Help improve the quality of life and the environment by having a tree planted in one of your Dyer Parks to remember or honor a person or organization. A minimum donation of $200 will purchase a tree. You may designate the park but Dyer Parks & Recreation will determine the exact location. Trees are planted each fall. As part of your donation, the person’s name, year of donation and park will be added to one of the Living Tree Memorial plaques on display at the Dyer Town Hall.
Park Bench Memorials are also available. For a donation of $750 we will install a park bench with a plaque on the seat back of the bench in a park of your choice. Exact locations will be determined by sta but suggestions are welcome. For more information on either program contact Dyer Parks & Recreation at (219) 865-2505.
