* The contribution that is deductible for federal income tax

FORMAT

• Participants will be divided into four-person teams playing all

18 holes. PGA Professionals will be added to the teams.

• Each participant will play their own ball in a better ball of the

foursome team competition

• USGA Handicaps will be used at the event

2016 PGA CHAMPIONSHIP LEGACY PROJECTS

MILITARY

PGA HOPE is the signature program of the Military pillar of PGA REACH. PGA HOPE is a therapeutic golf program designed to assist Military Veterans with their physical, social, and emotional well-being. The program is monitored under the guidance and instruction of PGA Professionals and has proven to connect Veterans together, provide an outlet for physical activity and competition, and support their assimilation back into the community. PGA HOPE’s expansion in the tri-state area over the last 12 months has been a result of the 2016 PGA Championship with an eye toward highlighting the program during this year’s event. PGA HOPE now has chapters in Basking Ridge, NJ, Philadelphia, PA, West Point, Westchester, and Long Island, NY. Your support will allow these chapters to each select one team to compete in the inaugural PGA HOPE Secretary’s Cup on the Monday of PGA Championship week. Modeled after the PGA Junior League Golf format, teams will compete in team scramble format and promote the fun, recreational, and therapeutic benefits of the game of golf for Veterans. The goal is to make this an annual competition. PGA REACH is also working with the VA hospital in Basking Ridge to install a golf simulator in the hospital so that PGA HOPE can continue its healing benefits indoors when the weather is not conducive to outdoor instruction. DIVERSITY INTERNSHIP

The PGA of America strives to be a leader in growing diversity in the game of golf with a focus on those who play the game, those who work in the game, and within our PGA Membership. With a concentration on increasing the diversity of those who work in golf administration, the PGA REACH Diversity Internship was created. The goal is to provide diverse youth that have a background in the game with valuable work experience in golf administration, ultimately creating a greater pipeline of diverse candidates for employment within the industry. Your support will allow the first REACH Diversity Intern to be hired to work for the New Jersey PGA in the Spring of 2016. NJ GOLF FOUNDATION HEADQUARTERS

The NJ Golf Foundation, the charitable arm of the New Jersey PGA Section, has been recognized as a leader in the areas of Player Development, as recognized by their receiving the PGA’s Herb Graffis award twice in the last four years. The organization has long sought a home of its own to conduct additional programming and that dream has now come to fruition. The new Headquarters will be on the grounds of Fiddlers Elbow Country Club. The year-round practice facility will be home to the NJGF/NJPGA offices, the NJPGA Hall of Fame, and provide year-round practice areas including indoor simulator for winter use to support the NJGF’s dynamic player development programs, under the guidance of PGA Professionals. The 2016 PGA Championship will be prominently recognized as a key contributor to the completion of this project based on your sponsorship support.

HOST SITE – BALTUSROL GOLF CLUB Baltusrol Golf Club, synonymous with championship golf, sits at the base of Baltusrol Mountain in northern New Jersey, only a stone's

throw from New York City. With a rich heritage that dates back to 1895, Baltusrol is considered one of the country's premier golf clubs.

Its two championship courses, the Lower and Upper, have played distinguished roles on the national stage since their creation by

Golden Age architect A.W. Tillinghast in 1922. Together, the courses have hosted 16 Major championships, including seven U.S. Opens

and one PGA Championship. The 98th PGA Championship will return in 2016.
