WELCOME FROM BJU’S PRESIDENTWelcome to BJU! We’re privileged to have you as our guest for the 44th Annual High School Festival and Preaching Conference.

As you participate in preaching, music, culinary, commu-nication, art, photography and video production competi-tions, it is our hope that through competition you will be challenged and encouraged to use the gift s God has given you for His glory.

I invite you to take advantage of the opportunity to visit university classes and see fi rsthand how God is working in the hearts and minds of our students through our highly qualifi ed faculty. As you visit, we hope you will consider BJU for your college education.

BJU is a unique educational institution. Our faculty provides students a world-class education that prepares them well for their ministry or vocation. Our graduates prove this every day as they serve the Lord in local churches, Christian schools, mission fi elds and many professions around the world.

It’s no coincidence our graduates are sought aft er—80 to 100 percent of our premed students —far above the national average of 49 percent—are accepted into medical school, approximately 80 percent of our accounting students have a job in their fi eld or are accepted at a graduate school before they graduate, senior engineering students average a 90 percent pass rate on the national Fundamentals of Engineering exam, and our nursing students regularly outperform national and state pass rates on the NCLEX.

Enjoy your visit at BJU. Please let me or any member of our faculty or staff know if we may be of any assistance to you during your visit. We are here for you.

Steve Pett itPresident
