Agile 101 – Mastering the Fundamentals of Agile Real World Skills & Clarity About Agile in the PMBOK® Guide Sixth Edition

One-day Seminar • Concentrated High-value Learning

The PMBOK® Guide Sixth Edition is unleashing a silent tsunami by shifting the tectonic plates of the

Project Management profession. The release of the new PMBOK® Guide

with Agile in every Knowledge Area … is the biggest change in 20

years! It confirms that Agile is now mainstream, that it is the hottest

skillset in project management, and that your PMP may get you the

interview, but – and it is a very big but – Agile expertise gets you the

job!

The PMI-ACP® is the fastest growing certification in PMI history with

more than 14,000 certification holders. This is not a fad! It is the new

reality!!

The good news for most PMP®’s is they are more

qualified than they realize. You may not be using

Scrum vocabulary, but you are using core Agile

practices like Rolling Wave Planning, Progressive

Elaboration, and Decomposition.

This is an opportunity for you to achieve clarity about

if, when, and how you should use Agile! This

energized, activity-based experience includes lots of

time for Q&A in a true “immersion” experience.

WHAT OTHER’S ARE SAYING

to my teams.” - Ron S. (Test Engineers, Inc., CA)

“The group exercises were very helpful to see how to create

User Stories, MoSCoW clusters, Release Plans, and Sprints.”

Carrie B. (Lands End, Inc., WI)

“For once – a powerful, practical seminar that was not

boring! We had fun because the delivery pace kept everyone

engaged which improved my learning.” - Monica J. (Blue

Cross/Blue Shield, NY)

How to Get Executives to Act for Project Success Becoming a World-class Project Manager by Managing UP!

One-day Seminar • Concentrated High-value Learning

The simple, painful fact is that unless key stakeholders and executives act before it is too late project

success is unlikely … and your career gets outsourced! The trap of being blamed for project failure

because of inaction, or worse yet – counteraction, by key stakeholders and executives can be avoided.

During this unique, succinct seminar you will receive the keys for unlocking executive inaction and

motivating them to quickly contribute to project success. During this workshop you will see the research

that explains why executives fail to form a strong mutual partnership with project managers. You will

receive a research-based “Top 10 PM Actions” list to supercharge an action-bias in your key

stakeholders and executives. And you will hear the “insider secrets” the Instructor used to drive projects

to success at the CIA!

This powerful experience gives you solid training and practical information to:

• Understand the underlying reasons for executive inaction or counteraction.

• Identify the actions your executive can take for your project success.

• Recognize the barriers to executive action and project success.

• Determine what you can do to get your executive to act for project success, and how to do it.

When you finish you will be well equipped to help your executives act for your project and career

success.
