming.

OUR ANNUAL EVENTSWyoming Pink Ribbon RunAugust 11, 2018The Wyoming Pink Ribbon Run is WBCI’s signature fundraiser and is coordinated by volunteers in both Casper and Cheyenne. This is the primary event for sponsorship with dual recognition on all marketing materials in both Cheyenne and Casper.

Sponsor recognition will be posted at various WBCI events. Exclusive recognition can be given at any of our annual events. Inquiry for specific details.

Cups4Cups- April Our first annual event was a success. We had several coffee shops from across the state raise awareness for breast cancer prevention and even ‘pinked out’ their business. A premiere sponsorship opportunity is having your logo on all the coffee sleeves.

‘Docs for Pink’ Campaign- May-JuneMedical providers throughout the state join together in support of the WBCI Voucher Program. Funding from this event pays for survivor registrations and celebrations.

Cheyenne Frontier Days ‘Pink Day’- July 26, 2018This growing partnership with Cheyenne Frontier Days honors Wyoming breast cancer survivors. Make sure to visit the WBCI booth outside the CFD ticket office.

Plates for Pink- October 14-20, 2018What a great way to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness month! Each night of the week will feature a different local restaurant in multiple cities across the state.
