16th European PhD School: Power Electronics, Electrical Machines, Energy Control and Power Systems Angevin Castle, Gaeta - Italy 16th Edition: May 25-29, 2015 European PhD School was founded in 1999 with the goal of providing Ph.D. students with the opportunity to broaden their knowledge in the research areas of Power Electronics, Electrical Machines and Drives, Power Systems. Subsequently, the School has gained an increasing relevance thanks to the participation of highly qualified international lecturers: in 2009 the School obtained the title of “European” Ph.D. School and year by year it increased the number of international students joining the School (100 in 2014!). This year the European Ph.D. School, at the 16th edition, can be considered one of the most important event in Europe involving PhD Students. The winning formula includes not only theory and application oriented lectures but, also, direct interactions of participant PhDs to establish cross-border cooperation, meetings with international companies oriented to research cooperation and recruitment, social and group events. Venue for 2015 edition: the ancient Angevin Castle in the beautiful seaside town of Gaeta, Italy.
