Eric Edelstein iscurrentlythePresidentfortheRenoAces,Triple-Aaffiliateofthe Arizona Diamondbacks and USL Reno 2017, the future professional soccer franchiseinReno.OwnedbySKBaseball,withrealestatemagnateHerbSimonasmanagingpartner,hesupervisesallbusiness,baseball,andsocceroperationsofthefranchisesatAcesBallparkinReno.

Inhisfirsttwoseasonsatthehelm,theAceshaveachievedfranchiserecordsin the important revenuestreamsof sponsorshipsalesandgroupevents. Inaddition,theAceshavelaunchedasignificantnon-baseballeventsplan,witha

Dr. Ahmad Itani is a professor and the chair of the Civil and Environmental EngineeringDepartmentattheUniversityofNevada,Reno.Prof.ItanijoinedtheCEEdepartmentin1994.HeisregisteredProfessorEngineerintheStatesofNVandCAandStructural Engineer in theStateofCA. Hismainareasofresearch and teaching interests include: the analysis and design of bridge structures, evaluation and rehabilitation of bridges, seismic assessment andretrofit of bridges and steel structures, earthquake-resistant design of steelstructures,andthedevelopmentoflarge-scalestructuraltestingtechniques.Hewas the 2011 recipient of the AASHTO/AISI Richard S. Fountain Award. He

conducted large-scale experiments on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, including the Western andthenewEasternSpans;theRichmondSanRafaelBridge;theMasconeCenterinSanFrancisco;andtheUCLAHospital.Hedevelopedandtestedanewseismicframingsystem,theSpecialTrussMomentFrame,thatisnowpartoftheIBCandtheAISCSeismicProvisions.HisresearchhasbeenfundedbytheCaliforniaDepartmentofTransportation,FederalHighwayAdministration,andtheAmericanIronandSteelInstitute.HehasconductedmanyshortcoursesontheseismicanalysisanddesignofsteelplategirderbridgestomanystatedepartmentofTransportation.HeisfellowmemberofASCEsince2004.

Kristina Swallow is a Program Manager in the Public Works Department of the CityofLasVegas. In that role sheoverseesa teamofengineers responsiblefor public infrastructure development, varying from roads to parks and trails to floodcontrolandsanitarysewersystems.Herteamalsoincludesmanagementof the Special Improvement District Program. Since joining the City, shealso served as one of City’s lobbyists in Carson City during the 2013 Nevada Legislative Session. Prior to joining the City, she spent three years on theCongressionalstaffofSenatorTomUdall,workingontransportationpolicyandotherinfrastructureissues.

Swallow’sinvolvementwithASCEincludesservingastheASCECongressionalFellow.SheiscurrentlyontheTransportationPolicyCommitteeandservesasaGovernorontheUtilityEngineeringandSurveyingInstitute.Previously,shewastheRegion8Director,PresidentoftheNevadaSectionandamemberandChairmanoftheNevadaStateInfrastructureReportCardCommittee.OtheraccomplishmentsincludereceivingtheASCEEdmundFriedmanYoungEngineerAwardandbeingrecognizedastheAlumnaoftheYearbytheUniversityofNevada,LasVegas’HowardR.HughesCollegeofEngineering.

She received her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Arizona in 1994 and her master’sdegreeincivilengineeringfromtheUniversityofNevada,LasVegasin2004.

SwallowishappilymarriedtofellowcivilengineerDavid.Shelovestorun,bike,travel,eat,and,inthepastyear,hastakenupaerialfitness.

John Bonnett isthecurrentPresidentofASCETruckeeMeadowsBranch.John’sinvolvementwithASCEbeganin2012whenheservedasaDirectoratLarge.TypicalfortheTruckeeMeadowsBranch,hethenservedasSecretary,Treasurer,President-Elect,andnowPresident.Inadditiontoadministeringhisdutiesandsupporting local ASCE events, for two years he also hosted the semi-annualASCEP.E.ReviewCourse,supportinglocalengineersinpreparationfortheCivilP.E.Exam.Morerecently,JohnattendedthePresidentsandGovernorsForumatASCEHeadquarters in Reston, VA. In addition tomeeting and learning fromfellowengineersfromaroundthenation,healsohadtheopportunitytomeet

OutsideofworkJohnenjoysanyformofathletics(especiallygolf),hiking,andisalsoanavidsportsfan.JohnalsoenjoysspendingqualitytimewithhisfamilyandindoingsosupportinglocalBoyScoutTroop443andFlipsGymnastics.
