Power over Ethernet (PoE) is a technology that integrates power into standard network infrastructure. It eliminates the need for power outlets at the camera locations by allowing power to be provided by the network switch.

PoE InjectorOffering a cost effective fully IEEE802.3af /at compliant

solution to upgrade existing infrastructures with PoE providing a Max. of 15.4W of power through each port and ensuring safe operation of any standard PoE data terminal.

PoE ExtenderEthernet has a limited cable length between switch and IP camera of a maximum of 330ft. To overcome this distance limitation, the Sentry PoE Extender can be installed in-line to increase the maximum an additional 330ft. Multiple extenders can be used.
