Pluto is passed by the Moon twice, Plus is opposite the Sun this Month
This month begins with a Full Moon near Pluto and then at then at the end of the month the Moon passes Pluto again.
Plus, Pluto reaches opposition to the Sun on July 6. This collective activation will be especially potent for those who
have Planets, Angles or Nodes between 12 and 16 degrees of Capricorn, Aries, Libra and Cancer as you are in a personal
Pluto Initiation. Pluto Initiations are a time when we are taken deep into our own interior to face the demons, fears,
uncertainties, and doubts that are holding us back from being our true selves.
This often shows up as the ending of a way of life. It might be a relationship, a job, a point of view, and or a belief
system that needs to die, as this is about dying to who you believe yourself to be and being reborn to who you truly
are. A useful reminder during any active Pluto aspect is the old saying: when one door closes another opens...
But it’s Hell in the Hallway
This is a potent description of the Pluto process. One of the challenges we might face during a Pluto time is standing in
front of that closed door, furiously knocking on it, perhaps kicking it, or maybe even trying to shoulder it or crowbar it
open or in some other way demand that closed door reopen. It can feel like a reprimand, punishment or mistake when
that door closes. However, from another point of view it is intended to be an empowerment, a time for letting go of
what was, and being open to new possibilities and opportunities even if we can’t see them yet.
Many years ago, in the late 1980’s, when my first marriage was ending I did everything I could think of to save it. I
didn’t know about Pluto then, but it turns out I was in a very personal Pluto cycle. If I had known the intent of the cycle
was to empower me into a new direction that was more aligned with my soul’s journey I wouldn’t have fought the
ending that was so needed. In fact, in subsequent Pluto cycles this information has been invaluable and helped me get
through with much less pain and agony, even though it was still Hell in the Hallway. The gift of knowing the intent is
trusting that a new door is opening and its more aligned with who you are growing to be.
So if you find yourself holding on to an old way of life that is dying, the best strategy is to let go, surrender, and trust
that when you do – even though your time in the Hallway is less than fun - it is not as rough as it otherwise would be!
Just know that grieving your losses at this time is part of the journey and part of the art of surrendering.

July 2015 Sky (see daily Timings for details)
Our two brightest planets in the evening sky this month are Venus
and Jupiter staying surprisingly close together for all of July. Both
Venus and Jupiter move close to Regulus, the bright heart star of the
Lion and on July 18 the Crescent Moon joins this triple gathering of
these two planets near the magical Behenian Star Regulus. These two
planets move beyond 2° of each other on July 4 when Venus is about 7°
to the lower right of Regulus in Leo. Venus then comes within 3° of
Regulus from July 11 to 18.
Venus is also enjoying her brightest magnitude of -4.7° for most of the
month. Jupiter dims from magnitude -1.8 to -1.7 during July.
Remember the lower the number the brighter the magnitude.
Venus makes her closest approach to Regulus on the evening of July 14
blazing just two or 3° from the first magnitude star. (see July 14, 18, 19,
25, 31)
On the night of July 18 the thin Crescent Moon is only one and a half degrees from Venus and the Moon, Venus, Jupiter
and Regulus fit into a circle diameter of 7°. Definitely worth seeing if you have clear skies!
This magnificent grouping is only 10 to 12° above the horizon for
about an hour after sunset. Depending on your latitude you may
need binoculars to see them. The waxing Crescent Moon is within 2°
of Venus appearing above Venus and Regulus and they will both be
above Jupiter and to the right.
(see Star Maps in the full written version of the Timings)
Venus and Jupiter set two hours and 20 minutes after the Sun as
July begins and by the end of the month Venus is setting about 30
minutes after the Sun while Jupiter stays in the sky another half
hour. Venus stations retrograde on July 25 returning to conjunct
Jupiter on July 31.
Saturn is visible in the South after sunset still moving back towards
the stars of the scales in the last month of its retrograde as Saturn
stations direct on August 1 or 2 depending on your time zone.
Mercury is visible in the early morning sky until about mid-month
when it disappears on the other side of the Sun. As this month begins Mercury is rising about 75 minutes before the
Sun. On the morning of July 16 Mars is only 1/10th of a degree North of Mercury but the conjunction is too close to the
Sun to see. Both Mercury and Mars rise about 45 minutes before the Sun, though Mercury is much brighter than Mars
shining at magnitude -1.5 while Mars is at +1.6 meaning Mars is lost in the glow of the sunrise.
2015 July Celestial Timings by Cayelin K Castell
www.cayelincastell.com Page 3
Mercury joins the Sun on July 23 so NOT visible in either the morning or
evening sky from July 16 to August 1.
Earth reaches aphelion on July 6 at 12:41 PM PDT. This is when the
Earth is as far from the Sun as it gets in its annual cycle. Plus this month
features the Dog Days of Summer. (see July 3, 4, 5, 6)
The Moon is full twice this month on July 1 and July 31 but this is NOT a
Blue Moon as is commonly thought - here’s why. The waning Crescent
Moon is visible in the Hyades star cluster at dawn on July 12 just a few
degrees to the upper right of the bright royal star Aldebaran. On July 12
those living in Japan at Northeast Siberia and the far North of North
America will see the Moon occult (cover) Aldebaran in this series of 49
that began in January.
The waxing Gibbous Moon is to the upper right of Saturn on the
evening of July 25 and to the left of Saturn on July 26.
On July 22 the First Quarter Moon is about 7° to the right of Spica on
the 22nd and about a similar distance to the upper left on the 23rd.
On July 25 the dwarf planet Ceres reaches opposition to the Sun. AND
the waxing Gibbous Moon is just a few degrees from retrograde Saturn
now back in the Scales. July 30 is the peak of the Delta Aquarid
Meteor Shower obscured by the almost Full Moon.

on guided journey through the Leo Venus Morning and Evening Star Cycle, a profound initiation
of descent and renewal. Details are here http://venusalchemy.com/venus-initiation-teleclass-
series/
The descent tale of the Sumerian Goddess Inanna is literally patterned after the Venus Cycle and over
the course of this Morning and Evening Star Venus Teleclass Series you will be given a rare
opportunity to recreate this sacred ceremony in your own life.
Morning Star Venus Teleclass Series August 2015 to March 2016 we embark on the
Descent through Inanna’s Seven Chakra Gates, triggered by monthly Venus Moon conjunctions. At
each gate you are provided tools, activations, and meditations to clear distortions around the Chakra
being activated, to support full access to your inner Leo Goddess.
Thank you dear Cayelin and Tami for the fabulous tele class and handouts and the amazing
way you are holding this space for all of us….it is so inspiring! ~Kathleen McIntire
This class is fantastic. I think that the two of you are AMAZING, or should I say AMAZON WOMEN, for giving and sharing
with us. My brain and heart are in full gear for the new beginning. I bow to the wonder in both of you. ~Emma Waner
I am so thankful for this tele-course. Without it, I would be going through all of this and have no idea why or that others
were experiencing similar things or how to handle it all....I am awe-struck at the caliber of people responding and
sharing. WOW!!! As a teacher, to have this kind of response between students was always considered the best. I sense
that something truly remarkable is happening here. Despite all the chaos and discord going on for me, I am looking
forward to see how this all turns out for us all. It feels very magical. I believe we are in the embryo stages of a
miracle. Hugs, Karen
I am so glad I am taking this course and am in this community. It probably has saved my sanity and brought me such
pleasure in learning the story of Inanna. Having this teaching has made the journey into the underworld through the
chakras so rich. I have so loved what you have shared here...~Adele

July 2015 Daily Celestial Timings All times are PDT unless otherwise specified
July 1, Wednesday. The Capricorn Full Moon (09°Capricorn55') is exact at 7:20 pm.
This Full Moon illumination features the mysteries of what it takes to create a
sustainable reality that serves many future generations as well as honoring the
generations that have come before us. Any Full Moon is a time to notice what is coming
to fruition, to fullness, to a point of light, or is ready to shine even more brightly?
This Full Moon is with retrograde Pluto (14 Capricorn 23) so is also activating and
illuminating the shadow and one of the primary challenges of the Capricorn archetype
in a world that has an out of control doing addiction to multi-tasking, beliefs that you
must work hard to get anywhere or to be successful according to an external standard
that says the more you accomplish, the more money you make the greater your value.
The reality is that Capricorn actually works from a place of efficiency.
The question Capricorn is most interested in is how to accomplish the most beneficial results for the least amount of
effort, or how to be most effective and efficient so that basic needs are met and there is time for lasting creative
endeavors that are fulfilling and fun. What would take for that to happen in your life? You don’t need to know the
answer but if you are open to the question the answer will reveal
itself. It may take time but it will reveal itself.
Venus is conjunct Jupiter (21°Leo37') at 12:51 am, within a third of
the degree. Jupiter bears witness to Venus as she is reclaiming her
royal heritage as described in the story of Inanna. Interestingly, with
both Jupiter and Venus in Leo the whole royalty thing is expanded
exponentially. This isn’t royalty from a place of entitlement or having
others serve you but rather from a place of genuine healthy self-love
and respect that then genuinely loves and respects others as well as
the Earth. See EarthSky Article on Venus and Jupiter. See the June 2015 Archives for more.
The Sun (09°Cancer43') is trine retrograde Neptune (09°Pisces43') 2:10 pm. Whenever an outer planet is trine the Sun
it has either just stationed retrograde or is about to station direct. In this case, Neptune stationed retrograde on June
12 at 09 Pisces 49 and has moved only 6 minutes in the last 20 days meaning it is basically hanging stationary in the sky
or stopped from the Earth's perspective.
This is the Still Point that opens a portal to the infinite source of all creation represented by the Sun. In the Neptune
Still Point we have an opportunity to tap into the vast expanse of the Celestial Realm for insight, inspiration and
connection to the All of life. It is a perfect time to meditate, journey, dance, or some other healthy practice that helps
you go into an altered dream state to access the guidance and information within you.
The asteroid Juno (O Virgo) is passing 1° SSW of Regulus, the royal star that marks the heart of the Lion, where there is
a lot of action happening this month. Plus, Venus will pass here three times due to her retrograde (see July 18, 19, 20,
25)

July 2, Thursday. The Moon is conjunct Pluto (14°Capricorn22') at 2:55 am well within the potency of this Capricorn
Full Moon. The Moon is illuminating the shadow of Capricorn and as mentioned yesterday one of the ways that
shadow currently expresses is through our collective Doing Addiction. (Paid Subscribers may want to Listen or re-listen
to Doing Addiction Audios for deeper understanding)
This is the time to reflect on what is being illuminated in your life around your habits of Doing? Are you doing what you
do for fear of not having enough? Or do you do what do because you are afraid you are not good enough? Or do you
do what you do to distract yourself from facing your fears? Or do you do what you do because you love doing it and it
brings a sense of satisfaction and fulfillment?
Doing is a part of life but what motivates your doing? It is similar to how
eating is part of what sustains our life and yet when it is out of control and
over done or under done it creates health risks. If you find through
examining your habits of Doing that you are overdoing, doing from fear,
doing to avoid what you feel or taking a deeper look at your life and
justifying that by the great deeds you do, or you are underdoing do to fear of
failure or not being good enough, then now is the time to use that
awareness to make more conscious holistic choices for yourself.
It might be as simple as not taking on any more projects, until you release or
complete with some of the things you are already doing. Maybe it is committing to completing a project that is
dragging on and taking a lot of time and energy, freeing you to create more Fun that is not about producing a
measurable result or avoiding something.
Mercury (20°Gemini17') is sextile Uranus (20 Aries) at 11:58 am. This enhances mental processes that are connected
to the celestial realms and bigger picture of point of view or cosmic perspective. You may even find yourself thinking
thoughts you haven’t thought before or thinking in new ways that
are inspired and unexpected.
July 3, Friday. The Dog days of summer are said to be from July 3
to August 11. This is the time when the stars of Canis Major and
Canis Minor are with the Sun. AND Sirius, a.k.a the Dog Star is not
visible due to the Sun being in this area of the sky. The Taoist see
the Sun as a gateway, so in this case the Sun is open the door to
the Sirius mysteries. The Sun with Sirius was an important factor
that figured into the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
The founding fathers of the United States were well aware of the
Timing they chose for that bold revolutionary act.
The Moon moves into Aquarius at 5:21 AM energizing the mysteries that revolutionize consciousness in ways that
bring about innovative, radical change in support of egalitarian ideals, especially the one that says everyone has the
right to take responsibility for their own spiritual and evolutionary path. This perspective means we do not need
anyone to intercede on our behalf in our relationship with Spirit. We have the power to have our own direct
connection with the divine and it is up to us to embrace this miracle and take responsibility for that connection.

Mercury (21°Ge31') is square retrograde Chiron (21°Pi31') at 8:06 am and sextile to Jupiter (22°Leo 08') at 5:54 pm.
This is an interesting combination of expansive Shamanic Healing possibilities around the perceptions of the mind that
limit our experience of this reality.
Plus, Mercury is passing the belt of Orion, also known “as the String of Pearls.” Pearls
are associated with the feminine principle, the Moon, wisdom and perfection, the third
eye of Buddha, pure intentions and represent the crystallization of light, enlightenment,
the generative power of the waters. Mercury is a messenger bringing the messages from
the stars directly into our awareness when we open to receive them. (*The Living Stars by
Dr. Eric Morse **An Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Traditional Symbols by J.C. Cooper)

July 4, Saturday. Happy Independence Day for USA. This historic day anchored a
conscious intention of Independence for our planet, not just for the United States. Those
currently in the United States government have clearly strayed a long way from this
original intent. It is up to “we the people” to choose to live by these noble principles and
as we do it will be reflected in our collective global experience including our
governments.
Each year around July 4 the Sun is zodiacally aligned with the fixed star Sirius, the
brightest fixed star in our sky. Although Sirius is invisible now due to its proximity to the
Sun the Sun acts as a doorway to the Sirian mysteries. Sirius was described as “the Great Star of Initiation” by M.
Temple Richmond in his book Sirius. Richmond suggests entering “humbly
and reverentially into meditative contemplation of Sirius, the custodian of
occult mystery, for in contemplating this great star-being, we encounter a
sacred source of transcendence.”
The Sun reaches 14 Cancer (the same degree as Sirius) on July 6 and will
become visible again around August 7. (See July 3, 4 and 5)
In one of the 37 Maxims of Ptahotep the message of Sirius is to Follow the Heart for as
long as you live as the physical heart retains the greatest sensitivity to the
harmonizing, archetypal forces of Sirius. The heart is our "listening place" for the
Sirian/Isian messages of Eternal Love, Knowledge, and Understanding.
The following India Myth about Sirius and the importance of the Dog Star’s reminds of the importance of following our
hearts.
In India, Sirius is known as Svana, the faithful dog of Prince Yudhistira. The
prince, along with his dog, Svana and his four brothers set out on a long and
arduous journey to find the kingdom of heaven. One by one the brothers
abandoned the search all except for Yudhistira and Svana. At long last they
arrived at the gates of heaven.
The gatekeeper, Lord Indra, welcomed the prince but denied Svana entrance.
Yudhistira was aghast and told Lord Indra that he could not forsake his good

and faithful servant and friend. His brothers, Yudhistira told the Lord, had abandoned the journey to heaven. But the
faithful dog Svana, who had given his heart freely, chose to follow none but Yudhistira. The prince told the Lord that
without his dog, he would forsake even heaven. This is what Lord Indra had wanted to hear. Indra welcomed both the
prince and the dog through the gates of heaven. More HERE and HERE
Around the world Sirius has been seen as a dog or wolf. For example, the ancient Chinese saw this star as a heavenly
wolf. In Sumeria, Babylonia and Chaldea (present day Iraq) the star was known as the "Dog Star that Leads," or it was
called the "Star of the Dog." In Assyria, the "Dog of the Sun." In still older Akkadia, it was the "Dog Star of the Sun."
Tuning into Dog and Wolf medicine as loyal companion and teacher is one way to be open to receive the guidance from
Sirius that is being amplified while the Sun is there.
July 5, Sunday. The Moon moves into Pisces at 7:23 am catching up to retrograde Neptune (09°Pi40') at 11:31 pm.
Neptune and Pisces are archetypal energies associated with the miracles that are possible when we are surrender and
open to NOT knowing. Letting go of what we think we know and the life we have planned for ourselves allows up to
embrace the life that is ours to live in alignment with the miracle of Great Mystery.
It is helpful to be willing to ask questions without having any idea what the answers might be. This is when we might
find the answers are more surprising and wonderful than we could have ever
imagined. In the final lines of the movie “What the Bleep do We Know?” Fred
Alan Wolf reminds us that:
Asking yourself these deeper questions opens up new ways of
being in the world. It brings in a breath of fresh air. It makes life
more joyful. The real trick to life is not to be in the know – but be
in the mystery.
July 6, Monday. Earth is at aphelion today or is now as far away from the Sun
as it will get this year. For those in the Northern Hemisphere this may seem counter intuitive as we are experiencing
our summer months (Dog Days as described on July 3).
The Sun (14°Cancer16') is opposite retrograde Pluto (14°Capricorn16') at
8:36 am marking the mid-point of Pluto’s retrograde cycle. When a planet is
retrograde it symbolizes a deepening process connected to that planetary
energy and the sign it is in. Once each year the Sun and Pluto (the planet of
shamanic initiation) reach opposition signaling a fruition point, a place
where deeper insight, illumination and understanding are possible. This is
especially true when we are open to facing and embracing our deepest fears
for the purpose of transforming them into our greatest teachers in experiencing genuine liberation and transformation.
(see audio on Pluto in Capricorn and scroll down page)
The Moon is conjunct Chiron (21°Pisces29') at 7:17 pm the Shamanic Healer adding to the depth and intensity of
today’s Sun Pluto opposition. Shamanic Healing happens outside of ordinary reality. Using tools like meditation,
journeying, dance, being in nature, or whatever practice helps to get you into an altered state (not drugged induced)
with a specific intention in mind. (see Chiron Article)

July 7, Tuesday. The Moon moves into Aries at 9:37 am (see July 8).
Mars (09°Cancer12') is square Vesta (09°Aries12') 11:59 pm. When the current Mars cycle began Vesta was traveling
with Mars for several months from the end of 2013 to July of 2014. This means Vesta was an important part of the
preparation and beginning for the current Mars journey to rediscover the power of Conscious Equal Partnership with a
beloved as well as with others. We might imagine the theme for the Libra Overtone 2 year journey of Mars is – We are
all in this together!
Mars is now traveling through Cancer as it integrates the Libra story into each of the archetypes during its 2 year
journey. Cancer is about creating a safe space for everyone to show and BE who they are as a family and a community.
This square between Mars and Vesta is an opportunity for the sacred masculine to receive insight and guidance from
the Warrior Priestess in how to engage the Solar Feminine in conscious equal partnership, where each person in the
relationship feels safe, and committed to creating family and community in ways that value all involved.
July 8, Wednesday. Mercury moves into Cancer at 11:52 am passing through the Center of the Sacred Hoop. This
means there may be additional messages available especially in regard to what was activated during last month’s
Solstice. The Transformational Messenger Mercury is accessing information from beyond our Galaxy that is available
when we are open to it? Asking questions and then journaling the answers can be very revealing. A question might be
something like: What are the Galactic Messages available to us now that help to further our life journey? (See July 7
and 10)
Mercury is speeding through the sign of Cancer (not constellation) in just 15 days entering Leo on July 23.
The Last Quarter Moon in Aries (16 Aries 21) is exact at 1:24 pm. This Moon Phase suggests it is a time for taking
inspired decisive action especially when geared toward living your passion and commitment to fulfilling your soul’s
purpose. If you don’t know what your passion or purpose is ask your higher self, through meditating, journeying,
spending time in nature and being open to the answers that may surprise you - especially when we consider the Moon
will occult Uranus and pass by both Vesta and Eris today.
2015 July Celestial Timings by Cayelin K Castell
www.cayelincastell.com Page 10
The Moon passes Vesta (09°Aires12') at 1:13 am and
then occults Uranus (20°Aries 23') at 8:17 pm and
catches up to the Dwarf Planet Eris a couple of hours
later. All of this is activating unexpected opportunities
and miracles that are designed to accelerate
evolutionary change.
Eris (22 Aries 27) is the Greek goddess of Chaos and
Disruption, who was not invited to the party, creating a
change of events that eventual led to the Trojan war.
(See audio on Eris in the Audio Archives – remember
you must be logged in for this link to work and scroll
down page)
Chaos and disruption are a natural part of the evolutionary process leading to a whole new life, and a new way of
navigating this reality. For example, the seed is disrupted to become a shoot, the shoot is disrupted to become a plant.
If the plant has flowers, then first it has a bud that is disrupted to become a flower.
The Last Quarter Moon is a time to synthesize and integrate the previous lunar cycle while
also preparing for the next one. Doing both of these things at once may feel chaotic and
paradoxical, especially as Eris magnifies the chaos. When we invite Eris, or chaos, to work
her magic the possibility that emerges is beyond what we can imagine from the perspective
of our middle world reality.
Mars (09°Cancer38') is trine retrograde Neptune (09°Pisces38') at 3:43 pm. This suggests the sacred Masculine in his
journey to rediscover and evolve conscious equal partnership is getting additional support from beyond everyday
reality. This is supportive of taking time to play in the imaginal realms, paying attention to our day and night time
dreaming, and what we are envisioning. This works especially well when we take time to ask questions and imagine
what life would be like when we are living in cooperation and harmony with one another.
July 9, Thursday. The Moon moves into Taurus 12:49 pm energizing the mysteries that include the gifts of beauty.
Taurus is the mystery school that most recognizes the importance of receiving and
savoring beauty as a path to the divine.
Where shall you seek beauty, and how shall you find her, unless she
herself be your way and your guide? And how shall you speak of her
except she be the weaver of your speech? ~Kalil Gibran
July 10, Friday. Venus (27 Leo) and Jupiter (23 Leo) are very near Regulus, the heart of the Lion. Venus hangs with
Behenian Star Regulus within 6 degrees from July 4 to August 13 and again from September 30 to October 15 due to
Venus going retrograde on July 25 with this star. These weeks of Venus with Regulus is a great to time to ask what does
your heart wants you to know now?
Using the journaling practice described on July 8 here is a message that came through for me sometime back. You may
find this a useful message for you as you tune into your own heart knowing!
2015 July Celestial Timings by Cayelin K Castell
www.cayelincastell.com Page 11
We know your heart. We know your heart. We know your heart…We know the
goodness and kindness of your heart. We know your quest to live from your
heart - to live from the wisdom and knowing of your gentle heart no matter how
challenging your outer circumstances are.
We also know you sometimes feel you are failing when the human hurts you
experience crush your gentle, kind heart... and yet you continue to ask Spirit for
help. You ask Spirit to help you stay in your heart because you are dedicated to
living love even when it feels impossible. This we know. This we understand and
appreciate.
And – we remind you this is the magical, healing elixir - healing you and all those
around you. This is because pure love transforms the shadow of hurt, guilt,
shame, anger, and revenge that otherwise perpetuates more of itself. This is
forgiving the unforgivable to heal the seemingly impossible hurts that exist.
Love is the answer and we know your dedication and courage to keep showing
up – to embrace your fears and transform them with kindness and love. We
know it is more difficult than you ever imagined and we celebrate your
willingness and determination to continue your quest to BE a clear channel of
love and light for the benefit of all life.
July 11, Saturday. The Moon enters Gemini and passes 8.2° South of the Pleiades at 5:16
pm. The Moon in Gemini is where we encounter the mysteries intended to take us beyond
the rational mind into the realm of the heyokah and contrary. Gemini reminds us that our
minds cannot know it all. Letting go of the need to know liberates us from duality and the
experience of separation from the ONE. The Moon in Gemini passing the Pleiades is a time
when we can enter a place that goes beyond the rules and beliefs of the middle world -
where time and space are transcended…
July 12, Sunday. Venus (27 Leo 51) reaches its brightest magnitude -4.5° in this evening
star appearance. That means Venus is as bright as she can get in her current cycle. The
queen of heaven is shining in all her magnificence and glory and is being witnessed by
Jupiter and Regulus.
The Sun 20°Cancer26' is square Uranus 20°Aries26' at 7:53 pm. Whenever an outer planet
is square the Sun it is signaling the time either before its station retrograde or the time
right after it has station direct. In this case, the extreme revolutionary initiator of change,
Uranus, is stationing retrograde on July 26, the day after Venus stations retrograde.
A great way to engage this time of radical change and evolution is to have the courage to
make a leap of faith into the wild unknown. It is far better to actively choose change and create the life you secretly
desire in your heart of hearts than to be forced into a new life that may or may not be what you are imaging.

The Moon occults the Behenian Star Aldebaran (10 degrees Gemini) in the seventh occultation in this series of 49 that
began in January of 2015, lasting until September 3, 2018. This is happening in the evening so Aldebaran and the
waning Moon are not visible until early morning hours. (See June 2015 Archives)
July 13, Monday. Mercury (09°Cancer34') trines retrograde Neptune (09°Pisces34') at 12:14 pm suggesting the
imaginative expressions of the mind are experiencing a wondrous dreamy quality. If you have been spending too much
time in rational, linear left brain reality now is the time to take a break and do some wild daydreaming.
The Sun (21°Cancer23') trines retrograde Chiron (21°Pisces23') 7:53 pm. Chiron stationed retrograde on June 24 so
has been suspended in the sky diving deep into the shamanic healing realms of feeling. This is an aspect that reminds
us that if we can feel it, we can heal it!
Venus 28°Leo34' is square retrograde Saturn 28°Scorpio34' at 11:48 pm bringing to
awareness the limits and blocks we have around healthy self-love so they can be
transformed. Saturn is about form and Scorpio is about alchemy and transformation.
July 14, Tuesday. The Moon moves into Cancer at 2:14 am Eastern time (or at 11:15
pm last night Pacific Time) catching up to Mercury (12°Cancer26') at 10:10 pm. This
means the Moon has passed the Galactic Cross within the Sacred Hoop. This
happens once each month transmitting the mysteries from this part of the sky
included reaching beyond our galaxy. Mercury was just here a few days ago
gathering insights and information that the Moon will help transmit when it catches
up to Mercury tonight.
July 15, Wednesday. The Moon passes 5.8° South of Mars
(13°Cancer52') at 12:50 am. Mars 14°Cancer02' is opposite
retrograde Pluto 14°Capricorn 02' at 7:08 am and Mercury
reaches opposition to Pluto at 4:38 pm followed by the
Mercury Mars Conjunction (14°Cancer26') at 9:14 pm.
The aspects on this day of the Cancer New Moon (23
Cancer14) exact at 6:24 pm places the spotlight on the Cancer
Mysteries. Cancer is about nourishing our entire physical,
emotional, mental and spiritual bodies. At the time of this
Cancer New Moon it can be helpful to ask: how you are
nourishing yourself on a daily basis? What new healthy
practices can you commit to in this New Moon window?
We cannot live without water. Most of us are very likely
dehydrated even if we think we drink lots of water. In this New Moon window you may choose to plant seeds to create
healthy habits of drinking more pure, clean, refreshing water. If you aren’t doing this already it might help to place a
large glass of water by your bed so you can drink it as soon as you wake up in the morning.
You can also place intentions into your water. Perhaps you envision this water as liquid light - filling your body and
washing away whatever is toxic or unhealthy. What a great way to nourish your body and your life!

July 16, Thursday. Mercury and Mars (14°Cancer26') joined together either late last night or at 12:14 am Eastern
Time this morning. This is about taking decisive action toward nurturing and nourishing yourself first and then others.
(see July 15)
The Moon enters Leo at 7:15 am and will catch up to Venus, Jupiter and Regulus (in a couple of days) who are now
within a circle of 5.6° in the evening sky over the next few days. This is about the importance of Love and loving
ourselves. Healthy self-love is a wondrous gift we can give to ourselves and to this life. There is nothing that love
cannot heal or change. Love is the magical answer to what we all are searching for regardless of whether we
remember.
Healthy, pure love is always generous and kind, and is the essential language the heart understands. When we are
coming from our hearts, then we will be guided in the best actions to take for all
concerned. So what can you do to love yourself more - even if you feel you love
yourself a lot already?
July 17, Friday. The waxing New Moon passes 5.5° SSW of the Beehive Cluster.
Though too close to the Sun to be seen, it is still transmitting the mysteries of
this part of the sky. Every year the Sun passes the Beehive at the end of July
though the Beehive is under the beams of the Sun for about a month, or two
weeks on either side of the exact passage.
Still within the New Moon window, with the possibility of seeing the new
Crescent Moon tonight this is a powerful time for tuning into the message of Bee
Medicine. Bees may be small but their medicine is vast.
Bee Medicine reminds us to BE. It reminds us about the sweetness of life. It
reminds us about the natural rhythms of life as Bees have a strong connection to
the cycles of the Sun. For example, the Sun opens the flowers for the bees to
gather the nectar to make honey. When the Sun goes down the flowers close up
and bees return to their hives.
Bees work in community and together they produce honey, or the sweetness of
life. Bees seemingly accomplish the impossible suggesting we can accomplish anything we put our energy and passion
towards.
This crescent New Moon may be visible with the Beehive cluster energizing seeds of intention that support working in
greater harmony with the natural cycles and rhythms of Earth and Sky, including the Sun and Moon.
July 18, Saturday. The Moon passes 4 degrees SSW of Jupiter (25°Leo00') at 7:50 am illuminating and transmitting the
creator light codes helping us to remember we are co-creators of our reality. Jupiter in Leo is all about expanding self-
love and trusting our ability to be creator when we so choose it with awareness.
The Moon enters Virgo at 5:47 pm and Venus enters Virgo at 5:49 pm. The Moon occults Venus (00°Vi01') passing .4°
at SSW at 5:49 pm. Plus, this is the last Venus/Moon conjunction before Venus turns Retrograde on July 27.
2015 July Celestial Timings by Cayelin K Castell

This represents Venus passing through the 8th
gate out of the underworld. Said another way
this is the 8th time the Moon has been with
Venus since she rose as an evening star last
December. AND due to the occultation this
Venus Moon Gate energy is amplified and
accelerated.
This 8th gate reminds us of the possibilities
connected to ascension. When we connect with
the light emanating from the Moon and Venus
either visually or through intention it helps us to
participate consciously in the process of
upgrading our DNA to accommodate the higher
vibrational energies pouring into this physical
dimension.
Ancient texts described the DNA as the carrier of ALL the records and knowledge of who we really are and where we
have been and where we are intended to go. This suggests the DNA also carries the codes of light that help us to
awaken or ascend. In the book, The Keys of Enoch, the DNA is described as literally connecting us to other dimensions
of life and to the Unity Grid of Light or Universal Consciousness.
Physicists have found that light particles or photons instantly communicate with each other over vast distances of
space. Dr. Fritz-Albert Popp, a German researcher on biophotonics discovered our DNA gives off photon light. These
light photons are constantly transmitting and receiving instant communication with other DNA photons.
Our bodies are made of DNA. Our DNA is made of Light so our bodies are made of light, a.k.a. the lightbody. At this
time of the 8th Moon conjunction with Venus as an evening star it may helpful to consciously align with the upgrade of
pure light energy that is available now as it is intended to support the ascension process.
This is especially true for those who have or are turning a multiple of 8 (16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56, 64, 72, 80, 88, 96 and so
on) between January 17, 2014 to August 21, 2015 as you are in a special 8 year Synodic Return of Venus.
The Virgo Moon is transmitting the ancient wisdom of the high priest~ess, the one who knows how to honor life as
sacred and how to co-creatively participate with the weaving of the web of life as it relates to the Capricorn Overtone
of this Venus cycle. This is about the wisdom connected to the Circle of Grandmothers now re-emerging at this Turning
of the Ages – anchoring new ways of honoring the manifestation of new sacred structures that are intended to support
this magical time at the Turning of the Ages.
Mercury 20°Cancer29' is square Uranus 20°Aries29' at 6:07 pm as the transformational messenger connects beyond
ordinary reality with extraordinary potential for receiving sacred knowledge through new messages, new information,
new possibilities, and new creative explorations. Simply being open to and accepting what IS - allows this process to
work its magic in perhaps unexpected ways.

July 19, Sunday. Moon, Venus, and Regulus are in a
circle of about 5.35° with Jupiter nearby. The next
Venus passage by Regulus is after Venus goes
retrograde. Venus returns to Regulus between August
4 – 11 (and is in exact zodiacal alignment on Aug 8 and
9). The final passage of Venus by Regulus this year
occurs from October 6 – 10 with the exact alignment is
on Oct 7.
In the book, Star Names: Their Lore and Meaning,
Richard Hinckley Allen says Regulus is the diminutive
form of the Latin "Rex" (King), and derived from the Greek, "Star of the King." The Akkadians of Mesopotamia referred
to Regulus as the legendary "King of the Celestial Sphere" who ruled before the Great Flood.
According to An Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Traditional Symbols by J. C. Cooper, the Lion is seen as both Solar and
Lunar. As a solar symbol, it represents strength, courage, justice, nobility, and the splendor and power of the noonday
Sun. Other solar symbols have also been associated with war, cruelty, and fierceness. As a Lunar symbol, it is the Great
Mother as Lioness, drawing her chariot. The Lunar Lion is also linked with the Virgin Warrior Goddesses from many
cultures including Tara from Tibet, Sekhmet from Egypt, Kali from India, Artemis and Cybele from Greece, Juno from
Rome, and Ishtar from Babylon. Thus the Lunar Lion also connects with the dark mother, the destroyer and creator,
facilitating death and rebirth.
Regulus then suggests a connection with the sacred union of Masculine and
Feminine, Solar and Lunar, Lion (King) and Lioness (Queen), who are the
guardians of the doors or portals to treasures of knowledge and
understanding. The Lion in the Sky links with the Sphinx on Earth, guarding
the Hall of Records encoded into our DNA.
The Lion is a symbol of golden ages past, when the Radiant and Shining
Ones (the Kings and Queens) walked the Earth with golden auras around them illuminating
balance and harmony with all life. There was peace and plenty for all. This is a time remembered
through myths and stories in nearly every culture on our planet spoken of as Heaven on Earth,
Shamballah, Tula, Camelot, Shangri La, and the Garden of Eden.
It is a time many of us yearn for in our deepest heart’s desire, often expressed in the idea of
Paradise Regained. As the, Venus, Jupiter and the Moon pass by Regulus, they are illuminating
and activating the stellar light codes that carry the imprinting of these golden times.
July 20, Monday. Mercury is passing by the stars Castor and Pollux as it exits the Sacred Hoop.
Mythically Castor and Pollux were inseparable twin brothers. In Edith Hamilton's book
on Mythology she describes Castor and Pollux as riding snow white horses, the guardians of
sailors and they joined in the quest for the golden fleece (a symbol of alchemy and plenty). They
were said to live half their time on Earth and half their time in the golden homes of heaven.
2015 July Celestial Timings by Cayelin K Castell
www.cayelincastell.com Page 16
As the two main stars of the Twins these twin stars represent duality as described by
the good twin/bad twin syndrome. Symbolically these stories speak to the twin nature
of every individual, either divided or united within the self. Mercury passing by here
alerts us to the messages about these issues. What is our own dual nature and is it
integrated within us so that we are whole and happy?
July 21, Tuesday. The Sun (28°Cancer24') trines retrograde Saturn (28°Scorpio24') at 4:08 am illuminating the intent
of Saturn in Scorpio to create new ways of experiencing a more ecstatic and orgasmic life. As mentioned before, any
outer planet trine the Sun has always just stationed retrograde or is about to
station direct. Saturn is within the Still Point portal of its station direct exact on
August 1 moving only 7 minutes between now and then.
From now until August 14 when Saturn repasses this this exact sign and degree we
are in the heart of this Still Point time where anything and everything is possible.
So although Saturn is about Structure and Form – when it is in Scorpio - it is also
about shedding and releasing and dying to all the forms that keep us small and
unfulfilled.
This is time to ask what it would take to live a more passionate fulfilling life? If you are already doing that then how can
your life be even more passionate and fulfilling?
The Moon enters Libra at 6:23 am passing the North Node (03°Libra01') at 12:32 pm whose mysteries include
conscious equal partnership and social etiquette or good manners. These mysteries remind us that how we treat others
is ultimately no different than how we internally treat ourselves. Kindness towards others is kindness towards self. The
fine art of treating others with genuine dignity and respect is a reflection of our own self-treatment.
There is no excuse for bad manners even when stating feelings about our experience and what we perceive is true in
relationship, we can do so without attacking, shaming, belittling, accusing, or being mean. This requires skills that
aren’t readily taught and it requires a willingness to own our part even when we are feeling hurt by someone else.
Finding healthy, constructive, caring ways to communicate our true feelings is liberating and freeing for all concerned.
July 22, Wednesday. Magdalene Feast Day. A 15th century author Jacobus wrote that Mary Magdalene’s name means
“light giver” or “magnificent light giver”. The Moon passes Spica, the brightest star of the Virgin Priestess and the

most celebrated star of the Divine Feminine. Moon and Spica are also magnificent light
givers, giving their light tonight in honor of the Divine Feminine as Magdalene.
Mercury (28°Cancer22') trines retrograde (Saturn 28°Scorpio22') at 10:51 am. This is adding
to the Saturn Still Point bringing in additional messages and insights about how to live the
life that is yours to live with passion and blissful intensity?
Sun enters Leo at 8:31 pm where it remains until Aug 23 illuminating the mysteries of Self-
Love through self-confidence, self-respect, self-approval, and self-acceptance. Consciously
connecting with our inner heart flame, the flame of divine love and acceptance, helps us to
remember the pure essence and truth of who we are and why we are here.
July 23, Thursday. Mercury enters Leo at 5:15 am expressing and communicating from realm of self-love founded in
healthy self-confidence. Unless we are confident that our very existence is a gift to all of life regardless of what we DO
or accomplish - the self-love or self-confidence we experience is fragile at best depending largely on our next
accomplishment. Practicing loving ourselves for who we are right now, regardless of how we may judge ourselves, is a
key for remembering our very existence is a blessing and self-love is the key to truly being able to care for others.
In his book, The Compassionate Life, the Dalai Lama agrees, saying:
Fundamentally, the basis on which you can build a sense of caring for others is the capacity to love yourself.
~His Holiness, the Dalai Lama.
The Moon enters Scorpio at 7:07 pm transmitting the mysteries of death and rebirth, resurrection and renewal, and
empowerment through facing the fears that hold us back and ultimately direct our lives when we are denying them.
Asking questions is how we find answers. These may be helpful questions to contemplate now. “In what ways can I
give myself permission to more fully explore my natural intensity and passion? How can I utilize the power of
forgiveness (of self and others) to assist this process?
The Sun is conjunct Mercury (00°Leo38') at 12:24 pm in Mercury’s psychopomp (or other world) phase. This means
Mercury is in direct contact with pure source energy and the Leo archetype is the one most resonate with the Sun. This
is a time to be open to otherworldly or unusual ways of receiving messages, divination, insight etc. that especially has
to do with how to more fully love yourself and shine your light in the world.
July 24, Friday. The Scorpio First Quarter Moon (00Scorpio59) was exact at 9:04 pm Pacific
last night or at 12:04 am this morning. Some years ago I shared this quote from Bane the
Centaur found in the first book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, by J.K. Rowling as a
reminder of the importance of As Above, So Below and the guidance available to us when we
tune into the Celestial Realms. This also fits with the Scorpio dispensation that says ‘My Will is
aligned with Thy Will’… and the greater cosmic unfolding!
"Remember... we have sworn not to set ourselves against the heavens. Have we not
read what is to come in the movements of the planets? ... Or have the planets not
let you in on that secret?"
2015 July Celestial Timings by Cayelin K Castell
www.cayelincastell.com Page 18
When we know how to tune in and receive the messages of the Great Above through the movement of the planets in
relationship to each other and the starry backdrop, we have a powerful tool that greatly assists us in consciously
navigating these rapidly changing times.
July 25, Saturday. Venus (00°Vi46') stations retrograde at 2:29 am. This
is the second rarest of the Retrogrades. Mars is the rarest stationing
retrograde every 2 years. Venus stations retrograde every 18 months.
However when considering all the planets, Venus is retrograde the least
amount of time. Mercury is only retrograde for 21 days at a time but
goes retrograde three times a year. Venus is retrograde for only 40 days
every year and half. The other outer planets are retrograde once each
year for at around 4 months.
This Venus retrograde begins the final integration phase of the current
Venus cycle. An entire Venus Cycle from heliacal rise to heliacal rise as
morning star lasts 584 days. It is ranked in the highest tier of importance
of planetary initiation cycles from a shamanic perspective and so is
worth tracking as a way to gain insight into your own emerging feminine
expression if you are a woman. If you are a man, this represents what
aspect of the feminine you are incorporating through the sacred marriage.
New Venus Cycle Honoring the Leo Goddess - details HERE
Mars 20°Cancer30' is square Uranus 20°Aries30' at 2:43 am. This is an important time to exercise awareness around
the home and family as unusual and unexpected events are more likely to happen now especially if we are not paying
attention to what is going on around us.
What unusual nurturing and nourishing action can you take to create a safe space for you and those you are living with,
especially if it helps to expand consciousness?
July 26, Sunday. Mars 21°Cancer07' is trine retrograde Chiron
21°Pisces07' at 1:07 am energizing the Shamanic Healer in the
emotional realm of conscious relating as Mars continues his
underworld journey. In this phase of the Mars cycle, Mars is
given the opportunity to feel unfelt and unhealed feelings so
they are transformed becoming medicine rather than the
thing that ultimately sabotages relationships.
The Moon passes 2.4° N NW of Saturn (28 Scorpio) at 2:14
am. Once each month the Moon passes by Saturn, illuminating
and energizing the new forms that are possible as Saturn is
getting ready to complete its journey through the Scorpio
realm (in September) related to the mysteries of edgewalking,
death and rebirth, passion, intensity, life force energy.
2015 July Celestial Timings by Cayelin K Castell
www.cayelincastell.com Page 19
We might ask, what are the new forms of shamanic edgewalking now emerging? How do we consciously and
courageously walk between the worlds, including the world we live in and the worlds we are co-creating at this Turning
of the Ages? (see more on Scorpio Edgewalking)
Uranus 20°Aries30' stations retrograde at 3:38 am remaining retrograde until December 25 returning to 16 Aries 33.
The retrograde station allows for a shift in perceptual experience especially as it relates to the expanded realms of the
Celestial often producing unexpected and sometimes even dramatic events depending on what is needed to facilitate
change.
Connecting with inner guidance helps us navigate the chaos that often accompanies radical change both internally and
externally. External events reflect the internal changes that are intended to facilitate evolution and growth.
The Moon enters Sagittarius at 5:24 am illuminating the quest for truth, the real truth, the eternal truth, the truth that
exists beyond all the illusions of truth we may have created for ourselves or were created for us by those who have
gone before. Looking deeply into the heart of truth, the real truth of who we are, reveals the true divinity that is our
eternal essence.
July 27, Monday. The waxing Moon is passing 9.3° North of Antares right
around midnight. Antares is the heart of the Scorpion. (see July 28) The Moon
is visible approaching Antares tonight and will be beyond Antares tomorrow
night. This royal star marks the heart of the Scorpion, and is also a Behenian
Star linked with Archangel Uriel, or the Angel of Light. Uriel directs the
initiatory teachings that unite the mysteries of the Heavens as they relate to
the Earth as described in The Book of Enoch.
Around 1762, The Book of Enoch was discovered and translated by James
Bruce. In 1947, nine more copies were found at Qumran as part of the Dead
Sea Scrolls. In the Book of Enoch there is a section called “Book of Heavenly
Luminaries” describing how Uriel teaches Enoch all the secrets of the stars and
planets as they related to the Earth. Here is a passage with Enoch describing his
experience.
And they brought me to a place of darkness, and to a mountain the
point of whose summit reached to Heaven. And they showed me all
the secrets of the ends of the Heaven, and all the chambers of all the
stars, and all the luminaries, whence they proceed before the face of the Holy Ones.
And I saw six portals in which the Sun rises, and six portals in which the Sun sets. Six in the east and six in the
west and all following each other in accurately corresponding order; also many windows to the right and left
of these portals….
The six portals to the right and the six to the left represent the six month on either side of a starting point. In
each of these months the Moon is passing Antares sending a transmission of this star energy directly to the
Earth. When the Moon is with Antares we have direct access to the teachings of Archangel Uriel and the
celestial mysteries. (see July 28 for more on Uriel)

www.cayelincastell.com Page 20
July 28, Tuesday. Archangel Uriel’s Feast Day. Uriel (translated as “Fire of God”) represents kundalini fire and powerful action. To the Kabbalists, Uriel is the middle pillar of the Tree of Life, and is associated with the Shekinah, the divine feminine presence. The Book of Enoch describes Uriel as "one of the holy angels… the leader of them all." Uriel shows Enoch “all the luminaries of the heaven... the Sun, Moon, and Stars…”
The beautiful Uriel stands guardian over the activities of the summer. The ripening of grain and the floodtide of blossom are under his guidance. He also supervises the Nature Spirits, those fascinating little sprites who inhabit the elements of earth, air, fire and water, and who lend so much to the beautification of all nature. The highest initiatory teachings belonging to the New Age... are under the direction of Uriel. ~ Corinne Heline. The Blessed Virgin Mary. New Age Press, 1971, p. 110
The Moon enters Capricorn at 11:47 am transmitting the mysteries of archetypal energy most familiar with how Spirit
manifests into form, and how to efficiently, effectively and responsibly administrate these new forms of manifestation
for the benefit of the generations to come. This is an important time to ceremonially honor the wisdom of the
Grandmothers inviting them to help guide us through these rapidly changing times.
July 29, Wednesday. The Moon is conjunct Pluto (13°Capricorn 42') at
11:23 am. Interestingly, this is the degrees of last year’s Grand Cross
that was exact in April of 2014. Here is a short YouTube refresher on
that remarkable event. That means this particular Moon activation over
Pluto is magnifying the intention that was put into place last year. If
you have planets angles or notes between 12 and 15 degrees of
Capricorn, Cancer, Libra or Aries you may feel this activation more
personally.
In essence, whatever is out of alignment with the divine intent that was
set into motion then will come up for clearing. This may be false egoic
attachments including beliefs and fears that hold us back.

July 30, Thursday. The Moon enters Aquarius at 2:40 pm opening the Full Moon window exact early tomorrow morning. This is the second Full Moon this month but is not a Blue Moon. Find out why HERE. Experientially we see the Full Moon rising for three nights, the day before, the day of and the day after the exact Full Moon. Last night, tonight and tomorrow night the Full Moon is rising at maximum potency energizing the fulfillment phase of this Moon cycle. Watching the Aquarius Full Moon inspires our connection to what is coming into fruition through our visionary and revolutionary dreams. This is time for following inner guidance that often defies logic and reason, which is the place where true inspirational change emerges. July 31, Friday. Retrograde Venus re-enters Leo at 8:27 am. Venus first entered Leo on June 5 and will remain in Leo
now until September 17, beginning a new cycle on August 22 featuring the exploration of the divine feminine through
Leo archetype for the next 19 months. This is a powerful and courageous expression of the Divine Solar Feminine as
radiant Queen or Super Star playing a visible role on the stage of life. This means the intent for Venus in Leo is to show
up in her radiance, her divinity, her strength and courage, her conviction that she is worthy, her brilliance as a bright
light that has come to shine in this world.
When healthy this is not about being more important than others, but rather inspiring others to show up and shine
their light as well. Healthy Leo expresses generously from the place of self-love that arises from self-respect, self-
acceptance, self-approval and self-confidence. This is not an easy path as we live in a time when the collective message
has been that it is selfish to love ourselves. However, over the next 19 months Venus intends to release all the ways
she has not loved herself and to fully reclaim her divine essence and authority.
The Aquarius Full Moon (07°Aq56') is exact at 3:43 am. When the Moon is full in Aquarius this is a great time for
reviewing the “big picture” of what is happening in your life and on the Earth. It is from this unique and inspired
perspective that we can let go of all the shoulds, the rules, the expectations of ourselves or of others that distract us
from being present in the moment.
This is a time for creating space to think ‘outside the box’ of our everyday reality as Aquarius operates multi-
dimensionally beyond time or in the ‘non-time’ where it is easier to connect with expanded awareness of the ONE
reality, or pure essence of the Divine as it relates to our personal journey.
