A Message from the President

Dear Traveler,

Since our founding in 1969, Homeric Tours has been providing travelers with the most memorable travel experiences in Greece. Over time, we have expanded our specialty to offer many types of travel arrangements – from independent travel to partially escorted tours – to Greece and its surrounding areas. Through the ever-changing travel industry, Homeric Tours has remained true to our founding principles of providing value and service unmatched anywhere.

Why book your vacation with Homeric Tours? For the security of knowing you have a partner nearby to ensure your satisfaction. Whether it is something as simple as notifying you of a schedule change on a flight, re-routing an island hop due to weather, or recommending a favorite

local spot, our travel specialists are ready to ensure a seamless experience for you and your travel companions. Unlike what will happen if you book your vacation components with separate companies online, you will never be on your own abroad. Homeric Tours representatives are always there for you.

This brochure includes our well-planned package itineraries that we have developed over the years. On an Independent itinerary you will be traveling mostly on your own but have the security of our staff behind the scenes to ensure the itinerary runs smoothly. On a Partially Escorted itinerary you will be with an escort for a portion of your trip.

If one of the itineraries in this brochure does not capture what you’re looking for, Homeric’s travel specialists will gladly customize an itinerary just for you. In addition to this brochure, I encourage you to take a look at our website, as we often have information relating to specials, new packages or general information relating to the destinations we serve.

Regardless of your travel needs, you will find the utmost in experience, service and value when working with Homeric Tours. We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Nikos TsakanikasPresident

WHY HOMERIC TOURS IS YOURNO. 1 CHOICE TO GREECE . . .

Greece was AMAZING! Our tour in Athens was perfect and the guide was so knowledgeable. We loved both of the hotels we stayed at and all of the transportation between Athens and the islands was seamless. In Mykonos we rented an ATV and had the best time exploring the island and finding awesome beaches/beach clubs. We did the trip to Delos. Santorini was amazing -the views are just absolutely magical. Thank you again so much for helping us plan a terrific trip. That was definitely not our last trip to Greece! It’s clear to see why so many people return time after time.

– Natalia and Adam G., Lattingtown, NY

Italy and Greece were fabulous! The agents were amazing and did a great job at picking us up and on to the next destination. Thank you for all of the planning and everything you did for us. Thanks again!

– Nuncia S., Cleveland OH

That was such an amazing trip! The hotels you picked were second to none. The guides were great and the trip was perfect. Thanks again for a very impressive trip and another job well done! It’s funny: My girlfriend was teasing me for using a travel agent and not doing it myself. By the end of the trip she said we will always be using a travel agent on any extended travel.

– Matthew Paul D. & Amy Jennifer G., Roseville, CA

I just wanted to thank you and those at HOMERIC for providing such a stress-free and relaxing tour to Greece for my friend Laurie and myself. We loved the hotel and its proximity to things we wanted to do and see. The cruise was fun and gave us just the kind of experience we had hoped for -time to relax and enjoy as well as see a sampling of islands along the way. We had a great time and I am already singing HOMERIC’s praises to others who ask about our tour. I’m sure someday we’ll be back!

– Clarice H., Bloomington, MN

We had a great trip. The hotels were amazing especially the Mykonos one, super romantic! Santorini Hotel service was spectacular. Thank you very much. Great Job!

– Edenil C. & Rebecca R., Fort Lauderdale, FL

I just returned from my wonderful trip to Greece and wanted to let you know what a great time we had touring the Islands. Everything was so beautiful and the Greek people and culture were just great! Everything went very smoothly. The food was also such a treat! I have never seen water that blue in my life. It was refreshing! We appreciate your service and we have so many great memories from our trip!

If additional baggage is carried (other than overnight bag) a supplementary charge of $2.00 per additional suitcase per “lift” will be levied according to the number of lifts. Baggage charges apply according to each airline’s rules. You may visit the foreign airline’s website to view the specific baggage fee information. Baggage is carried at owner’s risk and baggage insurance is strongly recommended.PORTERAGE: Porterage of one suitcase per person is provided in our tours. However you should know that strict security precautions in Greece, especially going through Customs inspections, on entry or exit points, demand that you carry your personal piece of luggage for the

Customs official. This procedure is seriously enforced in Greece and there are no exceptions to the rule. We ask that you bring with you only a small carry on piece and one suitcase. Both pieces you should be able to carry on your own, where necessary, when the law, for your own protection, demands it. This will be in Customs and security areas such at ports and airports. Our own people will be there beyond these areas to assist you. Also porterage is not always avail-able on the islands and especially in Santorini.PASSPORTS AND VISAS: United States citizens require a valid passport.
