Meal recipients are visited by a licensed Case Manager who conducts home visits to ensure that all clients’ needs are being met and connects them with community resources so that they may remain independent. INTERFAITH FAMILY SERVICES Location: Dallas, TX Summary: The Financial Empowerment program provides residents with financial coaching sessions on topics such as credit, budgeting, savings and debt reduction. Funds will also support a pilot Non-Residential Program designed to reach and stabilize individuals who are on the brink of homelessness. TRINITY RIVER MISSION (TRM) Location: Dallas, TX Summary: TRM’s after-school programs provide low-income K-12 students in West Dallas with homework assistance, one-on-one tutoring, social-emotional & character-building support and various enrichment activities. WOMEN IN NEED OF GENEROUS SUPPORT (WINGS) Location: Dallas, TX Summary: The Women’s Enterprise Center helps low-income aspiring female entrepreneurs successfully design, launch and establish their own small businesses by providing technical assistance, business training, and one-on-one mentoring along with critical financial, personal and professional support. AGAPE RESOURCE & ASSISTANCE CENTER Location: Plano, TX Summary: Agape’s 2018 Summer Adventure Camp will provide a quality summer enrichment experience for 25 children (ages 4-15) from three Collin County nonprofit agencies – Agape Resource & Assistance Center, Shiloh Place of McKinney and Family Promise of Collin County. In 2018, Independent Bank proudly provided $330,000 to support the work of nonprofits across North Texas, Central Texas, Houston, and Colorado. Summary: The Dallas City of Learning (DCL) initiative works to ensure all students have access to high-quality summer learning programs that stem summer learning loss. DCL also works to minimize duplicated resources and to direct resources towards students who need them most.

COMMUNITIES IN SCHOOLS OF NORTH TEXAS, INC.Location: Lewisville, TX Summary: Communities in Schools of North Texas will provide dropout prevention case management services for students in high-need school districts in Denton County during the 2018-2019 school year.

FRISCO FAMILY SERVICES Location: Frisco, TX

Summary: The Intensive Self-Sufficiency Program is a six- to twelve-month, one-on-one case management program that serves single parents, young couples with children and senior citizens who are currently seeking employment with limited education, employment history and other life skills.

HEALTH SERVICES OF NORTH TEXAS, INC. (HSNT) Location: Denton, TX

Summary: The Good Start Back to School Giveway helps children and their families prepare for a successful school year by providing them with health education, physicals, backpacks and school supplies at no cost. The Giveaway also introduces families to HSNT and the affordable healthcare services they provide.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF COLLIN COUNTY Location: McKinney, TX

Summary: The Cotton Groves is a planned, affordable housing community in East McKinney that will consist of 35 town homes for low-to-moderate income families.

BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF COLLIN COUNTY Location: Frisco, TX

Summary: The Money Matters program provides behavior-changing financial education to help teens get on the path toward budgeting, saving, planning for college, and financial freedom.

FAMILY GATEWAY Location: Dallas, TX

Summary: Through the Assessment & Diversion program, Family Gateway diverts and serves families without the immediate need of shelter by assisting them with a housing plan and connecting them to additional resources to prevent them from falling into homelessness. This intervention stabilizes families and reserves beds in emergency shelters for those who need them most.

GIRLS INC. OF TARRANT COUNTY Location: Fort Worth, TX

Summary: During the Fall 2018 semester, four essay-writing workshops for high school girls will be held in disadvantaged school districts. The workshops will prepare participants to write essays for college, scholarships, SAT/ACT and university-level papers.

THE WOMEN’S CENTER OF TARRANT COUNTY Location: Fort Worth, TX

Summary: Employment Solutions is a three-track program that works to increase the financial well-being of women, men and families by connecting them to resources such as financial coaching, soft skills training and job retention and career advancement services.

Summary: NEW TAC is an early intervention, therapeutic program in La Vega Primary School for extreme-risk, trauma-affected children. The program increases children’s self-regulation of their emotions in order to reduce discipline referrals and suspensions and ultimately break the school-to-prison pipeline.

GRASSROOTS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT Location: Waco, TX

Summary: The First Time Homebuyer program provides housing counseling services and financial literacy classes and helps families save for a down payment on their home through an IDA savings account.

BAYLOR UNIVERSITY, SCHOOL OF EDUCATION – PROJECT PROMISE Location: Waco, TX

Summary: Gifted and talented 4th – 12th grade students from low-income backgrounds will receive scholarships to attend Project Promise on Baylor’s campus. During Project Promise, students take courses that align with their interests, identify social and academic goals and develop interpersonal relationships with peers and mentors.

CARITAS OF AUSTIN Location: Austin, TX

Summary: The Transition Assistance Program provides clients who are at risk of becoming homeless with up to three months of financial assistance for specific housing, childcare and health-related needs.

EXPLORE AUSTINLocation: Austin, TX

Summary: Explore Austin is a long-term, outdoor mentoring and leadership program which serves low-income and minority youth from East and South East Austin. Youth enter the program in 6th grade and remain enrolled until graduation.

REBUILDING TOGETHER AUSTINLocation: Austin, TX

Summary: Safety modifications will be installed in the homes of low-income, elderly homeowners to prevent falls and allow them to age in place, thus avoiding the cost of moving.

THE GEORGETOWN PROJECT Location: Georgetown, TX

Summary: The NEST Empowerment Center provides homeless and at-risk youth with basic needs assistance and supportive services such as course credit recovery, tutoring, job and financial literacy training, college prep and professional counseling and access to paid summer internships.

BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS LONE STARLocation: Houston, TX

Summary: Mentor2.0 is a one-to-one mentoring program at KIPP Northeast College Preparatory and Heights High School that consists of weekly email communication and periodic in-person meetings between mentors and mentees.

PRISON ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM - HOUSTON (PEP)Location: Houston, TX

Summary: The PEP provides incarcerated men and women with character and leadership development opportunities, mentoring and a six-month “mini-MBA” program. Upon release, alumni have access to a comprehensive slate of re-entry services.

BAYOU CITY BLESSINGS IN A BACKPACK Location: Houston, TX

Summary: Weekend food bags will be provided to students in need at Blackshear Elementary School, Spring Shadows Elementary School and Stratford High School.

THE WOMEN’S RESOURCE OF GREATER HOUSTONLocation: Houston, TX

Summary: RISE! is a four-year program for high school girls that combines life skills training and financial education. The program also includes field trips to colleges and businesses, service projects and college admission assistance.

Summary: The Housing First program works to quickly house the most vulnerable homeless populations in the Colorado Springs community and helps them achieve long-term stability through case management and supportive services.

PEAK VISTA COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTERS Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Summary: The First Visitor program provides free, one-on-one support for parents of children ages 0 to 3. The program educates and supports families in the physical, emotional and intellectual development of their young children during the critical first three years of life.

SPRINGS RESCUE MISSION Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Summary: The Resource Center is a full-service day center that brings homeless services together in one location and removes barriers to health services. Guests can access shelter, basic amenities, food, clothing and healthcare services seven days a week at the center. Onsite case managers work with guests to identify barriers to stability and help them meet their goals.

COLORADO SPRINGS TEEN COURT Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Summary: The Life Skills Mentoring program provides first-time, young offenders with additional support through mentoring and education. Each teen leaves with a finished résumé, personal budget, comprehensive community resource guide, a five-year goal plan and communication skills.

GREELEY DREAM TEAM Location: Greeley, CO

Summary: The Alumni Program is a comprehensive, collegiate support pilot program that promotes academic achievement and resilience in postsecondary students from underrepresented groups by connecting them to additional support services.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN COMMUNITY LAND TRUST (RMCLT)

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Summary: RMCLT partners with qualified, low-income families in homeownership via a Land Trust model. Participating families attend a First-Time Homebuyer workshop.
