ColaCola was established in 1963 as a metalworking company
for the construction of heating systems. The strategic
focus was the use of "poor" fuels such as wood and coal,
but changing the idea of the stove from that of a simple
heat source to an object of refined beauty and decor, a
winning choice that put Cola among the leaders in this
emerging market in post-war Italy. A few years later the
energy crisis gave impetus to the appearance of a new
product that would revolutionise the multi-fuel sector: in
1973, an engineer from Idaho in the USA invented the
pellet, an agglomerate obtained by the compression of
sawdust and wood powder without the addition of glues
or chemicals. It gradually became increasingly used as
fuel for industries and subsequently as an alternative for
fueling condominium boilers or stoves for private homes.
As a result, on the basis on the experience acquired and
successes in the sector of wood-burning stoves and
boilers, the Cola company worked to develop specific
products in the field of pellets, eventually creating and
patenting a brazier/brazier holder combustion system
which is still among the safest and most effective on the
market, ensuring perfect combustion, reduced residual
ash and low dust emissions and flue gas. Cola combines
functionality and attractive design, heating efficiency and
the suitability of the product to be used as a furnishing
element. Cola srl was ready for the evolutionary leap at
the dawn of the new millennium.
Wood pellets are the most common type of pellet fuel and
are generally made from compacted sawdust and related
waste from lumber and wood product industries. They are
practical, environmentally friendly, easy to carry and store
and offer the best price-energy efficiency ratio. The high
density and low moisture content of wood pellets allows
them to be burned with very high combustion efficiency.
Pellets have different types of certifications and those
conforming to the norms commonly used in Europe
have less than 10% water content, are uniform in density,
have good structural strength and produce low dust and
ash content.
The advantages of using a pellet stove rather than a wood
burning stove are many. Pellet stoves can be ignited
automatically, turned on and off instantaneously and can
be thermostatically controlled and programmed remotely
using WiFi controls; wood burning stoves must be ignited
manually and cannot be controlled in the same way.
Pellet stoves heat the room by convection using a fan
which spreads the heat much more efficiently and evenly,
unlike wood which heats by radiation. Pellets produce
very little ash and the ash pan is easy to empty, with just
an annual service required in the way of maintenance.
Pellets are readily available to buy online and from garden
centres and DIY stores. They can be purchased in small
manageable bags so not a lot of storage space is required
and because they have a low moisture content and are
not required to dry out, as with wood, they can be stores
pretty much anywhere. They do not have to be seasoned
and pose no risk of insect infestation.

UTILITY - Remotable InterfaceThe Cola Utility console is a remotable interface, with direct connection to the board of boilers and/or pellet stoves, and has a 216x128 dot (81.9 x 46.8 mm) viewer and 4
touch buttons for managing functions, just like operating directly on the boiler/stove display. It is enclosed in a WHITE ABS container (126.1 x 91 mm). It is connected with
two wires and communicates with the main board via powerline. From the comfort of your living-room you can adjust the desired temperature, the duration of use of the
boiler (or pellet stove), the output and daily and weekly programming of lighting.
Darwin CommunicationCola introduces "DARWIN COMMUNICATION", the innovative APPSTOVE remote control system via Internet for the management of pellet boilers, heating stoves and stoves.
Register on the web and then check the stove from the PC or APPS for SMARTPHONE and TABLET (IOS/ANDROID/ WINDOWS). Through the Internet connection (Web or
downloading the special App), you can manage your product by entering directly in the controller of one or more stoves, adjusting lighting, turning off, temperature and
output. You can also use the weekly programming with the possibility of 4 daily independent periods. All this without moving from where you are, in the office or in the gym,
and coming home to find the heat of a Cola stove awaiting you.

Suitable for installing in any fireplace, COLA pellet inserts feature an advanced operation technology that makes them a perfect heat source. The inserts combine the typical advantages of pellet stoves (high caloric efficiency, programmability, limited costs, environmental friendliness) with the charm and warmth of a traditional fireplace. Removable, equipped with glass ceramic resistant to high temperatures, and frontal forced ventilation, it can be customised with frames in various shapes and materials.
NB: The heatable volume depends on the insulation of the home.
Calculated on 35 W/m³ - 30 kcal/h m³; consumption values are
the result of laboratory tests

With these stoves the advantages of pellets and a "water" combustion chamber go hand in hand with great operating autonomy, better heat exchange with higher efficiency plus the possibility of being directly connected to the heating system, in addition to or in place of the existing boiler. The plumbing connections and the control and safety devices are easy to access and service. The main features of COLA pellet heating stoves are:
- Cast iron brazier, fire door with frame in cast iron and self-cleaning panoramic glass ceramic
- Large heat exchange area on heating chamber - Automatic brazier cleaning to keep combustion constant and for low maintenance
- Automatic lighting and shutdown by weekly chronothermostat function with up to 4 lightings/shutdowns a day
- Alarm diagnostics and easy service - Management in up to 3 foreign languages as well as the Italian version
- Ample glass area for better visibility of flame - Possibility of connection to thermostat/external chronothermostat with cable
- Removable ash pan - Adjustable feet on bottom of stove to facilitate installation also on uneven floors
- Heating water circuit comprising: circulating pump with non-return valve with union, 3 bar safety valve, pressure transducer, system drain cock, membrane expansion tank and heating water delivery and return connections
- Group B DHW circuit for external boiler comprising circulating pump with non-return valve with union, heating water circuit connection pipes and delivery and return connections for boiler coil (optional - excluding Termo Max)
- Telephone connection via GSM module (optional) - Safety systems: overpressure valve incorporated in the cast iron upper exchanger, overtemperature safety thermostat, pellet hopper and low pressure gauge to ensure safe stove operation
- Unit for domestic hot water production with storage (optional termo power - termo power lux)
NB: The heatable volume depends on the insulation of the home.

function (for boiler or plate heat exchanger).
The primary side of the MS 10-35 module comprises: 3⁄4” connections, manual vent valve and heat exchanger with 30 plates, whereas the secondary side comprises 3⁄4”
connections, low consumption 3-speed circulating pump, non-return valve and manual vent valve.
The primary side of the MSS 10-35 module comprises: 3⁄4” connections, 3-way ball valve, manual vent valve and heat exchanger with 30 plates, whereas the secondary
side comprises 3⁄4” connections, low consumption 3-speed circulating pump, non-return valve and manual vent valve. The low consumption 3-speed circulating pump on
the secondary circuit (for both modules) and the 3-way valve for DHW option (only for module MSS 10-35) can be managed directly by the electronic controller of the pellet
heating stove and/or boiler.
Also, the modules can be provided with an ANTICONDENSATION Accessory Kit that raises the return temperature in the primary circuit. With this accessory kit, through a
3-way thermal valve the system bypasses the primary circuit fluid delivery (pellet stove/boiler) in the primary circuit return until the delivery reaches the preset temperature
in the valve. At this point the thermal valve (proportionally) closes the bypass and opens the return, thus allowing total circulation of the fluid. This allows the pellet stove/
boiler to quickly reach the optimum working temperature, preventing damage from smoke or soot in the flues and eliminating the problem of condensate in the unit.
MODULE MS 10-35 MODULE MSS 10-35 ANTICONDENSATION ACCESSORY
SYSTEM KITMS 10-35 and MSS 10-35 are the Cola separation modules necessary for combined systems having various energy sources (pellets, gas, other sources) which exceed 35
kW and hydraulically separate two different circuits of a system. In fact, they are mandatory for the document ISPESL 18/09/2006 which states "if the primary heat transfer
fluid of two generators enters the thermal storage without any separating element, the sum of the capacity is considered and therefore, if the value of 35 kW is exceeded,
the system comes under the requirements of Min. Decree 1/12/1975 "Safety standards for equipment containing hot liquids under pressure", therefore placing a heat
exchanger between the two generators creates a hydraulic interruption and the outputs must not be added together".
Therefore Cola modules MS 10-35 and MSS 10-35 do not require the compiling of REPORT R (regarding the safety of equipment containing hot liquids under pressure),
which is mandatory when the nominal output of the generators exceeds 35 kW: in fact, according to the current regulations, thermal systems fueled by biomass must
undergo a number of authorisations and administrative procedures (such as prior notification, building permit, etc.). The modules are positioned near the unit (pellet stove or
boiler) which has a useful heat output to water of between 10 and 35 kW. The modules have an electro-galvanised sheet frame and painted steel cover for easy assembly,
to ensure optimum accessibility to the internal components in case of maintenance. A maximum operating temperature of 80°C and a maximum secondary side operating
pressure of 6 bar are assured.
The modules consist of two circuits: a primary circuit (connected to a pellet heating stove/boiler), and a secondary circuit that interfaces with another energy source. The
MS 10-35 is the basic module for separation of the circuits, whereas the MSS 10-35 is the module which, in addition to the separation function, integrates the DHW circuit

BIOMASS PELLET BOILERDomus Fire » 78
COMBUSTION CHAMBER - Large surface area heat exchanger for maximum efficiency
15a B-VG EN 303-5 BImSchV2
• Large volume flue gas reversal collectors for uniform temperature and speed
• Extremely low emissions thanks to accurately calibrated combustion and vermiculite combustion chamber walls (NEW!!)
• Turbulators for reduced flue gas speed and more efficient heat exchange
• Combustion chamber with fully water-jacketed front face (NEW!!) to eliminate thermal stress between combustion parts and external panels
• Combustion chamber with fully insulated top (hottest) section (NEW!!); latest generation insulation prevents heat loss to outside
• Stable and rigid mounting thanks to built-in base and thick steel panels
• Two inspection doors with closure adjustment brackets (NEW!!):
1. Fire door with flame viewing window
2. Ash bin door for removing and emptying the large ash bin, complete with overpressure safety valve for protection against explosion and/or flameback
• Fully inspectable: in addition to the inspection doors, the flue gas collectors can also be inspected:
1. at the bottom, through the side and centre plugs
2. at the top, by removing the cover panel
DOMUS FIRE - Design Essential, Attractive and Compact Every little detail has been carefully and stylishly designed:
• The door handle lies flush with the front panel
• The thermally insulated top and side panels have no visible screws
• The turbulator shaker knobs are partly hidden
Thermal insulation of the casing panels limits heat loss and keeps external surfaces cool.
DOMUSFIRE BOILERS incorporate a large capacity pellet hopper (70 kg for models HR C29-HR C35-HR C39 and 50 kg for models HR C17-HR C24). Domusfire boilers
come with provision for connection to an ad-ditional, 250 kg hopper with level sensor for automatic filling.

Advantages: • To clean the thermally insulated top section of the boiler, simply lift off the top panel
(which is held in place by simple clips - no screws
• To clean the bottom section, simply open the ash bin door and remove the ash bin and central plug. There is no need to remove the side panels
• The heating system pumps have direct access from the outside for adjusting the speed
• The flue gas extractor can be removed easily, through the central panel on the rear of the boiler
• The electrical and electronic component box can be removed and replaced with-out having to remove the side panel.
The boiler is designed so that the additional, 250 kg pellet hopper which gives many hours of autonomy, can be positioned on either side.
• External water circuit air vent
• External water circuit drain cock
• Adjustment of speed of pumps from the outside
• The normal operation and basic maintenance of the water circuit in Cola boilers is extremely quick and easy. There is no need to re move casing panels as all de-vices are accessible from the outside. Cola boilers also have provision for connec-tion to a second boiler with pump, a passive storage cylinder or a storage cylinder with plate heat exchanger.
InnovationIn implementation of Directive 2005/32/EC, regulating the “design specifications of cir-culating pumps”, Cola, which is always at the forefront in improving its technology, has already introduced in the production of the DOMUSFIRE BOILER the ENERGY-SAVING SMART PUMP (i.e. A CIRCULATING PUMP FEATURING HIGH ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND LOW POWER CONSUMPTION tested and certified by an accredited laboratory) whose rotor is directly coupled to the turbine and immersed in the liquid being pumped (cir-culating pump without stuffing box).
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM - Important innovationsBURNER - Comprising:• Firebox designed for optimum distribution of primary and secondary air, with angled vertical mini-collectors (NEW!!)
• Large, perforated, cast iron grate
• Large diameter air inlet with flow meter
FLUE GAS EXHAUST - Comprising:• 100 mm diameter pipe (NEW!!) • Cast iron coil on back wall of combustion chamber (NEW!!) • More powerful, 180 mm diameter extractor fan (NEW!!)
