About NPELRAThe National Public Employer Labor Relations Association (NPELRA) is the largest public sector labor relations organization in the nation. NPELRA is a network of state and

2016 Annual Training ConferenceFor over 44 years, NPELRA has been providing relevant education to public sector labor relations and human resources professionals. We continue this tradition into our 45th year! This year’s conference will focus on the hot topics of Labor Relations and Human Resources. Our presenters are actively involved in the day-to-day nuts and bolts of LR/HR. In addition to the wealth of substantive sessions being offered, registrants can also enjoy networking social events. NPELRA is committed to furthering the professional development of public sector labor relations/human resources professionals.

Who are the attendees?Our attendees include labor relations and human resources professionals who are city managers directors, managers, and supervisors who represent management in the public sector, inclusive of cities, counties, courts, school districts, special districts, state agencies, federal agencies, and other public sector entities.

Staffing your booth is optional during general and concurrent sessions. Continental breakfast, and 2 refreshment breaks will be held each day in the exhibit area to generate traffic. The Sponsors’ stamp card drawing will be held in the technology / exhibit area on Tuesday, April 19 at the afternoon break. Sponsors are also invited to hold their own raffle at their booth. Gather contacts/business cards from each attendee that visits your booth, and announce the winner at the afternoon break.

NPELRA is working to transition our annual conference into an environmentally friendly event, and we need your help! Below are a few tips for Exhibitors to participate in the green movement, and they are sure to save you money!

• The majority of conference waste is paper, minimize the number of printed flyers and recycle all unused materials in the correctly marked bins.

• Print on paper that is at least 50% post-consumer recycled content.

• Choose promotional items and giveaways that are recyclable, reusable, nontoxic and/or biodegradable. Provide items that are useful as well as promotional. Electronic giveaways such as coupons, apps, and free songs are great alternatives.

Attendee Badge Book Advertisement

Advertise in the conference badge book for added visibility and marketing potential. Each attendee will have a 3.5” x 5” booklet to be worn as a conference badge. Attendees are required to have their badge book at all times during the conference. Inside, they will have a conference schedule, hotel map, and an area for notes. By adding this additional opportunity, you gain more recognition with all attendees, including those who do not attend any social events! To be included in the badge book, all

Awards Luncheon The Awards Luncheon is the perfect opportunity to connect with the conference attendees. Attendees will gather to recognize the current recipients of the NPELRA Pacesetter Award, the Award of Excellence, and the President’s Award. All attendees are invited to attend this event. Recognition includes your organization’s logo prominently displayed and recognition from the Awards Committee Chair. You will be recognized as the sponsor on the signage for the event, and anywhere the event is mentioned.

Lanyard Attendees are required to wear their badge book for the duration of the conference, giving your company’s name constant exposure.

Banner Advertisement on Mobile Conference App The new go-to resource of up-to-date conference information, which is downloaded by at least 85% of conference attendees. Your company logo will be displayed on the menu of the conference app, which when clicked, will take attendees to more information about your company.

Conference Bags Every attendee receives a conference bag containing all of their materials. The bag is used well beyond the conference itself, and each one displays the NPELRA logo and the name/logo of the sponsor.

Cup A non-disposable cup is included in each conference tote for all attendees. Your company name/logo will be prominently displayed on one side of the cup. (Past cups have included acrylic tumblers, travel coffee mugs, stainless steel water bottles, etc.)

First Timers’ Reception A unique opportunity to be recognized by the newcomers of the conference, along with the NPELRA Board of Directors, State PELRA Presidents and NPELRA Past Presidents. You will be recognized as the sponsor on the signage for the event, and anywhere the event is mentioned.

Flash Drive Used as a resource by attendees before, during, and after the conference. The conference flash drive is given to each and every attendee. Your company name/logo will be prominently displayed on one side of the flash drive.

Foundation Lunch The Foundation Lunch is a great opportunity to connect with the conference attendees. Attendees will gather to recognize the recent recipients of the NPELRA Foundation scholarship. All conference attendees, guests, speakers, and sponsors are invited to attend this event. Recognition includes your organization’s logo prominently displayed on every table and recognition from an NPELRA Foundation Board Member. Golf Tournament At the NPELRA Annual Golf Tournament, sponsors will have the chance to network with other golfers while having some fun in the sun. As a sponsor, your company will be recognized at the breakfast and awards lunch.

Plenary address A prestigious opportunity! Introduce your company as a top sponsor of the conference, with a two minute speaking opportunity. After introducing yourself and company, pass on the microphone to our plenary speaker. You will also be recognized as the sponsor on the signage for the event.

Post Conference CD The 2016 Annual Training Conference will be available on DVD after the meeting. Session recordings include all materials. General Session slides are synchronized with the audio. Your company name/logo will be prominently displayed on the DVD.

Post Conference Workshop* Take advantage of this opportunity to connect with attendees who are eager to learn and gain valuable information about the selected topic. The sponsor will be responsible for providing a speaker and topic for the session, which is subject to approval by the NPELRA ATC committee.

Sponsor Stamp Cards / Sponsor’s Drawing We encourage all attendees to visit each and every one of the present sponsors! Every attendee is provided with a stamp card with all NPELRA sponsors listed with the direction to visit each sponsor and have their card stamped. These cards are then turned into NPELRA to be used in a prize drawing held at the Tuesday PM break. Sponsors are invited to raffle off prizes, and will be given an opportunity to do so at the break.

Tuesday Luncheon (exclusive to Platinum sponsors!)* Need more time in front of the conference attendees and decision makers? You will have an opportunity to highlight new ideas or products/services in an educational setting to a smaller group of attendees, specially invited by you! NPELRA will provide the space, and a maximum of $5,000 for the lunch costs. The number of attendees able to attend is subject to the limitations of the room available. Sponsor to provide the content/speaker, and to personally invite attendees.

Tuesday Night Celebration (exclusive to Platinum sponsors!) Entertain our conference attendees and your networking connections by sponsoring the Tuesday Night Celebration. This evening function will include dinner and entertainment, and is always a well attended function. You will have the opportunity to greet attendees as they arrive, and mingle with them as the night progresses. Welcome Reception A well-attended reception to kick off the conference, where refreshments and hors d’oeuvres are offered for all conference attendees. This great networking opportunity signals the start of the conference, and is an opportunity to welcome attendees and begin the networking process. Terms and Conditions / Details for Exhibitors/Sponsors

1. Location of exhibit area is determined by NPELRA. Exhibits must be available for viewing by conference attendees beginning at April 18, 2016 @ 7:00 am through April 19, 2016 @ 3:00 pm. No early departures.

2. All arrangements for Internet and electrical power must be made directly with the hotel. Please contact the hotel directly. NPELRA assumes no responsibility for expenses incurred for electrical, telephone or other utility hookups and usage.

3. It is in your best interest to return the completed contract with payment to NPELRA as soon as possible to reserve your exhibit/advertising space.

4. As a sponsor/exhibitor, you are provided a 6 ft cloth covered table and 2 chairs. Should you need additional equipment or services, please contact the hotel directly.

5. NPELRA assumes no liability for damage, loss or theft of any property owned by the exhibitor or its agents. By authorizing this contract with a signature, the exhibitor hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless NPELRA, its officers, directors, employees and agents for any and all claims arising out of such damage.

6. To receive sponsorship benefits, exhibitor/sponsors must meet deadlines for submission of exhibitor/sponsor contract. To be included in the conference registration brochure or the conference badge book, advertising art must be received by NPELRA by the deadline listed on this form. Late submissions cannot be accepted and sponsorship commitments cannot be altered or refunded once the contract is signed and submitted to NPELRA.

7. To register for the conference, complete the contract at the end of this packet. Send it to NPELRA along with your payment. If you would like to hold your sponsorship with a credit card, but actually pay by check, please note that in the payment section. If the check payment has not been received by 1/31/2016, your credit card will be charged.

8. Exhibit space is assigned/selected according to sponsorship level and the date a contract/payment is received by NPELRA. NPELRA reserves the right to make and/or change table locations at any time as deemed necessary.

9. NPELRA adheres to a right of first refusal process for organizations who have supported particular programs or activities the previous year. This means that the previous year’s supporter is given the option of confirming support of the same program or activity at next year’s meeting before sponsorship of that function can be offered to another organization. Because some activities cannot happen without support, it is necessary to confirm funding at the earliest possible date in order to stay ahead of planning schedules. Previous sponsors, therefore, have until 9-4-15 to confirm their interest in supporting the same programs for the 2016 Annual Training Conference.
