Coaches,

Thank you for attending Tiffin University Volleyball Team Camp! We look forward to

watching your team play. Included you will find information for the three days of camp. We will

have a website available for updates throughout camp that can be found on the volleyball

athletics page under camps and clinics (Link).

Please remember that this is an informal team camp. We ask that your respect the

officials and work teams. While this is an informal camp, please make sure that you are

punctual to your court. We want to make sure that everything runs promptly and smoothly.

There will be concessions available at each site. Please help to keep the camp sites clean so we

can continue using these facilities in the future. We will also have Tiffin University Volleyball

apparel for sale as well as team camp shirts if athletes or parents wish to purchase.

If there are any questions or concerns during camp do not hesitate to ask myself, Coach

Brooke, or one of the Tiffin University Volleyball workers. My cell phone will be the easiest to

reach me on during camp. (419-561-0115) Scores and repools will be updated throughout camp

and can be seen on the website as well as posted in the Gillmor Student Center.

Again, thank you for attending Tiffin University Volleyball Team Camp. We wish you the

best of luck throughout camp and as you move into your season!

Coaches and Player Information

Check in will be from 2:00-4:00 pm in the Gillmor Student Center. All coaches must check in at

the Gillmor.

There will be NO coaches meeting prior to play beginning.

Pool play matches will be two games to 25 with no cap, starting at 4-4.

Matches will follow Ohio High School Volleyball Rules (libero, substitutions, etc.) Format will

follow Ohio Valley Region format.

Jerseys are not required. If a libero is being used a contrasting shirt color is preferred.

Water will be available at each site.

Trainers will be available. Please bring athletic tape and supplies.

Play sites will likely change. Please check the website or coaches packet for these details.

Please note that part of the silver bracket for the JV will be played at Blackswamp and part will

be played at the Heminger Center.

Varsity Pool Play Information

There will be 4 pool play sessions run Thursday evening (5-9pm), Friday morning (8am -12pm), Friday

afternoon (2-6pm), and Saturday morning (8am-12pm). For 4-team pool, matches will be two games

to 25, with each game starting at 4-4 for time constraints. Coaches will be permitted two timeouts

per game. There will be no cap for pool play or playoff games.

At the conclusion of each pool play session, teams will be RESEEDED and REPOOLED based on that

pool play session. Teams may or may not change courts (therefore referred to as POOL or POOLS) or

locations at the conclusion of each pool play session; it is the coach’s and team’s responsibility to

determine their next pool and location. Information is enclosed here and will be found at each site.

PLEASE NOTE; RESEEDING FORMAT IS NOT CUMULATIVE; IT IS BASED ON YOUR

TEAMS PERFORMANCE IN THE JUST-COMPLETED POOL PLAY SESSION.

Tiffin Volleyball Staff members will serve as head referees. Working teams are listed in parentheses

and will be required to have 2 line judges, one score keeper, and down ref. Warmup time for all

matches will be standard OVR format: 2 minutes shared (coin flip at this time), 4 minutes receiving

team, 4 minutes serving team. Warmup time will start as soon as teams from previous match have

cleared the court, so BE PROMPT. For 4-team pools, matches are two games to 25, with each game

starting at 4-4 for time constraints.

Tiebreakers will be resolved in the following order: Game Win Percentage, Head to Head Games, Head

to Head point differential, overall point differential, point differential versus top-seeded common

opponent (in pool)

Junior Varsity Pool Play Information
