Integration options

Hardware wise, depending upon what is available on the

vehicle, some input parameters might be used, e.g. powering

or info on the position and orientation of the vehicle.

When disired, each CAMEL can be self contained, with

powering, intertial system and radio communication.

Detections and localisations can be displayed on a separte

screen or fed into a board computer / BMS directly, all sorts of

radios can be used.

A single Acoustic Multi-Mission Sensor (AMMS) is able to:

Detect and locate Small Arms Fire up to miss distances

of 300m

Detect, locate and track low flying helicopters

Point in the direction of a blast, e.g. Mortar & RPG

The CAMEL configuration, so two AMMS’s with well defined

positions and orientations, working as a standalone subarray,

improves the acoustic performance of the aforementioned

capabilities whilst:

Seperating on deck the incoming and outgoing fire.
