Korean LanguageThis course will provide the students with the knowledge of Korean language with the themes such as Korean phonics and alphabet, self-introduction, greeting, asking questions, and ordering & purchasing an item. The topics which will be taught during the second week include asking times, simple conversations with people on street, shopping, and how to get to tourist destinations.

TaekwondoThis course provides the knowledge and exercises of basic Taekwondo Poomsae and sparring, smashing pine boards, freestyle & extreme Taekwondo, and traditional etiquette & rehabilitation skills.

Management Information SystemThis course outlines the fundamentals of technology entrepreneurship to seek opportunity in technological and business solutions when presented with what others see as insurmountable problems. Technology entrepreneurship is a spirited approach to business leadership that involves identifying high-potential, technology-intensive commercial opportunities, gathering resources such as talent and capital, and managing rapid growth and significant risks using principled decision-making skills. Through a collection of case studies, lectures, workshops, and projects that cover high-growth ventures in various industries, this course provides the student with the tools necessary to successfully identify a true business opportunity, and to start and grow a technology enterprise.

Introduction to BiotechnologyRapid developments of modern genetic engineering greatly influenced

the all aspects of medicine and life sciences. In this course, students will encounter various technological and scientific milestones in sciences, medicine, and industries from biotechnology. Topics will cover overall knowledge in cellular molecular biology, biochemistry and the convergence with Nanotechnology. Through this course, student will understand the concepts of biotechnology, such as omics (genomes, proteomes, metabolomes, carbohydrates, and lipidomics), genetic engineering, cloning, protein therapeutics, stem cells, clinical genetics, various imaging techniques, and ethical issues from the expansions in sciences. Students will learn to apply the skills to monitor and to identify the latest trends and issues in biotechnology. Objectives are: 1) The general understanding of biotechnology: what is biotechnology; 2) What are the trends and cutting-edge biotechnology developments; 3) Convergences of industry and academic researches and life for an individual scientist.

Understanding of Information & Communication TechnologyThe course introduces students to the future multimedia technology including a digital signage, a drone camera, holography, virtual reality, and the robust multimedia streaming technologies that deliver moving images and audio over the wireless network. With introducing those future technologies, this course covers several fundamental principles including a server and client’s system architecture, most recent video coding standards (H.265/HEVC, SHVC), and error protection/concealment schemes. The pros/cons of various streaming options as well as system demonstration will be discussed in this course.

Health Assessment Practicum & Medical TerminologyThis course will provide the students with the knowledge and skills of health assessment across the life span. It will include health history and physical examination of an individual’s body systems in a variety of settings across

there will be NO cultural excursion program on the medical campus.- One bed in triple or quad room and 3 meals/day (except Saturday and

Tuition & Fees

✽ Students can choose the payment currency at the time of application submission.

✽ The program fee for the medical campus is 500,000 KRW. (It covers dormitory and DOES NOT cover bedding materials and meals.)

Discounts- Exchange students from sister universities: application fee and tuition

waiver. Thus the total amount of payment for exchange students is 1,200,000 KRW.

- Group application: please contact the OIA at your home university- Note that there is no discount for the medical campus.
