RULES & OTHER INFORMATION:• Must register by 1 hour before contest (pets) 2 hours (people), forms available from the Roswell Civic Center or online at www.Roswellfilmcon.com or www.ufofestivalroswell.com • Must include release form with entryEVENT DETAILS:• Once registered, contestants can not change categories• Must be at event 30 minutes before start to be considered; numbers must be worn on costume or pet handler• Each contestant will be introduced individually by the emcee using information on the registration form. Upon introduction, the contestant will walk forward and engage the audience and judges, then return to line-up. After the last contestant, the entire line of contestants back through the stage for last looks.• Contestants will be scored on creativity, artistry, use of costume materials, stage presence, authenticity and other aspects.PRIZES:• Pets—The top three pets will be awarded trophies with cash prizes of $100 for 1st, $50 for 2nd and $25 for 3rd• Humans—The top three in each category will receive awards with a $50 cash prize for 1st; Winner of each category will come back for judging of Best in show with a cash prize of $250.
