Dear Friends,
Thanks to your generous support, 2018 was an exciting year. In addition to providing
more than 22,000 experiences for deserving kids, we coordinated impactful programs
that introduced kids to jobs, exposed them to new experiences and created meaningful
childhood memories.
With input from our partner agencies, our new programs focused on topics ranging from
healthy eating to race/police relations and female empowerment with our very own Girls
with Pearls program.
We are encouraged by the data from our annual survey, indicating that our partner
agencies believe our work is strengthening their programs (85 percent), helping them
keep their kids engaged (77 percent) and impacting their bottom line by saving them
money on programs (68 percent).
Thank YOU for your continued support. Together, we are providing kids with experiences
that encourage them to dream big!
With heartfelt thanks,
The MVK Board of Directors

Our First Annual Ninja Warrior Event was a big success! The sold-out event brought kids together for an evening of fitness and fun and raised over $45,000 to support our mission! Special thanks to our generous sponsors and donors and amazing co-chairs Ariella Cohen and Jamie Goldstein for their leadership of this event.
Our new Girls with Pearls (GWP) program is off to a great start! The weekly, school-based program is designed to foster leadership and empower girls by helping them plan for their future through education, personal responsibility and social awareness. Currently, GWP is in 8 schools with 98 girls participating. The girls, grades 4 - 6, are selected to participate by their Principals/Teachers and are exposed to field trips, speakers and important topics.
Learn more about our Girls with Pearls program on our website at www.mostvaluablekids.org/cincinnati under the program link!

“The Trip to North Pole! We had several families selected, many
who recently experienced tragic events (deaths, fires, etc.). To be able to provide
this magical opportunity for our families was a privilege.”
“Sending students to the movie theater to see
Black Panther and/or Wrinkle in Time. To attend, students had
to read the book in a book club. Not only did the students become
encouraged to read for pleasure, but it offered great classroom lessons
as well.”
