We are really grateful to parents for their attention, responsibility, for their creativity and uniqueness presenting the national cuisine. Their enthusiasm was a good example to their own children. We felt that parents did their best while hosting their guests, Comenius partners. All of us had the best time. We had an opportunity to realize that international Comenius Project provides a good chance to travel, communicate, find new culture and people. Vida, project coordinator


Participation in the activities of the Comenius project was very advantageous. Fulfilling different tasks and organizing various activities I have gained new information and knowledge, I have developed teaching skills, got acquainted with educational patterns in European countries. I have observed and organized lessons in France. I have learned and used new teaching methods, as well as developed new ideas and ways for teacher’s work. Daiva, Biology teacher

During the meeting I was interested in the ways of creating warm atmosphere in the classroom; moreover, I have got acquainted with new people. I have shared my experience and strengthened the feeling of tolerance. It was really very interesting to visit the historical and cultural sites of France, to listen to the French language, to find out about customs, traditions, everyday life. What is more, I have had a chance to speak a foreign language. The activities of the project were beneficial, they could be called the lessons of socialization which helped to get rid of stereotypes and nourish self-esteem. Nijolė, primary teacher


It is really very good to have Comenius project, which provides our children with an opportunity to

travel, to get to know other countries, to meet peers from different cities, to communicate and to feel equal. Our children felt very well during the

Comenius partnership has provided us with an opportunity to find out about educational systems and methods of various countries. I have attended the lessons with Turkish children and seen how they were learning. I have gained some experience and understood some features of education in Turkey. As far as I knew that I would stay in Turkish family, I prepared for the visit: learnt many English words which were useful for communication. The topic of the project includes arts, languages, natural and cultural heritage. It is an interesting approach both for teachers and students. The project is of great theoretical and practical value. While caring out the activities of the project we have put much effort in pedagogical area: all the countries presented their practices and experience in teaching the gifted students as well as pupils who have special educational needs. We have presented our experience in evaluating students’ knowledge and skills. All the participating countries have talked about the management of their schools, about the ways of organizing work at school and in classroom. One of the most interesting activities of the project was creating of videos. So we have learnt how to make short films. All the project partners have chosen creative and inventive approach to present their schools to partners. All of the project participants have created films or video presentations. In Loatlands, England, we observed the lessons. We were impressed by school’s tradition to hold a meeting every Friday. Principal of the school congratulated those students who celebrated their birthdays, those who had made some progress in learning, who behaved very well. At English school we observed very warm and kind relationship among teachers and students. Laura, a student


All of us are impressed by the kindness, warmth and hospitality of our partners. Despite the problems, difficult situations in some pars of the countries all the teachers and students smiled, talked to their guests, prepared national dishes. Raminta, a student


When I came to Turkey, I saw kind and sincere people. They love to communicate, to enjoy their spare time. During the visit we had many memorable moments. We were impressed by the nature, mountains and people. It was very interesting to see Turkish national dances, to hear songs, and to understand that young people appreciate them a lot. Parents of the family I have stayed with could not speak English but they tried to know me and my country. Dovaine, a student

Most of all I was impressed by nature, culture, traditions and communication with us. We stayed in Turkey only six days but it was enough to understand that I had found new friends. I spent nice days in the Turkish family. Thank them a lot. Brigita, a student
