This past year was amazing and 2016 is going to be even greater! For us to continue to grow as a church, we need to increase our capacity by making disciples and developing leaders. This requires growing to the next level.

We cannot get complacent with where we are as individuals in our walk with God. The same is true for our effectiveness as a church family. The Old Testament prophet, Isaiah, says this, “Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.” - Isaiah 54:2

We as a church need to make preparations for growth, this means growing to the next level. We need to grow personally as individuals and structurally as a church. To increase our capacity it is going to take each of us committing to grow in 2016.

There are three specific areas throughout this year I believe God wants us to focus on growing to the next level. Those three areas are: maturity, family and influence. Throughout this document we will further define and explain those so you can pray about what God is calling you to grow in.

This is something we are going to do together. This is the year of growing to the next level!

2016Goals1. Create and begin to fund our new “WOG Forward” account for future growth and expansion.

2. Set a financial goal of $500,000 for: general operating expenses, significant investments in our children and youth ministries, and allocation of funds for future growth and expansion.

3. Fully staff 100 trained, passionate volunteers and leaders for WOG Kids ministries.

4. Fully staff 312 trained, passionate volunteers and leaders in preparation for a third Sunday morning service.

5. Have 30 Community Groups.

6. Equip and release people for outreach and evangelism to our neighborhoods and communities.

7. Deepen the sense of family through providing regular opportunities for relational connections and strengthening our appreciation for one another.

None of these things happen without prayer and your engagement. Our involvement can be the answer to some of these prayers. The purpose of this document is to make you aware of where we are going so you can pray and get involved. Please commit to pray daily for our goals on page 6 and the following focuses for 2016:

• Stronger families and marriages.

• Single adults and parents to find a Godly mate.

• Financial health and stewardship.

• Freedom from chains of addiction.

• Stronger relationship with Jesus Christ.

• People to recognize their need for Jesus and to be baptized.

• Grow in understanding and application of Scripture.

• Wisdom for pastors and leaders.

• Growth and health for our church and churches in our community.

• Continued unity in our congregation.

• Comfort and encouragement for the lonely.

• Restored relationships.

• Children and teenagers to grow in their love and knowledge of God.

• Military service men and women and their families.

• Our local law enforcement, firefighters and EMTs.

• People to know and feel that they are valued by God.

We are growing to the next level in 2016 of loving God, loving people and serving the world!
