1 Elizabethtown will be going for its tenth straight win over Moravian in today’s Landmark Conference matchup with the Greyhounds. E-town leads the all-time series 31-2-1, going back to first-ever meeting in 1954.

2 The Blue Jays extended their win streak to seven games with another pair of victories this past week. Maggie Fees scored both goals for Elizabethtown last Wednesday at home in a 2-1 non-conference win over Wilkes. Fees tallied at Drew on Saturday, her third straight game with a goal, and also added an assist as E-town rolled to a 4-0 win to move to 3-0 in the conference. Olivia Beachley had two goals and Madison Kubik scored her first of the season in the game.

For the week, Fees had 3 goals and 1 assist for 7 points and was named the Landmark’s Offensive Athlete of the Week for the first time. Margo Donlin gave the Blue Jays the sweep of the weekly awards, her third straight selection and fourth this season. Donlin shut out the Rangers, her 6th in 12 games.

3 Moravian’s biggest win of the season came at Bryn Athyn with an eight-goal outburst. The Greyhounds posted four goals in each off en route to the team’s largest margin of victory on the year. Sophomore Talea Gordon scored her first career goal that started the scoring. Junior Sara Cruz recorded the program’s 18th hat trick in the game. Sophomore goalie Sabrina Masone took over duties in the cage in the second half after start Ashley Kunsman kept Bryn Athyn off the scoreboard through 35 minutes.

Cruz is Moravian’s leading scorer with 5 goals. Freshman Kendal Wilkes is one behind with 4. Kunsman has been one of the better-performing goalies in the Landmark. Kunsman ranks top three in the conference in saves and save percentage.

4 Elizabethtown’s unbeaten run against Moravian is tied for the third-longest current streak against any opponent. The Blue Jays have also defeated Widener nine straight times. E-town has a 12-game win streak over Goucher and the longest running streak is 18 in a row over Delaware Valley. The Greyhounds’ last win over the Jays was in 2004, 4-1, when both schools were members of the MAC Commonwealth.

5 Elizabethtown remains home for a key Landmark showdown with Scranton on Sat. Oct. 13 at 1 p.m.
