We are the West Coast Eagles Football Club and we look forward to engaging with your business to discuss future commercial opportunities. This booklet will provide you with an introduction to our proud club, history of success, brand scope and an overview of key assets available in 2015.

From 2015 onwards, we enter a rare window of opportunity in all facets of the club with a unique range of sponsorship assets yet to be secured. The West Coast Eagles are embarking on a significant transition phase over the next few years with a range of key projects. Firstly, a new era of players and coaches continue to spread their wings at the West Coast Eagles building a formidable combination to regain our high level of achievement in the AFL competition. Secondly, the club is eagerly undertaking the development of Lathlain Park as the future home of the West Coast Eagles. Finally, the club is actively involved in the planning and operations of the new Perth Stadium and we look forward to taking AFL to the Burswood Peninsula in 2018.

Since its inception in 1986, the West Coast Eagles Football Club has become widely recognised as one of Australia’s most successful sporting franchises. Through its strong tradition of professionalism, leadership, and passion the club has appeared in 18 finals series from 1987 to 2013. The most of any other AFL team within the same timeframe, competing in 5 grand finals for three premierships in the last 27 years.

The landscape of Australian football was changed forever on September 26, 1992 when the West Coast Eagles became the first non-Victorian club to win the premiership. West Coast again tasted the ultimate victory in 1994 cementing the clubs status in the AFL. It would be 12 years and 18 finals matches before the club reclaimed the Holy Grail. The rivalry between the West Coast Eagles and Sydney Swans is perhaps the most intriguing in modern football history, the clashes between the sides in the mid-2000s typically decided by two goals or less. The most memorable of those matches are the grand finals of 2005 and 2006, with Sydney winning the first by four points and West Coast reaping its revenge the following year by a single point.

Off the field, the club is also known for kicking goals, with the ability to retain its large and loyal membership base, while recording healthy operating profits. This success, coupled with the clubs reputation of business to business networking, is second to none in WA and separates the West Coast Eagles from our competitors.

The West Coast Eagles believe that with success comes social responsibility and the club is extremely proud of its commitment to giving back to the community through a number of programs and initiatives.

REGIONAL ROADSHOW NAMING RIGHTS: Allow the West Coast Eagles to take your brand to the regions and engage with communities throughout Western Australia. Receive naming rights to the extensive regional program including 27 key locations around the state.
