DeSales University features highly skilled, experienced and licensed coaches at all ofits camps. These coaches are committed to helping young players build skillsas well as increase speed and agility. Their philosophy is to encourage a love andunderstanding of the game and improve overall ability in a fun, safe environment.

George Crampton, camp director, has been the DeSalesUniversity head men’s soccer coach for 16 years. He has ledthe team to four Freedom Conference titles in 2005, 2006,2007 and 2010 and into the first round of the NCAA playoffs

in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2010. In 2011, theteam advanced into the second roundfor the first time in the program’shistory. In 2008, Crampton becamethe first coach in DeSales Universitysoccer history to record 100+ wins.Named Freedom ConferenceCoach of the Year in 2004, 2005,2007 and 2011, Crampton, a

Dublin native, played for theRepublic of Ireland Amateur Team. His

playing career in the US began at MercerCounty Community College where he led the team to theNJCAA National Championship in 1991. In 2010, Cramptonwas named to the Mercer County Community College Hall ofFame. At Elizabethtown College, he won two MACChampionships and was named MAC MVP in 1994. Twiceduring his college career he was named an All-American.Crampton coached and played at the professional level forthe Reading Rage. He holds the National Soccer CoachesAssociation of America (NSCAA) National, Advanced andPremier Coaching Diplomas, passing all with distinction. He isthe Pennsylvania Technical Director and a National Staff Coachfor the NSCAA and served as a clinician during their 2011 and2013 national convention. He holds the Union of EuropeanFootball Association “UEFA” A License, the second highestsoccer certification in the world. George is the U10 girls coachfor Western Lehigh Soccer Club where he trains his daughter. •••Coach Tony Billone completed 12 seasons as head coach ofthe girl’s soccer program at Notre Dame High School inBethlehem. He is a DeSales alumnus, graduating in the class

of 2000 with a bachelor’s in sportsmanagement after playing andserving as captain on the men’ssoccer team. Following graduation,Billone served as assistant coachfor one year before joining theNotre Dame staff. Billone holds theNSCAA Regional and AdvancedRegional Coaching Diplomas.

Coach Padraic Farrell joins coach Crampton’s staff for hisfirst year as the graduate assistant coach.He graduated from DeSales in thespring of 2013 with a degree ininternational business and will bepursuing an MBA with a focus inmanagement. During his timewith the Bulldogs from 2009-12,he appeared in 48 games totalingseven goals and 11 assists for 25points. He was named to the All-Freedom Conference Second-Team asa senior in 2012 when he led DSU in scoringwith six goals and eight assists for 20 points. Farrellattended Parkland High School and currently resides inAllentown, PA. He played soccer in the NPSL with FC Sonicand Pocono Snow and currently trains and provides privateinstruction to over 15 athletes and two local teams.•••Tyler Nolan returns to the staff for hissecond season after serving as astudent assistant coach last yearas he finished his degree as ahistory education major.

He played four years for theBulldogs finishing his careerranked tied for sixth in gamesplayed with 79 and tied forseventh with 20 career assists.Nolan also tallied nine career goals as adefender and helped DSU compile a 49-24-7 recordwinning one Freedom Conference Championship in 2010.

Nolan was named to the All-Freedom Conference Second-Team as a sophomore and First-Team as both a junior andsenior. He earned ECAC South Region Second-Teamhonors as a junior and First-Team honors as a senior andwas named to the NSCAA All-Region Second-Team as asenior.
