CEO, Construction Project Management & Principle Contractor
Responsibilities:
Appointed as Principal Contractor of the 177 unit Lilyfield Sectional Title project in Midrand.
Project consist of 8 x three storey blocks. Project duration 18 month with completion in
August 2016.
Principle Agent & Project Manager for various improvement projects on the Silver Lakes golf
estates which includes the following: construction of new restaurant and retail areas, and

upgrade of clubhouse, new estate entrance gate, various bridges on the estates, parking
areas and cart paths. Project duration 9 months with completion April 2016.
Principle Contractor on the revamp and construction of 77 apartments in a 5,000m2 office
building in Bruma, Johannesburg. Project duration 6 months with completion August 2016.
Achievements:
Signed JBCC 6.1 PBA agreement with the developer Nelesco as the Principle Contractor to
construct the 177 sectional title residential units. Over and above the responsibilities of
Principle Contractor, was also tasked to execute all aspects of construction management
namely contract-, cost-, facility-, procurement-, progress-, quality-, resource-, risk-, safety-
and time management. Every block has been completed in time, under budget and to the
required quality.
Signed JBCC 6.1 PBA with the developer Ezulwini Property Developments to do the revamp
and construction of 77 residential apartments in a 5,000m2 office building. Dispite the fact
that the Client requested a very short contract period of only 6 months, it was achieved in
time and in budget.

Achievements:
Resigned from the employment at Stocks & Stocks in order to start up a development- ,
project- and construction management business in Gauteng South Africa.
Various residential developments in Woodhill Golf Estate, Mooikloof Equestrian Estate,
Centurion Golf Estate, Silver Lakes Golf Estate and other up market residential areas. Scope
of work included various residential homes in access of over 1,000m² and 3 storey’s high.
Project Management of the new head office for Momentum Insurers in Centurion Gauteng.
The developer of this high spec IT building was Rand Merchant Bank Properties. Project
value at the time in access of R150 million. Project completion date 9 June 2000. Subsequent
to the completion of the project, completed various other projects for Momentum namely
clubhouse & entertainment area, new parking facilities and various maintenance projects.
Project management of a warehouse project for a client of the Bank of Thailand in
Johannesburg Gauteng.
Renovation and restoration of a historical building in Arcadia, Pretoria Gauteng.
Appointed as the development manager for African Access Holdings to obtain the
development rights and environmental approvals for the L’Agulhas Links residential golf
estate on the southernmost tip of the African Continent. The rights included a 100 room
hotel and spa, 120 golf lodges, 229 village residential units, 332 residential homes and 18
hole Peter Matchovic championship golf course and club house.
To secure, negotiate and purchase the 154 hectares of African Renaissance development
land east of Pretoria Gauteng. Managed professional team to obtain environmental
authorizations, township establishment approvals and all building authorizations to develop
the property. The approvals included the following rights:
61,000m2 regional retail centre with full business 1 rights with garage and fast food
section
4,985 residential units.
4,500m2 Indaba commercial office park.
Negotiated property swop agreement with International Equity Fund for 12,215hectares
of development land.
Manage all town planning and sub-division processes and transfer of African
Renaissance land.
Build various luxury homes on Silver Lakes Golf Estate Pretoria Gauteng.
Manage company contracts between international and local partners.
Manage board meetings and corporate governance of company with international listed
fund as partner.
Manage corporate leasing for Expat of multi international companies.

Managed the process with the I&AP to obtain Guest House development rights inside the
Silver Lakes Golf Estate.
Define, prepare and manage the approval of the new master plan for the Silver Lakes
Clubhouse facilities by the shareholders. Master plan included golf operations and
restaurant facilities.

The Lunen Court Student housing sectional title development in Hillcrest Pretoria for Stocks
& Stocks as developer and project manager.
An affordable housing project for South African Government at Temba Kdube, Northern
Province, South Africa.
1994 – 1995: Appointed as a Director at Stocks and Stocks and was tasked to open offices in
Richards Bay, Kwa-Zulu Natal for the National developer. The construction of the Alusaf
Hillside Aluminium smelter, result in a huge demand for residential developments and
warranted the opening of offices in Kwa-Zulu Natal.
